Khloe and Lily became allies, and played tricks together from time to time, either hurting the innocent or being equaled by Kylie.Because all sorts of incidents kept happening, everyone in the crew said that there must be a ghost on site. However, Director Johnson said that it was simply because the mountain climate didn"t suit everyone. So, he planned to finish the scenes here, then go back to Seattle as soon as possible.
But being alert every day was tiring, so Kylie wanted to find a way to turn things around. Curiously enough, Kylie felt that there was someone in the crew that was helping her out.
Several times, she had been careless, and had nearly fallen into the traps, but was, at last, safe and sound, thanks to many inexplicable hints.
She thought that maybe someone else hated their behavior as well. After all, some people might still be able to see the truth.
Two weeks later, all the outdoor scenes were finished. Kylie went back to Seattle.
"Can you have a few days off then?" Ethan sat on the sofa, looking at her weary face and thinning figure, feeling a bit of heartache.
"Um, sure." Kylie jumped onto the sofa; the elasticity of the sofa made the man wobble.
Ethan expressed his feelings about her rude behavior with a trace of disapproval flashing across his face. At least it wasn"t reproached.
"That"s perfect. Then we can go on our honeymoon," he said softly.
"Honeymoon?" Kylie couldn"t believe what she"d heard.
Ethan nodded, and asked: "I have time later, where do you want to go?"
Since they hadn"t seen each other for some time, Kylie felt that they were no longer strangers, but instead as intimate as a normal couple.
In fact, when she had first entered the house, she had almost rushed over to hug him. Luckily, Pupu"s appearance remedied her embarra.s.sment.
However, Kylie thought that their marriage was fake, so she had not really ever thought about the honeymoon. "Wherever," she said.
A trace of disappointment flashed through his eyes but quickly disappeared. "Don"t you want to go somewhere?" he asked with curiosity.
Ethan thought that she must want to have a good time somewhere, on holiday. After all, she was not a quiet girl.
Kylie hugged Pupu, and seriously thought about it, "I want to climb a mountain, but it seems that there are no mountains in Seattle."
"Indeed." Ethan nodded seriously. He thought: who wants to climb a mountain for their honeymoon unless she wants to...
Driving away from the distractions in his mind, Ethan tilted his head and looked at her. "There is one in Connell."
"Ah? You mean it?" She looked excited. It seemed that she really wanted to climb a mountain.
"Sure." Ethan stood up and turned upstairs.
Looking at that man"s tall and strong figure, Kylie lost herself for a few seconds. This would be her first date with Ethan; she was somewhat looking forward to it.
Kylie was certainly happy, but she seldom traveled and did not know what to prepare.
"Lord Ethan, what shall we bring?" Rubbing her hands, she looked at the clothes spread out all over the bed, then at the empty suitcase.
"Just take me with you."
But Kylie still brought a few sets of clothes, the most important being her pajamas.
Without folding the clothes, she simply threw them into the suitcase. When she was zipping up the suitcase, her cell phone rang. She answered it without looking at who it was.
No one spoke on the phone. She turned to the tablet on the bed, which was displaying the weather forecast she had just searched.
"It seems to be raining in Connell, are we still going?"
"Sure, I"ll go even if it"s h.e.l.l, as long as you like it." Walking out of the bathroom, Ethan saw her with the cell phone in her hand.
Only then did Kylie remember that she had answered the phone. She hastily asked: "Who is it?"
There was still no answer. Kylie took a look at the screen; it seemed to be a strange number.
She smacked her lips and spoke into the phone: "Which company do you work for? You can ask any questions directly except for questions about my private life..."
With a snap, the other side hung up.
"Tut, I haven"t seen a reporter with such a bad att.i.tude!"
On the other end of the phone, the man tossed the phone onto the bed. Frowning and staring at it, he gnashed his teeth. "Kylie Finch, how dare you!"
As soon as Khloe came in, she smelled cigarettes in the house. She hurried to open the window, and asked with care: "Aiden, what"s wrong? What makes you unhappy?"
"Why are you back?" Seeing Khloe, Aiden hurried to drive the smoke away from the room, then wrapped her in his arms.
Khloe threw her handbag on the bed, cuddled Aiden"s neck, and flirted with him: "The outdoor scenes are finished, so the director has allowed us to take a few days off before shooting the indoor scenes. I didn"t go back home. Instead, I came directly to see you. Did you miss me? I missed you so much..."
She took the initiative to kiss Aiden. But Aiden took the opportunity to escape her kiss, smiling reluctantly. "Surely, I miss you, and this is the reason I was smoking just now."
Khloe didn"t notice anything unusual about him. She nestled against his neck, then lazily said: "You"ve always complained that I"m too busy and spend no time with you. Now that I can finally rest for a few days, I want to be with you every day..."
She kept pouring out the torment of lovesickness and did not notice that her fiancé"s heart now belonged to another woman. Kylie"s sharp and clear smile kept emerging in his mind.
"Aiden...Did you hear me?" Khloe rubbed his neck and swayed against him; she kept blowing hot air on his neck.
Usually, he was like a hungry wolf when he was with Khloe. But today she was even taking the initiative to seduce him, yet he had not responded the way he usually did.
Cleaning up his mind, Aiden gently pushed her head aside, pinched her face, smiled, and said: "You"ve been working hard in Baleney these days. Let"s go to Connell and have fun."
"Connell? Why there?" Khloe was puzzled.
Aiden smiled faintly. "It doesn"t matter where we go, as long as I"m with you, right?"
Because of his sweet words, the smile on Khloe"s face grew brighter and brighter. She nodded shyly.

The clothes in the suitcase which Kylie had ravaged, were neatly reorganized by Ethan.
She could not help feeling that having a husband with an obsessive-compulsive disorder was not that bad; at least he was tidying up her clothes.
After their dinner, they took a walk around Toprak Mansion.
Kylie jumped and bounced all the way, either picking up leaves or kicking at stones.
After a short walk, she felt her wrist tighten. It had been caught by Ethan"s big hand, while her shoulder was being ma.s.saged by his other hand.
In an instant, she acted like a lady, quiet and gentle...
Ethan was so tall that she was totally embraced in his arms.
"Aren"t you tired?" He looked down at her with gentle eyes.
Being held by him like that, Kylie was nervous. Her body was stiff, and her heart was beating rapidly.
On hearing his deep, low voice, she looked up at him, then looked down quickly. "A little," she answered with a bit of embarra.s.sment. Then she bit her lips, and her cheeks flushed.
When she had first met Ethan, Kylie had felt that this man was too cold, yet she had simultaneously found him extremely handsome.
But, now that she had been with him for such a long time, she found that his pretty face couldn"t simply be described as "cold" or "handsome".
She thought he must be a demon with extreme beauty.
Especially his eyes. Every time that Kylie looked at him was like getting an electric shock from some high-voltage electricity.
"Why is your face blushing?" Seeing that her eyes were empty, he put his hand on her forehead.
Kylie froze, stammered: "It... It"s too hot today..."
She fanned herself with her hands to ease her embarra.s.sment.
A faint smile appeared on Ethan"s face, his lips slightly open.
"Kylie, your hands are shaking again..."
