Chapter 1560: Tulip’s Bow
“I’m not sure but I have a feeling he is from the Chinese server!” one of the men replied.
“Oh? Why are you so sure?”
Blossoming Moon asked inquisitively.
The game was ultimately different from reality and a player’s appearance was always going to be animated to a certain extent. Therefore, Asian players were bound to look similar to each other regardless of which country they came from. The fact that this man could say that so confidently puzzled Blossoming Moon.
“Look at his height… This fella is incredibly tall unlike the j.a.panese,” the man answered directly.
“F*ck…”
Blossoming Moon replied again, “But that is not always true. I mean they can adjust their height in the game, right?”
“The key is that he isn’t a Tank. Why would a Pugilist adjust his height to be this tall unless he is crazy?” the man replied.
In reality, being tall and big in combat would be advantageous. However, a player’s attributes and his size were completely unrelated in the game.
Furthermore, being so huge meant that he would have made himself a much bigger target. With the same attributes, the bigger the target, the easier for others to attack. Unless his job was meant to take these attacks like a Tank, players of any other jobs would normally do their best to make themselves smaller in size. In this way, others would have a harder time trying to attack them and it would always be easier to hide behind a Tank.
Especially for weaker jobs like a Pugilist, one wouldn’t intentionally adjust themselves to make themselves a bigger target. This was, of course, unless they were already this big in real life and couldn’t get used to the vision of a smaller person.
“Pugilist?” Blossoming Moon was dumbfounded.
Of course, Blossoming Moon wasn’t dumbfounded by the size of the Pugilist. Instead, a frightening figure popped up in his head when he heard the word ‘Pugilist’.
Chinese, big size, Pugilist and extremely brazen when asking for directions on the streets. Putting these four points together, Blossoming Moon couldn’t think of a second person.
Golden Sun Blossom, who was beside him, was equally as shocked when he heard this news, “Boss, do you think that Pugilist is?”
“Highly likely!” Blossoming Moon nodded fearfully. w.a.n.g Yu had just exterminated Blossoming Moon and his entire squad moments earlier so there was no way they could forget the fear in their hearts. Once they heard that w.a.n.g Yu was here in Starry Sky City, they couldn’t help but feel flabbergasted.
“Oh? Boss, you recognise that Pugilist?”
The informant asked inquisitively when he saw Blossoming Moon and Golden Sun Blossom’s expressions.
“I do!” Blossoming Moon nodded before pausing to think, “Go and inform everyone from the main guild to gather now!”
“Everyone from the main guild?”
The informant was dazed when he heard this.
One must know that this meant even people from the subsidiary guilds of Golden Time. In total, there were over five hundred members.
Blossoming Moon and his squad were all professional experts too. Even though they were not considered extremely strong among all the various professional squads in Starry Sky City, they were still G.o.d-like to this bunch of men. Wasn’t their opponent just a trashy Pugilist? Why was there a need to muster such a large force?
“That’s right!” Blossoming Moon continued, “We must not disclose this matter. Otherwise, the credit wouldn’t go to us at the end of the day.”
Blossoming Moon was also a witty and intelligent person. He was naturally aware that the players from the other guild had yet to witness w.a.n.g Yu’s ability. Hearing that their target was merely a Pugilist, they would definitely treat him like chicken meat. In order to get a greater share of the meat, the lesser the number chasing after w.a.n.g Yu would be better. At the very most, they would only send one squad of players.
Blossoming Moon and his men had just suffered from w.a.n.g Yu’s hands. Therefore, they knew that they had to be well-prepared but if others knew about what they were doing, they would do the same as well. By then, compet.i.tion would be so intense that a guild like Golden Time might not be able to steal the kill from the other squads in Starry Sky City.
“Alright, I got it,” the informant responded and left immediately.
Looking at the back view of that man, Golden Sun Blossom asked doubtfully, “Boss, even though that kid is a little difficult, sending five hundred men to catch one person seems a little overboard. How are you going to split the rewards?”
As one of the leaders of the squad, Golden Sun Blossom had similar thoughts as the leaders of the other guilds.
“Haha!”
Blossoming Moon chuckled, “Would you rather have a smaller share of the rewards or none at all?”
“This…” Golden Sun Blossom replied, “Of course the former.”
“Sounds about right!” Blossoming Moon continued, “We’re merely chasing to kill instead of fighting him face to face. Naturally, having more people increases the odds of us succeeding.”
“Alright, you’re the boss…” Even though Golden Sun Blossom was still slightly unconvinced, he couldn’t do anything but nod helplessly. In his heart, being able to keep all the rewards to himself was still the best outcome.
On the streets of Starry Sky City, w.a.n.g Yu continued to ask for the whereabouts of G.o.d’s Glory. While the outcome was clear to see, players of the streets started staring at w.a.n.g Yu with eccentric gazes.
w.a.n.g Yu was feeling extremely helpless as he recalled everything that he had accomplished before and the places that he had been. He was even capable of joking with the Dragon Emperor Dales. Even so, he couldn’t even find something in Starry Sky City.
It seemed like knowledge was truly power. If the language expert Boson was here, this wouldn’t have been that difficult.
As time pa.s.sed, w.a.n.g Yu was getting sick of asking for directions in this manner. Just when he was about to find a place with n.o.body around to go offline for his meal, a group of players appeared not too far away from w.a.n.g Yu. The two people right in front of him were Mountain Chief and Hidden Ghost. They were the ones who had their weapons stolen by w.a.n.g Yu.
“That is the Pugilist!”
Hidden Ghost turned to Tulip as he pointed at w.a.n.g Yu, who was leaning against the wall.
“That’s him? He is actually just a Pugilist?!”
Initially, Tulip was worried that w.a.n.g Yu would be an expert and that her squad of men might not be able to handle him. Now that she saw w.a.n.g Yu’s job, she couldn’t help but snicker.
This was simply a gift from the heavens.
At the thought of this, Tulip turned to the players behind her and asked, “Who wants the first wave of contributions?”
Tulip was just like Uncle Bull who had always been a real democrat. Of course, giving them the opportunity and actually asking them to do it were two different things. Just because your boss invites you to take the first bite of the dish doesn’t mean people will dare to do so.
Therefore, everyone shouted, “Boss, you go first!”
“Haha!” Hearing their words, Tulip laughed out loud, “Since all of you are so kind, I shall not stand on any ceremony.”
“Boss, please be careful…” Mountain Chief couldn’t help but warn him.
“Don’t worry!” Tulip waved her hand and said, “Tell the brothers at the resurrection point to guard well. Watch how I take his dog life with my arrow!”
As he spoke, Tulip reached out for her silver and white bow before grabbing a golden arrow and aimed it at w.a.n.g Yu’s back.
