"Yeah, I know what you think of me. We have been through a lot as brothers but here is the thing you stupid boy. I will not come home if you are taking such foolish medicines. Here is your next dose. This time no sleeping powder." Kazuki walked over to Gabriel and handed him the next powder. "Suzuka and Mayumi both asked me to come and check up on you."

"Thank you, Kazuki. I slept a lot so I do feel a bit better. Sorry for causing you so much trouble." Gabriel took the powder and laid back down. He closed his eyes and thought about everything. "I am very glad that I took this trip. As it means that I get to talk with you once again." Gabriel smiled and relaxed as he lay in the bed.

"What is wrong that you had to come on a trip this far away from home?" Kazuki looks at Gabriel with deep concern. "You do not disregard your health that often but when you do it usually is for a good reason. You take insanely good care of your health."

"For a girl. The one that I got engaged to. She is extremely unwell and has bad attacks. I heard that she is like Subaru"s dearly departed wife. Her father and I came out here to harvest the herbs that are needed for the medicine and to be honest, we were only going to stop here to rest but now we stayed longer because Subaru helped me get the herb that I needed." Gabriel opened his eyes back up and stared at Kazuki.

"I see. That explains the want to get home but you realize that if you take this back to her that it could be bad for her? You do not want her to get sick on top of already having other ailments." Kazuki looks at Gabriel and sighs. "Okay, I get it now. I will make sure that you are completely recovered before we get home but you better do as I instruct."

"Thank you, Kazuki. I am sorry for troubling you." Gabriel bows his head and looks up at him still looking unwell.

"Sleep for longer and if you can"t sleep because your mind will not shut down, take this." Kazuki came in with a small red folded medicine and placed it by Gabriel"s head. "That is the same sleeping powder that I mixed into the first dose I gave you."

"Okay, I will go back to sleep so that you do not need to worry about me." Gabriel picked up the powder and took it and waited for the effect to take place. "I am not sleeping well and don"t know what is going on back home. I hope that you will be happy being back…" Gabriel"s voice trails off as he pa.s.ses out.

"Only time will tell how I feel but I did miss our family." Kazuki leaves the room and closes the door. "Mari, he will be fine. My brother is just stressed out. He is not used to having to care for a loved one that is very ill and it is throwing him off. Just let him rest."

"Yes, I will make sure to leave him be. I am grateful that he helped my daughter and I did not know that you had a brother." Mari looked at him suspiciously.

"I did not want them to find me. I ran away and eloped with my beloved. I had nothing when I came here and I worked hard but stayed out of the town as I knew that if I had to I would have to go back to my family home." Kazuki smiled and left the inn.

Amelia slept for a few hours and woke up groggy. She looked around her room and saw that she was still alone. She got up and went to the bathroom. She started to heat up the tub by adding some logs and starting a fire under the bathtub. She washed her body off and made sure that the dried blood on her hand was washed away. She rinsed off her body and got into the tub. She laid back and relaxed as the water was warmed up. She soaked her body and got out and dried off. She went into her room and at the door was Miyuki.

"Amelia, you are up and about. Do you need anything?" Miyuki carried in the lunch trays and set them down at the table. She quickly set up Amelia"s food and looked at her as she looked more flushed than normal.

"No, I think that I am okay. I will finish the embroidery after I take a nap. Did you ladies get to bring in all the laundry before it started to rain?" Amelia sat down at the table after she finished drying her hair.

"Yes, we did. It was some superb team effort. I was able to bring everything in and we set up a few rooms to let the clothes dry off inside instead of outside." Miyuki sat down and poured some tea for Amelia.

Amelia smiles, "thank you. I am glad that everything went well. I was worried that you might suffer from not getting everything in on time. Although, I am finding the rain very peaceful. Itadakimasu." Amelia sits down and starts to eat a little bit of her meal.

"Itadakimasu. I am glad that you are so peaceful. It is nice to have a person that I can work with and be so friendly and kind. I love our afternoon chats as they are rather pleasant. Let us be the best of friends and that we will be together for a long time." Miyuki smiles and looks at Amelia. "You look a bit pale. Do you want to sleep?"

Amelia ate some of her meal while not leaving a lot of leftovers. She lifted the leftover eggs to Miyuki and placed her chopsticks down. "Gochisosama. I am pretty tired but I do not know if it is from my illness or just because I have not been all that well. It is hard to tell to be honest. I will lay back down." Amelia went up and laid back down on her bed and slowly she drifted back to sleep.
