Kang Sola"s hands traced Xue Guangxi"s spine from the lower back to the neck and slid smoothly towards the shoulders in a repet.i.tive manner.  Her hands were soothing as an angel"s healing caress.  They weren"t as heavy as he would have wanted, but they felt like home.

But his muscles grew tenser as she continued to touch him.  The heat from her touch spread all over his body like wildfire.  Every touch ignited in him like a spark from the electricity that he felt he was more tortured than relieved.

The pleasant and inviting aroma of peppermint did not help at all as it was expected, but in another way, the situation did not call for.

Xue Guangxi tried to control his raging hormones.  Occasionally a helpless groan escaped from his mouth, and beads of sweat coated his forehead. He balled his fists under the pillow.

When he couldn"t manage himself any longer, he murmured, "Stop!"

"What was that?  I didn"t catch it."  Kand Sola cluelessly retorted.

"It"s enough.  Let"s stop here."

"I"m nearly done, though."

Xue Gunagxi turned his head and locked his intense, heavy gaze, full of intent onto her innocent ones.

Somehow, Kang Sola caught the vibes.  If she would be asked, she would not be able to explain it, but she could feel something was wrong with Xue Guangxi"s gaze.  It made her feel jittery...

The Second Young Master grabbed one of her wrists that were suspended in the air.  It wasn"t forceful, but the grip was stable and strong.  Combined with the lad"s intense stare, Kang Sola felt her knees wobble and her stomach somersaulted inside.

She recklessly shook off the lad"s strong grip and freed herself, sprung to her feet and took slow staggering steps backward.

"I"m sleepy.  Leave me alone, please."  His voice turned out raspy as a bead of sweat trickled down along his temple.

"O-Okay."  Panic-stricken, Kang Sola nodded her head frantically then fled the room.  Her instincts told her that would be the smartest thing to do in that situation.

When she left, Xue Guangxi let out a sharp sigh and resigned himself onto the bed. "That was close."

As Kang Sola ran, she b.u.mped onto Chen Linyun near the second-floor landing just outside Xue Guangxi"s room.  The girl apologized and excused herself,  still in a hurry.

Chen Linyun found it odd.  As the pneumatic- controlled door gradually closed,  he had taken a glimpse at the lad who was lying topless on the bed.

Instantly, his blood boiled and reached the peak of his head.

He followed the girl to her room and stopped just outside.  The girl was already inside.

Chen Linyun paced back and forth, each step heavier than the former.  He wanted to confront and discuss what he saw with his little sister, yet he did not know how to deal with it.  He did not even know what to say.

"What to do? What to do?"

Certainly, the matter wasn"t light in his eyes to just brush off.

Inside the room, Kang Sola sat up on the bed, the last look Xue Guangxi gave him was still imprinted on her mind.  She felt her heart leaped, but she knew it wasn"t because of anything special, but perhaps simply because of the intensity of the stare.  She felt b.u.t.terflies in her stomach.

The adrenaline rush made her thirsty.  She decided to go down and help herself with some cold, refres.h.i.+ng beverage in the kitchen.

As she opened her door, she was surprised to see Chen Linyun, pacing back and forth.

"Linyun-ge? What are you doing here?  Is there a problem?"

"Sola..."  Full of uneasiness, he felt that he should grab this opportunity to tackle the sensitive matter once and for all.  "You tell me, is everything alright?  I want you to know that you can tell me anything, okay?"

Kang Sola tilted her head, not getting the point.  She could sense the severity of the matter from Chen Linyun"s behavior, but could not fully comprehend.  "Okay."

"Just now... I saw you go out of Guangxi"s room in a hurry.  Did something unusual happen? He... I..."

His tomato-face invaded the scene.  The girl"s equally dominant purple face was on the same level.

Her brother was insinuating something although he couldn"t get it straight.

..."I... happened to see him lying on the bed without a... *ahem*  s.h.i.+rt... I... It must be normal for him to sleep without a s.h.i.+rt... But, Sola... what are you doing there?  I might be... I"m sorry... I can"t think clearly..."

Kang Sola"s face flushed a shade stronger.  So, that was how it appeared.

They sat at the couch in the living area on the second floor and openly discussed what had happened.  She explained everything to him from start to finish - about the coupons, the ma.s.sage.  Every single thing.  When she ended, all the awkwardness had dissipated, and at this point, she could already laugh the misunderstanding off.  She left out the part where Xue Guangxi threw her an intense gaze, though.

Chen Linyun felt dumb for misunderstanding the situation, but in his defense, he thought that it was his blood-related connection with the girl that had acted earlier in his system.  His only fault was that he did not allow his mind to have any benefits of the doubt.  Rather,  his mind even added fuel to the fire.

Scratching his head, with all the unprecedented sibling love and concern he never imagined he could have, he advised her, "No matter who, be vigilant around boys in general, alright?  I know you are of age already, and capable of deciding for yourself, and Guangxi is a good boy... Not only him, though... But... It"s your responsibility to take care of yourself.  Don"t allow anyone to do anything against your will."

"I understand, Linyun-ge. Hehehe."  It"s her turn to scratch her head.  She felt loved, but the conversation simply wasn"t too comfortable to deal with.  The flush on her face from embarra.s.sment had not subsided yet.

Chen Linyun stood up, but before he left, he patted his little sister on the head, eyes warm with fondness.

In his study, his mobile phone rang several times before he could answer it.

"Jin Yuan."

"Boss.  I"m here to update.  I found the lady, Miss Han. She was transferred to another hospital a little bit farther from here.  It was initially difficult to get information - I had to use your name, Sir.  It"s a good thing the hospital is one of the recipients of our foundation."

"That"s fine.  What else?"

"I was able to get some DNA samples with the help of a nurse there.  I submitted the samples with yours, and I"ve got the results now."
