Chapter 1422: Peak Grade Armour
“Thank you, thank you!”
After receiving [Heavenly Descent], G.o.d of Death’s Left Hand hurriedly gave his thanks to everyone, before using the skill book on himself. Shortly after, a ray of bright light enveloped his figure.
[Heavenly Descent]: Jumps high into the air and transforms into a ball of heavenly flame, smas.h.i.+ng into all targets in a 800 radius and dealing extra damage to all targets within a 200 radius. All enemies. .h.i.t by the ability will have their movement speed reduced by 25% for 3s. User of the ability will remain immobile for 0.5s after casting this ability.
Cooldown Duration: 55s
MP cost: 1000
Upon seeing the description of the ability, a look of excitement could be seen on G.o.d of Death’s Left Hand’s face. After so long, he had finally possessed an ability that could save his life.
The 800 distance repositioning wasn’t short. It should be known that w.a.n.g Yu’s [Flash] only covered a distance of 500. Additionally, this was an ability that was both an attack and repositioning ability, allowing the user the flexibility to attack and retreat. The only downside to it was the 0.5 immobility after its cast. However, to an all-in-strength Archer, this wasn’t too big of a deal. After all, once a player got used to it, it would still be acceptable.
…
“Brother Bull, loot an a.s.sa.s.sin item this time round…” Upon seeing G.o.d of Death’s Left Hand receiving such a huge power up, Frost Blade couldn’t help but cry out loud from the sides.
“An equipment for Pugilists.” Vainglory chipped in.
“A Magician’s equipment!” Raksha and Ming Du both yelled at the same time.
Seeing the few of them shouting, the others involuntarily frowned at this scene.
Who knew what these b*stards were thinking? They were actually hoping for w.a.n.g Yu to loot non-Warrior type equipment from a Warrior BOSS…
It was fine for Frost Blade and Vainglory. After all, the BOSS was still considered a melee cla.s.s. Thus, there was a decent chance for an a.s.sa.s.sin’s or a Pugilist’s equipment to be looted.
Ming Du was dual attributed in both Thunder and Fire. h.e.l.l Lava, was a fire-type BOSS, thus it was still within reason for it to drop an item that Ming Du could use too.
But what the h.e.l.l was Raksha, an ice-attributed Magician, shouting for?
Ignoring the fact that the chances of looting a Magician equipment was extremely slim, even if it could be looted, how was it possible for h.e.l.l Lava to drop an ice-attributed equipment?
Under everyone’s gazes, w.a.n.g Yu retrieved the third item.
h.e.l.l Lava’s Brilliance (Armour) (Obsidian)
Physical Defense: 240-300
Magic Resistance: 240-300
+52 Physique
+50 Strength
[h.e.l.l Lava]: Pa.s.sive skill. Provides the user with a lava armour of 10% of the player’s maximum HP and reflects a small percentage of the damage received back to the target. If no damage received within 30s, the lava armour will regenerate itself.
[Inferno Blessing]: Pa.s.sive skill. Increases the user’s maximum HP by 5%. At the same time, incorporates a [Blaze] effect in the user’s attacks. Knight’s [Blazing Halo] ability’s effect increased by 30%.
[Void Firestorm]: Pa.s.sive skill. Deal 200 Magical Damage to surrounding enemies every second.
[Blazing Fist]: Active skill. Summon h.e.l.l’s flames and blast it at all enemies in a rectangular area in front of the caster. Enemies. .h.i.t suffer a 17 points reduction in movement speed for 3s and huge amount of aggro is pulled to the caster.
Item Description: h.e.l.l Lava slumbered in the depths of the lava in the Earth’s core for countless of years, manifesting the ability to control flames. This suit of armour was never once taken off by him ever since he was born and possessed great magical abilities. After being summoned by the flame sovereign, this suit of armour has never tasted defeat in all of its battles.
Job Requirement: Knight, Warrior
Level Requirement: 65
“F*ck! This armour…”
Nearly half of the team consisted of Warriors and Knights. Upon seeing the attributes of the equipment displayed by w.a.n.g Yu, Boson and the rest were drooling by the time they finished reading it. They excitedly exclaimed, “It’s a Peak Grade item! A true Peak Grade item! It truly lives up to the equipment dropped by the BOSS of a hidden dungeon.”
Even the rest of the players that were neither Knights nor Warriors were shocked by the attributes of this equipment.
All of the players there were top-tier experts. Thus, they definitely wouldn’t misjudge the value of an equipment.
Apart from the overpowered main attributes of the equipment, either one of the additional effects brought about by the equipment was peak grade attribute for a Tank job.
What are the most important attributes that a Tank needed? HP! Defense! Ability to pull the enemy’s aggro!
Normally speaking, an equipment could only raise the player’s attributes. Thus, any equipment that could increase the maximum HP and defense of the player would be considered a peak grade equipment for a Tank.
However, this armour not only increased the defense and HP of the user, it even provided the ability to pull aggro. It could definitely be considered a peak grade equipment amongst peak grade equipment.
Additionally, what was worth noting was that this armour also incorporated an effect in the user’s attacks.
Apart from the [Blaze] effect, the ability, [Void Firestorm], was definitely one of the most outstanding points of this piece of equipment.
One of the greatest weaknesses of Tank job cla.s.ses, especially Holy Knights, was their lack of damage output. Even though dealing damage wasn’t very important for a Tank, if a Tank did not deal enough damage, it would be very difficult to pull the enemy’s aggro.
Even though the 200 Magic Damage dealt by [Void Firestorm] every second didn’t seem high, it was a pa.s.sive AOE effect and did not require any cost to be activated.
This equipment could even increase the effects of a Knight’s [Blazing Halo].
After a LV50 Knight received the buff in the effect of [Blazing Halo], the damage dealt to the surrounding targets every second was 1%. After wearing this item, the damage dealt would be increased to 1.3% instead. At this moment, after taking into account the 200 Magic Damage dealt by the pa.s.sive effect of the armour, a player could deal significant damage just by standing on the spot without moving.
Think about it, an all-in-physique Holy Knight activating [Blazing Halo] after equipping this equipment. This was almost equivalent to using a hack in the game and was too terrifying to fathom.
Among the four additional attributes in an Obsidian equipment, usually only two of them were peak grade. An Obsidian equipment with three peak grade attributes would be considered a top-tier one.
All four of the attributes of this armour, however, were peak grade attributes. The price of this piece of equipment would definitely not be any lesser than that of an ancient grade one.
If this piece of equipment was given to a Tank, he wouldn’t trade it for an ancient one.
“Who should this armour be given to?…Why not we roll for it?” Hades licked his lips and suggested while still fixing his gaze on the attributes of this equipment.
It couldn’t be helped. The people from Quan Zhen Sect and Kingdom of h.e.l.l were two separate groups. It would be impossible to logically reason out who this piece of equipment should belong to.
If this piece of equipment was given to the people from Quan Zhen Sect, it would seem like w.a.n.g Yu was bias in his decision. If it was given to the people from Kingdom of h.e.l.l, w.a.n.g Yu would appear to be someone that did not look after his own brothers. Only by ROLL would this whole process seem fair.
“Then let’s ROLL for it!” Kingdom of h.e.l.l’s G.o.d of Death’s Left Hand, Asura Blood Termination and the rest expressed their agreement.
The people from Quan Zhen Sect, on the other hand, began to frown at the thought of it.
Heck, this suggestion was too stupid. This bunch of b*stards would have an advantage if they were to make the decision based on a ROLL.
Including Asura, there were a total of four players that could use this equipment from Kingdom of h.e.l.l, whereas Quan Zhen Sect only had two. Even though ROLL was a fairer method to make the decision, the chances were obviously higher for the Kingdom of h.e.l.l’s players.
“Boss Left Hand, what do you think we should do about this?” After pondering over the situation, Fearless asked G.o.d of Death’s Left Hand, “Previously, even though that skill book had no job restrictions, we didn’t ROLL for it either and gave it to you instead.”
It was an extremely clever move on Fearless’ part. Even though it seemed like he was asking G.o.d of Death’s Left Hand to make the decision, everyone could tell that Fearless was actually reminding G.o.d of Death’s Left Hand, “We gave you the skill book previously. As to who this armour should be given to, you of all people should know best.”
