Chapter 135 – Unfeeling Demon
As I delved deeper into Maoshan Sect, the sight of the injured and bleeding Maoshan disciples became a common sight. Upon setting their eyes on me, it appears that many of them have a.s.sociated my demon self with the h.o.a.rd of demons that were part of the invasion and immediately evaded my sight. Even during such a critical time, Seventh Senior Brother and Senior Sister Yun Lan were busy arguing with each other.
Seventh Senior Brother said, “If word spreads that I was saved by a woman, won’t I lose even more face?”
Mu Yun Lan held onto his sleeves, and said with anger, “Who wants to save you? I’m counting on you to be my human shield against those demons.”
Seventh Senior Brother was furious, “It wouldn’t make any difference if you just left me here!”
“Nonsense!” At this moment, Mu Yun Lan appeared extremely firm, she carried the man onto her back and said with a forehead full of sweat, “The demons down the mountain are much stronger than the ones up here! Since you’re a man, you should protect me from them!”
“How can I protect you? You’re an unreasonable crazy woman! Hurry up and let me down already! If Miss Yin Zi sees this, I won’t ever be able to raise my head up again!” Seventh Senior Brother loudly shouted, “Let me down! I hate self-righteous woman like you the most! Get lost!”
I slowly approached closer, and discovered that Seventh Senior Brother’s foot had been broken and b.l.o.o.d.y. At that moment, Third Senior Sister frail and thin body could no longer carry the man’s weight, and the two stumbled back onto the ground. Several demons have already discovered the two and had surrounded them, as if the two were their next meal.
Mu Yun Lan grabbed the wooden sword from her waist, pointed it at the demons, and placed Seventh Senior Brother to her rear. Seventh Senior Brother struggled to get up from the ground, but he soon slumped back onto the earth, his eyes closed. Mu Yun Lan fiercely fought against the demons with her sword. Like a lightning flash, my body instantly appeared before them. When her eyes opened again, the demon’s heads have all fallen to the ground.
Mu Yun Lan blankly stared at the sword in her hands, her expression was extremely pale. She did not cry or scream like an ordinary girl would in this situation, and only grabbed a hold of Seventh Senior Brother before heading down the mountain.
“Go to the weapons treasury and meet up with everyone else there.” Seeing her head the wrong way, I couldn’t help but speak aloud.
Mu Yun Lan was like a frightened animal. She turned her head left and right to find my body, but I dare not show her my demon body. I quickly jumped up and moved through the forest eaves. Soon, the sounds of a girl sobbing could be heard once more. This time it was Liu Wen Zhi and Yang Yi Lan, the two were tucked away in a corner of a house, most likely too afraid to come out.
“He…..actually left me and ran away by himself, how could he…..” Yang Yi Lan’s face was disheartened, her eyes desperate.
“Junior Sister, speak a bit more softly. There are demons outside…..” Although there was panic in her voice, she seemed calm and cool headed.
“Wen Zhi, how about I go out as bait, and then you can use that opportunity to escape…..” Yang Yi Lan cried, “Since, I don’t want to live anyways.”
“d.a.m.n s.h.i.thead! Why would you give up your life over that kind of ungrateful b.a.s.t.a.r.d?” The normally reserved and graceful Liu Wen Zhi cursed, “His words were that a husband and wife must face troubles together, but look at him now.

In the event of a disaster, he fled by himself. Just think of his words and him as bulls.h.i.t, us sisters can only depend on each other.”
“But…..I don’t think I can go on living like this.” Yang Yi Lan was on the verge of mental breakdown, “How about we just die a quick death, so we don’t have to be tortured like so?”
“Don’t speak. Take out your sword and dagger!” Liu Wen Zhi was unyielding, “Any demon that dares come close, stab them to death! Not just one or two, but we must kill them all! We must continue to live. We can’t let that b.a.s.t.a.r.d off easily, we must live so we can beat him to death!”
“How do we fight?” Yang Yi Lan finally gathered the courage to take hold of her weapons. She looked up and glanced up Wen Zhi as if she was her only hope and dependence.
Liu Wen Zhi didn’t know how to respond, “I’ve never fought in battles before, so I don’t know…..”
“There is a path to the north! If you carefully hurry over there now, you’ll arrive at the weapons treasury where everyone is.” These two Senior Sisters treated me really well, they occasionally delivered me food, so I hope that they can be strong and safely escape from any troubles.
Liu Wen Zhi gave a startled cry, and then looked left and right for the source of the voice. She and Yang Yi Lan was a little hesitant about leaving, but they decided that it was worth giving a shot at it and that it was much better than how they were just sitting idly by waiting for their deaths.
As I moved deeper into the mountain, the amount of people who I could sense significantly decreased and the demonic force grew stronger and stronger. I halted my pace, listened to the sounds that were carried by the wind, and then immediately headed to the source of the battle at the West Hall.
The corridor to the West Hall had completely collapsed. The 18 Layers of h.e.l.l painting had been shredded into pieces and the many clay buddha sculptures had been reduced to dust particles.
Along the way, because of my powerful demon force, the little demons saw me as one of their own companions and offered me many flattering smiles and salutes. Of course, I playfully returned a greeting and then proceeded to slaughter them all. Seeing these actions, the little demons were all shocked. They called for backup in order to get rid of me, however, this also saved me the trouble of having to look for them myself. I also didn’t have to worry about Xiang Qing and the others since the demons were whole heartedly focused on killing me.
Slaughtering my way to the West Hall, a powerful monster finally appeared. He stood in the center of the hall dressed in rhinoceros leather and golden inlaid armor. At that exact moment, his halberd had viciously swung towards Third Martial Uncle. The battle was extremely one sided, Third Martial Uncle had no means of attacking and could only dodge the oncoming attacks. As I approached closer, I realized that this demons eyes were crimson red and that his face was covered with blue veins and a black aura. A sword had pierced through his chest and right through his heart, but it was not dead. This demon no longer had even an ounce of sanity or reason in him. To obtain this power, he must’ve sold his heart and mind to the devil in order to take revenge on Maoshan Sect’s people.
Even when Bi Qingshen Jun was alive, this kind of monster would have caused him a headache because it was neither afraid of pain nor was it afraid of death. This kind of anomaly only had a single weak point. I didn’t know where this weak point was, the only way to defeat him was to slice his body up like mince meat, completely destroying him in the process.
In all honesty, I’ve never faced this kind of monster before. This is because unless there was a great hatred for someone or something, no monster or demon would be willing to enter this state of insanity and madness. It was a lose-lose situation, and was definitely not worth it.
All of the bones in Third Martial Uncle’s body had been broken and he had fallen to the ground. The demonic beast continued to torture him and seemed a bit reluctant to let him die.
I didn’t dare to delay any longer. I hastened my steps forward, viciously grabbed onto the monster’s shoulder, and then tossed him to one side. Taking advantage of our close proximities, I mercilessly used my Heaven Shattering Claws upon him.
The beast’s demonic force increased several folds and viciously pushed me aside. I straightened my tail to maintain my balance, preparing to launch another attack. Third Martial Uncle only stared in surprise, he was somewhat stunned, “It’s you…..”
Seeing that old man stubbornly refusing death, my heart was a bit worried, because after all he was Xiang Qing’s respected Martial Uncle. I can’t just leave him alone, but if I place my attention on him, I’m afraid my own life will be at stake.
After giving it a thought, I simply sent him flying with a kick. Kicking him out of range and falling onto the gra.s.s next to a pond.
Third Martial Uncle’s bones must be extraordinarily hard, to fall from such a distance and not make even the slightest of sounds, perhaps he had just fainted…..
“Hey, hey, you big blockhead! Let’s not fight anymore, since we’re both demons, let’s try to solve our differences with words, alright?” Seeing the demon in madness, I tried to soothe his emotions.
Unfortunately, he no longer had any reason within him, he only continuously repeated a single word, “Kill…..kill…..kill…..”
I had to brace myself. Under the violent storm of offense, I turned to the left and right to avoid his attacks. From time to time, I would also attack his vital points, but unfortunately my luck was bad and I was unable to strike his weak point. My heart grew impatient the longer the fight dragged on. In the distance, my eyes caught the figure of Jian Nan on the roof, he shouted, “Miao Miao, you should quickly escape! You shouldn’t fight with this kind of monster!”
“I’m not leaving!” I explained, “If I leave…..this b.a.s.t.a.r.d will go after Xiang Qing!”
“This kind of heartless and reasonless monster won’t die, you can’t fight it!” Jian Nan was very anxious, he turned around and ran, “You must hold on and endure, I’ll go and request for help!”
Just as Jian Nan left my vision, I saw Xiang Qing with the Duo Bao armor on and carrying the Su Mei sword. I wanted to tell him to run away, but the demonic beast had used the opportunity to pin me down. I prepared to use my Heaven Shattering Claws to retaliate.
Xiang Qing raised the sword Su Mei to strike at the demonic beast, however, there wasn’t even a single mark much less injury on the demon’s body. He asked in defeat, “How do I use this thing?”
With a forehead beaded with cold sweat, I gave an honest answer, “Don’t know…..”
“Then what should we do?”
“Don’t know…..”
