Chapter 41Three days pa.s.sed.
Everything seemed to fall into place like being back to normal but not really as it was.
Andy could see the weariness of her family"s eyes every time they look at her.
She just brushed it off since it can"t be helped. They need more time to adjust and fully accept everything.
"So how are you feeling?" Kevin asked.
They were on the porch by the living room.
"I"m better than I"ve ever been."
Yeah, she"s slowly getting back to her feet.
The glow in her eyes, the smile in her mouth and the color of her face were also returning.
"I think it"s time for me to report on my internship. I"d been absent for so long."
"Nah, I took care of it already."
Kevin handed her an envelop.
"You stay here and recuperate until your internship ends."
Andy opened the envelop to check.
"I ordered that you"ve been a.s.signed in one of our site office at some remote area with no means of communication."
"I also informed your friend Donna about it."
"And also, I requested her to inform your GIRLFRIEND." He stressed out the word.
"Ugh… " Andy glared at her brother.
"Erika is not my girlfriend."
Kevin laughed. "Whatever. Just stick to the script when you get back."
He tapped his sister"s shoulder then moved to depart but was intercepted.
"Wait." Andy called.
"How did you know Erika?"
Kevin shrugged. "Well... from Donna?"
"Did you investigated her?"
Kevin guiltily nodded.
"Well, we just want to know the girl who made you like this."
Andy"s forehead creased.
"Don"t you try anything funny."
"No, we won"t." He raised his two arms up as if surrendering.
"We just want to know the girl really. Nothing else."

The night before the appointed day of Andy"s return to school from her internship, she invited Donna for a presumptuous dinner.
Andy fetch her friend coming out from a building to where she works for her internship.
Donna waved the envelop she"s holding as she made her way to Andy"s car.
"Ugh…I hate paperworks."
Andy laughed. "What"s that?"
"These are proof of papers for my internship completion."
"Wow, congrats and… well, you look exhausted."
"Who would not? They let me wait until this hour to hand me this."
Donna rolled her eyes. She knew how easily Andy got hers. She felt frustrated.
"Surely, the merit of being rich."
"I"m feeling beat."
Again, Andy laughed. "Then I"ll make sure to treat you to a really good dinner tonight."
And they drove off.
