Mend My Broken Heart

Chapter 112

"No... The old man never told me anything. He also told me to ask Lyndon if I had some questions..." Kyler said flatly on the other line. He could not care less about the reason why Lyndon had to shot him but the fact that his brother did won"t change a thing.

Rodora tried to calm her emotions down.

"Will you meet me? I missed you... I really thought that you were dead and Lyndon told me that you are not..." she said to her son. Her voice became a little shaky but then she tried to ease it.

As much as she wanted to cry and beg him to stop hating his own brother, she could not. She could only try to listen and pacify him to lessen his over twenty years of pain.

"I"ll try …. Mom..." Kyler did not know why but he suddenly felt the surge of longing for his mother"s love. He could not help himself but feel reluctant on cutting the line.

Kyler had lived a life of endless b.l.o.o.d.y battles. He was taught how to die and how to kill in every day when he was still in country X.

He wanted to return home and asked their forgiveness. He wanted to but then when he thought of Lyndon"s face pointing the nuzzle at him, he casted it aside.

His hate grew into this point of no turning back.

Kyler never wanted to part with his family back then but it was forcefully taken away from him by his own brother. That was he thought.

Rodora could not control her emotions anymore and cried. Like a mother who had lost her son but eventually found him. She could not understand why her own father would result in such ways.

She cried but then after a few hours, she stood up and wiped away her tears.

She could not allow herself to be drowned with sorrow and guilt, she has to do something.

Before everything will turn out bad.

Debbie on the other had a crying emoji on the screen. She could see that her creator is crying and sad but she could not feel anything.

"Debbie, lets go out in this h.e.l.l..." Rodora declared.

"Okay..."

"Philip are you coming with me?" Rodora asked casually as she fiddled the keyboards of the super computers.

Philip had no family to return to and he betrayed the man who saved him. If he will not join Rodora, he will be dead and in other way if they will be captured, he"s the only one who will be dead.

There"s no harm in trying.

"I"ll go with you..." Philip said eventually. Maybe he could have a new lease of life when he"s out and he could fulfill his dream.

"Okay... Here"s the plan..."

Lyndon became tensed when Maybell told him that her mother was not in country P.

That call was authentic and she"s in the hands of Lance King at this very moment.

"Prepare the chopper for me." he said on the intercom.

Maybell did not answer as she called directly the pilot.

After a few moment, she informed Lyndon that everything is ready. Lyndon had his back up, Mikhail Khaled and he did not fear the old man like he did before.

His reign is over and the one who called the shots was his sworn brother.

Before he boarded the aircraft, he made a call to the man. Not waiting for any answer at the other end, he shut his cellphone down and wore the headset navigator.

The flight was not that long and not that short.

Their plan will commence accordingly as his own team were on stand by already. They"re just waiting for Lyndon to raise the signal.

When the propeller of the chopper whizzed, he elegantly strode towards the exit of the private airport where his ride landed.

He immediately pressed his Bluetooth speaker on and issued commands.

"Rescue the Great Lady in Lance King Mansion, time, 2:00 and we rendezvous at the old airport at 1600..." he talked like a military man. He knew that the other lines were listening intently to him and had been itching to do some action for a long time.

Once again, Lyndon called Maybell.

"Connect me to Lance King..." and he stared at his watch intently.

Maybell did not speak and immediately dialed some numbers on the telephone and after a while, the other line rang.

"h.e.l.lo... Mr. Lincoln.. What can I do for you?" the elderly voice sounded through out his earpiece.

"Good that you still remembered me, grandfather..." he sarcastically answered.

"Of course... Who could not remember you? You are the great Lyndon Lincoln... So, what made you call?" the old man did not bother his tone. He knew that the man will ask about his mother. The old man rehea.r.s.ed so many lines on his mind but now, it all became blank.

"Where"s my mother?" his tone was grave and murderous. He could not hide this no matter how much effort he had put.

"I don"t know... She went home but then she walked out from my front door unharmed..." he denied but there was also truth about what he said. He did not know where Rodora had run off to.
