Days before the accident. . .

Flair is so distressed with her feelings for Sheldon that she needed Daisy to accompany her to ease her sadness begging Daisy to come with her to have fun since it"s Friday. But Daisy doesn"t feel like going but as she looks at her friend"s gloomy face she agreed to go with her.

"Alright, alright! But please, let"s leave early." Flair"s face lit up and without ado, they went straight ahead to Flair"s favorite res...o...b..r.

Since it"s still early there are only few customers around. Daisy started to frown upon checking her surroundings and felt gloomy at that moment because all she could imagine is the comfort of her bed.

Her head spins easily if there"s too much noise but as of that moment only a jazz music is still yet played but she knew that later it will change to loud rave party music. Just the thought of it makes Daisy to throw up.

Flair found a spot where she could see everyone coming. Immediately the waiter went to them to take their order and Flair ordered a lot as though she"s planning not to go home early. She wanted to stop her friend but Flair glared at her so she decided to just shut her mouth.

When the waiter left, Flair share to Daisy about her great attraction for Sheldon and at the same time she kept on taking glances at the entrance that makes Daisy suspicious of her friend. So she just listened and silently observes her friend.

When their order arrived, Flair did not eat and her attention is still somewhere else. It is obvious that Flair is waiting for someone. Daisy glanced at her friend only to see her surprise look and she instantly looked at where her gaze fell.

Daisy saw a man walking in the restobar with such a charismatic smile. He looks so unsullied. Noticeably, most ladies stared at the man also, like a dog salivating to devour a delicious food.

"Wait… he looked so familiar..." Daisy"s brows knitted to remember where she"d seen the man.

Out of the blue, Flair spoke with annoyed voice and glowered at her best friend when she sees her gloomy appearance.

"Come on, Dais! Don"t be such a killer joy. Hmmp! You and your tedious life makes you an old maid, will you let yourself enjoy for at least once? Look at you…" she waved her hands to Daisy, "…you look so unhappy and murky. And you keep on frowning in this kind of place. This is the place to have some fun, you know!" Flair felt so helpless on making this friend of hers to be sociable.

"I didn"t frown, I was just thinking over something." She shrugged.

"What are you thinking?" Flair rolled her eyes as if she knew what Daisy was thinking. "Is it work related again?"

"Nope. I saw someone just now and I just can"t remember where I have seen that man. The one you"ve been staring at…" Daisy innocently answered.

"That"s Sheldon Mesley, you idiot!" Flair"s eyes grew big. "All along, I was pouring myself out and yet you"ve no idea who I"m talking about?!" Flair is so mad at her best friend for being so dense.

"I remembered his face but not exactly the name." Flair slapped her own face.

"Gosh, Daisy! You"re so unbelievable!" Flair could only shake her head pitying her friend for being so out of this world. Flair suddenly stood up.

"Where are you going, Flair?"

"I"m gonna go and make myself known to Sheldon. I"m his director after all. Just wait for me here." Before Daisy could stop her, she"s gone.

Twenty minutes pa.s.sed, but Flair did not yet return to their table and she"s becoming impatient and irritated because she feel so suffocated of all the noises and cigarette smoke around her. So Daisy decided to go home. She called the waiter and paid for their bill. After paying, she sent a text message to Flair informing her that she"ll go ahead first and she didn"t waited for her friend"s reply.

When she stood up, she started to feel dizzy and her head started to ache.

"Ugh! This is the reason why I hate places like this." She grumbled.

As she walks, she keeps on ma.s.saging her head to at least relieve the throbbing pain in her head. Nearing at the door, she b.u.mps into someone.

"Oh, gosh, I"m so sorry. I haven"t look at where I"m walking." Daisy still rubbing her head as she apologized and lowered her gaze on the floor fearing that the person she b.u.mps into may scold her which makes the throbbing pain in her head grew.

But the man never uttered any word but just stood there in front of her. Bewildered, Daisy slowly looked up to see the face of the man. However, her eyes started to get blurry. She closed her eyes in attempt to clear it but her efforts are in vain. Instead of relief, she feels even more dizzy and is about to pa.s.s out.

"Oh no, no, no. Not here!" she screamed in her thoughts and she started to panic.

"Are you alright?" is all that she could hear before she totally pa.s.sed out.
