"Vlogger Kang Sola, why are you here?" Guangxi asked Kang Sola who just arrived at the bar.Upon hearing it, Kang Sola scowled at him.
Xue Guangxi reeked a strong stench of alcohol. Even at a distance, she could already sense that the alcohol stench was coming from him. She was having a bad feeling – a foreboding - about coming tonight.
"You told me to come here." Kang Sola reminded him, trying to understand Xue Guangxi. Because, he was heavily drunk.
He was seated on the bar"s counter. He snickered, remembering. "Yeah. Yeah. I sent you the address. I forgot already."
"He"s drunk." Kang Sola thought.
"Why are you drinking too much?" She seated herself on the high stool beside him, and crossed her arms on the counter.
"I just feel like it." He chuckled. "Were you busy? I tried contacting a few schoolmates, only you showed up. People really cannot be counted on when you"re in need. They"re only there during good times." He kept on drinking his gla.s.s of hard liquor.
"What"s wrong? Do you want to perhaps share your problem? It seems heavy. I"ll listen." Kang Sola tried to coax him to open up.
"Nah! Let"s not talk about it. Just stay here with me." He turned his head towards her. "Make me laugh."
Kang Sola started to get annoyed. "Do I look like a clown to you, Second Young Master?" Her face is turning purple with annoyance.
Guangxi"s eyes sparkled, then arched. Not long after, he started laughing. "HAHAHAHAHAH!!!"
"What"s funny?! What"s wrong with his brain?!" Her purple face turned maroon. Her nose flared like a dragon about to breathe out fire. There was a wrinkle on her forehead.
"You"re epic. Your face is so funny!!!" He gulped his alcohol down, and ordered a new one.
"Hey, what"s wrong with my face?!" She exclaimed in protest.
"Nothing!" But Guangxi continued laughing, but mirth faded slowly out of it and eventually he stopped. He sighed. He downed his new gla.s.s of hard liquor in one go. His face was turning red from too much drinking.
"Xue Guangxi, maybe you should stop drinking now. You seemed to have too much already."
Guangxi rubbed his face with his right hand from the forehead to the chin, then up again in a repet.i.tive, irritated manner. The world was beginning to sway, when in fact, it was he who was swaying. At last, he could not sit upright anymore. He laid his head on his left arm that was outstretched on the countertop. His right hand clutching his gla.s.s. His surroundings were becoming blurred.
He stared at Kang Sola. She was becoming two in his eyes. He blinked several times while shaking his head. He stared at her full lips.
Then in so unceremoniously a fas.h.i.+on, his right hand that was clutching the gla.s.s released it only to extend it towards her.
Kang Sola felt a strong force on her nape, pus.h.i.+ng her forward. Then she felt another strong force on her face, on her mouth. Her eyes would have popped out if it could.
"Mhmm-mhmm!!!!!" She muttered while struggling out of his grasp. She was extending her arms forward, trying to push him away, but never landing on him.
She felt the wetness from his lips capturing her own. She felt her lips getting sucked hard, getting bitten. She panicked even more. She was shaking so terribly, trying to break loose. Two teardrops fell.
A strong muscle that was most probably his tongue licked her lips, and eventually tried to enter her mouth, forcefully prying it open. Her tears began to fall more strongly. She was feeling extremely helpless. She was pus.h.i.+ng his shoulders. He only budged a little.
Then she felt the grip on her nape loosen. She grabbed the opportunity to break free. She succeeded.
Eyes still wide open, she covered her mouth with both hands.
Guangxi"s head fell on his left arm that was spread out on the countertop. His right hand pounded hard on the table. He was crying and whimpering. His eyes were closed.
The pounding of his right hand continued to intensify. He was banging the surface. He seemed to be muttering a person"s name… "Jingjing!!... Su Jingjing!" He murmured. He howled.
"Why did you come back? Why did you have to show yourself again?!" He finished his thoughts in his mind. His face crumpled, he stopped banging the table with his fist. As if to continue, he knocked his head on the table several times, both his fists clenched hard.
He was out of his mind.
The bartender turned to Kang Sola who was frozen in place. "Miss, take your boyfriend home. He"s causing a stir in my bar. Look, people are staring at him now. What a nuisance! It"s bad for the business!"
"He"s not my boyfriend!!" She ran out of the bar in a speed of light.
"I shouldn"t have come."
"I shouldn"t have come."
"I shouldn"t have come."
She thought repeatedly while fleeing. Her whole body was still shaking. Outside the bar, with trembling hands, she dug into her bag to fetch her phone. She sent Butler Lee a message. "Mister, the Second Young Master is badly drunk. He"s at this bar", followed by the address.
"He"s dangerous…"
"He"s dangerous…"
"He"s dangerous…"
Kang Sola recited inside her head while running towards the bus stop. She took the bus home towards the university dormitory.
She wasn"t crying anymore, but her eyes were still wide from shock.
Kang Sola could still feel the lingering sensation on her lips. Her brain constantly reminded her of how it all unfolded. Her body was still trembling.
"I should stay away from him. He"s a player. He"s trouble."
"That was my first kiss…" She felt bad. She felt extremely, extremely bad. Any words would be an understatement.
