Chapter 901: She Is A Young Medical Genius
If Wu Yue had not seen Huo Yao’s work on Quantum Mechanics, this notion would not have struck him.
Now that he had seen it, he could not help feeling excited.
Wu Yue held the sealed envelope as he looked at Huo Yao resentfully. “Isn’t it perfect? In that case, you can take the opportunity to improve yourself.”
Huo Yao refused to answer. Instead, she took her backpack and nodded. “Mr. Wu, I have to go.”
Wu Yue looked up and watched from behind as the young woman left quickly and could not help lamenting in his heart.
The other students did not even have the chance to join this research team. Why was she so adamant about not joining it and avoided it like a plague when the opportunity presented itself?
Wu Yue quietly held up her solutions. The more he looked at them, the more upset he felt.
This young woman was barely 18 years old. With the right grooming, she was bound to become one of the best students they had had in recent years.
No wonder Prof Rong wanted to take her in as his disciple. If he were in the same shoes, he would have done the same.

After Huo Yao’s last cla.s.s ended at 4:00 pm, she packed up her things and left the room.
Lin Shuwen was already there waiting at the school entrance. “Hi, Miss Huo.”
Huo Yao nodded before she got into the car.
Since Fang Chen was a high-ranking government official, his teacher ought to be an important man as well. This time, Lin Shuwen did not take her to a private residence. Instead, Huo Yao was taken to a traditional-looking small tea house.
There were very few people in the small teahouse and Lin Shuwen brought Huo Yao upstairs to the second floor.
Inside the private room, Fang Chen was sitting with a man in his fifties and chatting with him. This man ought to be his teacher.
Fang Chen put down his teacup when he saw Lin Shuwen and Huo Yao walking in. He stood up and nodded politely.
He turned to look at his teacher and introduced them. “This is my friend, Miss Huo. She is a medical genius.”
Li Fang stood up. The moment he saw Huo Yao, a hint of surprise swept across his eyes. His student had mentioned that the doctor was very young, but he did not expect her to be this young.
“Although Miss Huo is young, she is a highly accomplished doctor,” said Fang Chen after clearing his throat.
Li Fang snapped out of his thoughts. Considering his age, he had encountered plenty of people in his life, so he did not doubt Huo Yao’s ability because of her age. Moreover, she came highly recommended by his student, so he felt she must be a good doctor.
Li Fang pursed his lips slightly and nodded to Huo Yao and said, “Nice to meet you.”
Huo Yao nodded as well. “How do you do?”
Fang Chen invited Huo Yao to take a seat before brewing a fresh pot of tea unhurriedly and pouring her a cup.
There was an incense burner on the table and incense was wafting in the air as light music played in the background, making the atmosphere particularly relaxing and refined.
Huo Yao tapped on the table gently before picking up the teacup and taking a sip of its contents. She looked up at Li Fang sitting across from her and said, “Let me check your pulse first.”
Li Fang had lost all hope for his condition. He only agreed to come because he could not outtalk his student and did not want to hurt his feelings.
He extended his hand and placed it on the table. He smiled and said in a teasing tone, “I know my condition, so no pressure.”
Huo Yao raised her brow without responding and placed her hand on Li Fang’s pulse. A few seconds later, there was a slight change in her expression.
Fang Chen also noticed Huo Yao’s expression. He automatically squeezed his hands worriedly, but he did not intervene right away.
Half a minute later, Huo Yao pulled her hand back and looked at Li Fang. “You must have previously suffered from a serious viral infection, right?”
