"Someone who goes to parties with me or any formal occasions without forgetting their main role, which is my wife," Johnson said as he looked at Alicia for any reactions."So let me get this straight, you just want a yes woman don"t you?" Alicia asked amusedly. "Well, I wouldn"t call it that but close" Johnson replied. "Hmm, so if I were to marry you I would have to stop working. I am asking because I really am curious" Alicia said with a glint in her eyes.
"Since, you put it that way then my answer is yes, I prefer a wife I know I can provide for without her trying to fight for the head position" At this Alicia laughed, she had been wondering what century the man in front of her came from for a very long time since their dinner started but looking at him now. She was no longer interested in the answer.
The only reason Alicia came to the blind date in the first place was to honor her grandfather but looking at the century-old man in front of her, She felt her grandfather was just been wicked to her. Looking at the time on her watch she stood up.
Johnson had been watching Alicia since, although he noticed her lack of interest in the conversation he could never have guessed she would stand up abruptly without a reason.
"What is the meaning of this?" he frowned. Alicia laughed amusedly before replying "Well, Mr. Johnson, I don"t think you need a wife. What you want is a slave and I am so sorry to disappoint you because, oh well I am no slave"
Picking up her bag she continued "Lucky for you, I am in such a good mood today. Otherwise, I am not exactly sure of what I would have done to you for the nonsense you just uttered. I was only entertaining you for my grandfather"s sake after all"
Johnson was red with anger, "How dare you?" he shouted at Alicia. Alicia shrugged and continued "Just humor me, how much exactly do you earn in a year? You don"t have to answer cause I already know the answer to that. I earn more than you earn in two years in just two months or even less"
"Even if I wanted to become a housewife, I have no plans of becoming an accessory. Thanks for the meal but I can pay for us, so you can keep your money for your future wife" With this she took her coat. Remembering something she stopped in her tracks "By the way, I wish you luck with your wedding"
Alicia had just stepped out when she came face to face with Prince. Prince had a lunch meeting with someone in the same restaurant he had just stepped out to receive a call when he mistook Alicia"s private room as his since the private rooms were close to each other and they had the same color.
He had opened the door to their private room mistakenly and was planning on closing the door when he heard her voice. He QuickTime scanned the room for her and saw her sitting in an amused state. He forgot to close the door and continued eavesdropping even though he didn"t mean to.
Prince was angry when he learned she was on a blind date. After he heard all she said though for some weird reasons he felt better. He didn"t even realize he was still eavesdropping till he saw Alicia moving to the door. By the time he gained focus though Alicia was already standing before him.
Alicia was shocked to see Pearl in front of her as soon as she stepped out of the private room. For some reason, she felt oddly uncomfortable. She was in no mood to have a discussion with the annoying fellow before her though.
Alicia bowed as a form of greeting to him. She did not even think he heard her discussion with Johnson and was planning on going to her next appointment when Pearl called out to her.
"What are you doing here?" he asked. Pearl felt the question was stupid once he asked but there was no way to retract his statement. "Is it not obvious?" Alicia asked rolling her eyes. She was almost late to her appointment and the annoying fellow was jot helping.
