Clifford"s phone rings. It"s Gary calling.

"Sir, I need to remind you about the impending interview on TV with you and the young madam in a certain late night show. Your father had arranged it for you instead of some press conference to clear some issues.."

"Whaat?" Clifford stood up from his chair.

"It"s scheduled next week sir and could no longer be postponed or cancelled. Master Clint said that you need to comply it." Clifford don"t feel like opposing the plan.

"Okay, just send me the details and please inform Ingrid as well." He hangs up the phone.

"Problem?" Clifford just shrug.

"Come on, let"s eat! I"m famished."

…♥…♥…♥

Two days after…

Clifford and Ingrid agreed to meet in a place. She wore a 50s white lace bow Pencil Dress which has high close neckline with lace and an elegant yet s.e.xy low back, a shiny faux belt above the waist that runs through the back and has a cute small bow at the end. The dress fitted perfectly to her, hugging her curves in all right places.

When she reached the place, she spotted a small brick walled building which seems it"s been there for centuries. It"s in the middle of a well trimmed garden. The flowers are in bloom. Its leaves are greener than ever. She heard some birds chirping, as though singing a joyous song.

Ahhh Music to her ears…

As she walks to the small building she filled her lungs with air. So fresh and clean.

Today is the day. For about an hour she"ll be Mrs. Ingrid Briggs. Giddiness overwhelms her being. The thought of spending her lifetime with the man she now loves is an achievement to her.

Who would have thought that someday, she"ll find a man to love again? The man who, fortunately, is the father of her child. How fate intertwined the paths?

Her train of thoughts captivated her that she did not notice that she"s already in front of the church"s door. She halted and suddenly the door gently opens. A sqeak that comes from the antique doors echoed within the hall.

The inside of it is decorated with flowers, white roses.

She gasps for air and she grip tightly to her red roses bouquet when she saw Clifford. Standing beside of the minister. Waiting patiently for her arrival.

She has never seen him so wickedly handsome until this time. He wears a silver gray tuxedo and a bow tie. He stands there regal. His stance is so calm. Beside him is their son, who has a matching outfit with his father.

Ingrid is misty eyed. She smiled warmly when she heard the traditional wedding march piece.

She fixes her gaze to Clifford, who also stares at her with such pa.s.sion and love. Her steps are unhurried but firm as she follows the tempo of the music. She"s coming for him. He"s waiting for her.

Nearing to them, Clark run to her side and takes her hand. "Mommy, you are so beautiful." The child"s eyes beams with admiration.

"My baby…" she choked at the compliment her son is giving her. She planted a soft kiss to her son"s cheeks. And together, they continued to walk.

Clifford never batted his eyes, as his bride approaches his side. He went still and froze of how delicately beautiful Ingrid is today. She is breathtaking. He needed more air to breathe properly. His hands are sweating and cold. He"s misty eyed and about to cry at the sight of his wife and his son walking towards him. A lump in his throat started to build up the moment he controlled his tears.

"My love…" he gasps when Ingrid stops in front of him. He saw Ingrid"s eyes redden, her cheeks blushed.

"Clifford, m-my l-love…" Ingrid whispered and she looked away, blushing.

The man could not restrain himself anymore that out of the blue, he embraces her.

"Oh…" he embraces her so tight and he couldn"t utter any word fitted for this moment..

But the minister coughed to get their attention. "Let"s get started so that you can have the world on your own." The minister grinned.

The two blushed. "Dad, mom include me in your embrace please." The child pleaded sweetly.

All of them laughed and together they included him in their embrace.

Clifford and Ingrid decided to have the wedding on their own, far from the scrutiny of many. They wanted it to be serene.

The minister started the ceremony. He didn"t prolong it.

"Clifford, state now your vows…" the minister said.

The two turned and faced each other.

"This is making me so nervous than venturing a new business…" he chuckled, Ingrid just smiled nervously.

Then his facial expression changes and he becomes serious.

"Ingrid, my love… this is one of the things you taught me. Love is patient. You always do things properly and not hastily. I am not a perfect man, I don"t know how to be a better husband. But I vow to always protect you not just from harm but also to protect your emotions, to stand with you against your troubles. I vow to support you and admire your strong, kind and determined heart. I love you…"

Ingrid shed tears.

"Cliff, it took me a great effort and struggle to stand here before G.o.d and you to make this vow. I thought that love is a feeling, but when I met you that"s when I realize that it isn"t just about feelings. In my case, it"s always been a choice. Because our circ.u.mstances led me to see you as you are without partiality. Today, I stand before you as a woman with no more reservations. I choose to spend the rest of my life with you, to grow old with you, to love you unconditionally because I love you…."
