Chapter 1537: Do We Head South Or North

In the face of Prairie Fire and the others’ worries, w.a.n.g Yu responded casually, “No problem!”

“Brother, are you kidding?” Prairie Fire was in despair.

However, Prairie Fire understood now. Not only did w.a.n.g Yu treat the BOSS as a plaything, he also did the same to players… This guy’s ego was so huge that he acted however he liked. However, they were facing a professional squad. Couldn’t he take things more seriously?

“Haha!” w.a.n.g Yu laughed and ignored Prairie Fire.

All of a sudden, Manda chuckled as he walked over. He glanced at w.a.n.g Yu and the others, then at Blossoming Rain and his team. “So? Are you ready?”

“Yes!”

Blossoming Moon stared at w.a.n.g Yu at the others and raised his hand.

“How about you?” Manda asked Prairie Fire.

“I… I guess so.” Prairie Fire felt confused as he responded.

“Okay, let’s go!”

Manda swung his arm to the table. All of a sudden, the map on the table opened up as a bright light shot out from the cracks on the map. All of a sudden, the map was enveloped in light.

Manda smiled slyly as he said, “Oh, right. I forgot. It’s easy to get lost in Dragon Valley. Do you want to buy a map?”

“F*ck!”

When they heard Manda’s words, Prairie Fire and Blossoming Moon revealed an expression that said “you’re kidding me”.

d.a.m.n, this trip to Dragon Island changed their perspectives. The NPCs here were more cunning than any other NPCs.

Even at this moment, he was still thinking of making a trade. What was he even selling? The NPCs scammed the players of their gold at every opportunity. Did they really need a map?

However, since it was a quest, there was no way they could complete it without it. The fact that Manda dared to make such an offer meant that the tribulation map would be worse. If they got lost in Dragon Valley and failed the quest, that would be the worst.

“How much is the map?” Prairie Fire asked.

“5,000 gold!” Manda smiled cheekily as he extended his hands.

“d.a.m.n you! Why don’t you just rob a bank?” Prairie Fire sighed.

Even though they had the gold, how could a map cost so much? Didn’t this mean that the players would suffer a loss no matter what?

“Robbing is against the law. We’re a game that abides by the rules!” Manda was absolutely shameless.

“F*ck!”

Prairie Fire and Blossoming Moon shot Manda a thumbs-up.

Of course, they were all experts. Even though 5,000 gold wasn’t a small number, they could afford it. Blossoming Moon sighed and handed a money pouch to Manda. As he took the money, Manda tossed Blossoming Moon the map.

“I…”

“We don’t want it!”

Just as Prairie Fire was about to take the money, w.a.n.g Yu suddenly interrupted Prairie Fire.

“Really?” Manda glanced at w.a.n.g Yu.

“Really!”

w.a.n.g Yu smiled, “We don’t need it.”

“Alright! Have a safe trip, everyone!”

Manda smiled and waved as the white light swallowed the two teams up at once. They felt the scene before them change as w.a.n.g Yu and Blossoming Moon’s squads appeared at two different entrances in Dragon Valley.

They received the system message simultaneously.

A number appeared on everyone’s screens – 14. This was the current number of players on the map.

“Let’s go, we should hurry! Don’t let the Brave Continent warriors overtake us!”

When they received the system notification, Golden Sun Blossom shouted hurriedly as he led his men toward Dark Demon Dragon Aitas’ cave.

“Don’t rus.h.!.+”

Blossoming Moon pulled Golden Sun Blossom back as he pulled out the map. Glancing at it, he pointed to the south, “You’re heading the wrong way. We should go this way.”

“Really?” Golden Sun Blossom glanced at the North, then the direction Blossoming Moon pointed as he gasped, “No wonder Elder Manda said it was easy to get lost. I thought that north was that way.”

“You’re right!” Blossoming Moon chuckled, “That is the North. However, we should head South.”

“Head south? Why? Aren’t we going to get the map first?” Golden Sun Blossom wasn’t the only one who felt confused. The others looked puzzled as well.

“Of course, we have to do that.” Golden Sun Blossom rubbed his chin and said, “However, we don’t have to fight the monster for it. Anyway, there’s only one exit.”

“I see!”

When they heard Golden Sun Blossom say this, everyone gasped in shock.

Man, since there was only one route, what was the point of fighting with their lives on the line against the monsters?

Wouldn’t it be better to station themselves at the entrance to reap benefits?

Dark Demon Dragon Aitas was a BOSS, too. Its abilities wouldn’t be too weak. Furthermore, according to Manda, after Aitas died, there would be small mobs pursuing them after that.

Once their opponents defeated the BOSS and chased the mobs away, they would have used most of their medicine and health supplies. Furthermore, they’d be in bad shape.

That was why all they needed to do was camp at the Southern entrance to capture their targets. Even if w.a.n.g Yu and the others weren’t a match for Dark Demon Dragon Aitas, they had sufficient ability to pa.s.s through Dragon Island. That meant they had enough firepower to deal heavy damage to a Dark Demon Dragon. After their team got wiped, they could pick off their sc.r.a.ps nicely.

In other words, waiting at the entrance was the best move.

Anyway, w.a.n.g Yu and the others had just entered the tribulation grounds. They could watch them panic and lose their footing.

Prairie Fire shouted anxiously, “Brother Bull, are you kidding me? Why didn’t you want the map? We don’t even know which exit we’re at now.”

w.a.n.g Yu smiled as he looked at his surroundings. “We’re at the eastern entrance.”

“Huh…?”

Just as Prairie Fire heard this, he calmed down at once as he asked in shock, “How… how do you know?”

“That’s because there’s a large rock there.” w.a.n.g Yu pointed at a rock nearby, “When Manda showed us the map just now, I used an elf to capture a picture of the map, hehe! I saved 5,000 gold for you, and you’re screaming? How about you pay me instead?”

“You… you took a screen-capture?”

When he heard w.a.n.g Yu say that, Prairie Fire nearly bowed down to w.a.n.g Yu at once. Man, this was the first time he heard anything like this. He was practically a G.o.d. Prairie Fire practically wors.h.i.+pped him. “Did you know that Manda would scam us from the start?”

“Nah!” w.a.n.g Yu waved his hands, “It’s experience!”

“Experience? What kind of experience…?” Prairie Fire was sh.e.l.l-shocked.

“Alright, less rubbis.h.!.+ Let’s go!”

“Brother Bull, you’re heading the wrong way!” Prairie Fire pulled w.a.n.g Yu back, “We should head south first. I can’t believe you can be careless at a time like this.”

w.a.n.g Yu understood what Prairie Fire was planning. He laughed, “Did you think the enemy didn’t think of the same plan?”
