Chapter 4Standing on the porch beholding the mystic scenery of a well thought landscape design of the Villa; feeling every breath that contains oxygen more than carbon dioxide; looking up at the night sky full of blazing stars, gave Andy the familiarity of being home.
Meanwhile, standing in the living room, not far from the porch, enough to see the silhouette of his daughter, Andry Lewis , longingly watched and did not make any sound so as not to disturb the girl.
He was savoring her silhouette under the dim lights that illuminate her.
She has sculpted figure. With her back on his, it was a pleasure to see her flowing, ebony black hair in ponytail.
Not long, his daughter turned and caught him staring at her. Her crescent shaped eyebrow inclined slightly questioning him of his behavior.
At that moment, watching her move; as her father, he knew that she is more than a pretty girl; she is the apple of his eyes; the light of his life.
As he strolls towards his daughter, a set of dazzling white teeth gleamed at him.
"Dad," Andy lovingly uttered.
She has a soothing voice. The closer the distance, Andry could see that she resembles her mother more and more.
Closing the gap, Andy snuggled in his father"s embrace.
"I can see that you resemble your mom almost in every way," Andry complimented while gently patting his daughter"s back.
Andy, squeezed tighter in response.
Together, the two leisurely talked standing on the porch to catch up.
Time pa.s.sed...
"Good evening Dad, Mom, I"m home."
Kevin, seeing two figures on the porch, greeted the two without taking a second glance and heavily slumped down his entire body on the sofa then closed his eyes.
He was dead tired.
"Mom, can your HANDSOME son gets a ma.s.sage from you? I"m beat."
The two on the porch exchange glances.
"Did he just mistook me for Mom?"
Andry chuckled, "Didn"t I tell you that you resemble her too much?"
Andy rolled her eyes and came closer to where her brother is lying.
With eyes closed, it gave her the luxury to intently look at her brother"s feature.
Well groomed body, perfectly aligned brows, red moist lips, he sure is handsome but she wants to annoy him so she will never admit that in-front of him.
Leaning closer to her brother"s face, "Who"s handsome? I can"t see which part," she said while wearing an innocent expression. .
Startled, Kevin opened his eyes only to see his sister grinning. Feeling annoyed, he cupped her face with both his hands.
She automatically resist him by reaching out to scratch his face which made him jumped up and walk backwards while still holding his sister"s face.
Andy, feeling irritated but could only follow her brother unwillingly while trying to break free from his hands, continued to reach Kevin"s face along with some kicks but all the effort were in naught.
Given that her brother is bigger and taller than her, she eventually stopped resisting and pleaded to free her.
Pouting and slumping her shoulder in defeat, her brother loudly laugh at her state.
" So, am I not handsome?" Kevin asked while still holding her face.
She rolled her eyes, "Fine, you are a LITTLE handsome," she answered while stressing the word LITTE.
Her brother chuckled and finally freed her.
Sensing the danger of what she"s about to say back to her brother, Andy ran and hid at her father"s back. Allowing only her head to come out. Her brother followed her with his gaze. Curious of his sister"s action.
"A LITTLE handsome than my b.u.t.t," she mockingly shouted then sticked out her tongue.
Annoyed than before, Kevin threw all the pillows he could get in the couch only to land at his father.
The usually quiet home turned so lively on that evening and Kate Lewis, witnessing it all as she reached home, did not bother to interrupt the scene.
She was there, hiding, lovingly watching the love of her life; her treasures laughing.
