Chapter 20Erika went straight to her bed as she got home and slumped her entire weight on it. She placed her one arm to cover her eyes and cried. Yeah, she"s crying. Alone in her room.
She"s not crying because of how her cousin described her date to be so lame where in fact it turned out to be fulfilling. She never had thought that just by strolling around and doing really nothing yet she felt perfectly happy.
Well, she"s crying because she"s confused. Her mind is at war with her heart; fighting between what she knew and what she felt. Like she knew how the world will judge her. Like she knew what her parents reaction if she would come out. Like she knew how her life would drastically change. And most of all, she knew what would Andy"s reaction if she would confess her feelings to her. And all of that sucks.

Andy was dragging herself inside her bedroom. She felt lifeless from overthinking. She did not even bother to turn on the lights except for the lampshade next to the bed. She buried her face to her pillow with her back facing the ceiling and then turned her face on the side only to stare at the void.
A lot of things were running in her mind. She"s beginning to regret taking Erika out. She felt like the more time she spend with Erika, the more she"s confusing herself. Who knows how long she"s staring in the void questioning and examining herself.
Yeah, looking back, she never did find any guy attractive may it be celebrities. Well yes, there are those she finds handsome and all but that was it. That"s the limit of it. It never really exceeded for her to call it romantic. Moreover, there were some instances where her heart skip a beat for some girls but she just brushed it off and not let herself be bothered. But now, with Erika, it"s really a different tale.
Summarizing all her thoughts, tears begun to flow. That night, she drifted to sleep with a crying eyes and a heavy heart.

Days proceeded like the ordinary. Andy and Erika acted normally, like their usual self but… but there were really times that they, themselves did not know that they were treating each other out of ordinary.
"This is good." Erika said while licking her fork.
Andy bit her lower lip at the sight of the cake on Erika"s plate. Oh, how she loves sweets. Well, it"s not like she"s not eating one at that time. It"s just that, they"re not the same type of cake.
Rina and Donna also were with them. They were on that café a couple of blocks away from their school.
Erika knew the look on Andys face. She cheekily grinned and covered the cake with both of her arms.
"You"re not planning on taking this, are you?" She eyed Andy.
Andy narrowed her eyes. "Giving me a bite won"t starve you."
"Who knows how many bites you"ll make once you tasted this."
"I never knew you are this stingy." Andy whined while grabbing away Erikas hands from the cake.
Erika leaned away from Andy"s grasp while heavily laughing.
Giving up, Andy was pouting back to eating her cake.
Erika curled her lip up and lean towards Andy giving her a portion of her cake... on her fork.
Andy took it unknowingly relishing the taste of the cake melting on her mouth.
"It"s good indeed." She thought while eying Erika.
"Ahem." Rina made a sound to get some attention.
The two looked at her at the same time.
"You two seemed lost in your own world. We are here too, you know."
Realizing the situation, Erika immediately laid down her fork on the plate and forcefully laughed.
"You can have my cake too Rina." She pushed her plate to Rina.
Andy on the other side did not say anything. She just continued eating with a fl.u.s.tered face.
Donna was just quietly observing. She knew Andy very well so she was looking at Andy like she knew exactly what"s on her mind. But still, decided to keep it to herself for now.
