Seeing how frightened the squad was, Fearless commented again, "Alright, let"s stop scaring ourselves. This is only a level 30 faction dungeon. No matter how strong the BOSS is, there is still a limit."
The game set it such that the level of the dungeon would be equivalent to the limit of the BOSS. Without mentioning the clone, even if the real Sixth Apostle was here, he wouldn"t be able to stronger than the limit set by the dungeon.
w.a.n.g Yu also added in, "Fearless is right! While the magic in the Heart of Darkness is dense, it is still much lesser than when I did the first quest. It should be because of the limit."
Everyone started feeling more confident again when they heard the words of Fearless and w.a.n.g Yu, "Hopefully."
"Oh yes, where is the Dagger of Seal and Dusk Roulette? Hand them to me." w.a.n.g Yu turned to Fearless and asked for these two items.
The Dagger of Seal and Dusk Roulette were the two unique tools given to the leader of the squad before entering the dungeon.
"En." Fearless nodded as he handed the two items to w.a.n.g Yu. These two items were the two key tools in sealing the Sixth Apostle. If they were to get caught up in a fight, they wouldn"t have any time to pa.s.s these items to each other. Therefore, it was important for them to hand it over to the person who was most confident of sealing the Sixth Apostle up. If they couldn"t trust w.a.n.g Yu"s ability, everyone else could forget about standing a chance against their opponent.
After the handing over, the squad continued to move forward. Because the magic had been absorbed by the Heart of Darkness, all the monsters escaped which explained why the Dusk Peak was incredibly empty. As they travelled across the forest, they arrived at an extremely open platform.
The platform was empty and it wasn"t hard for w.a.n.g Yu to tell that this platform was the location of the sealing altar.
In the middle of the platform, there was a throne and an indolent middle-aged man lying on the throne, who had a pair of really drowsy eyes.
As he saw w.a.n.g Yu and co. approaching the platform, the middle-aged man closed his eyes to rest.
"Oh, is this the Sixth Apostle?" Vainglory asked w.a.n.g Yu as he stared at the man on the platform.
"I have no idea…" w.a.n.g Yu shook his head as he had only heard of him but had never seen the real Sixth Apostle before. However, judging from the Heart of Darkness, the Sixth Apostle should be a fella overwhelmed with flames of magic. However, the middle-aged man on the platform was more like an ordinary person.
w.a.n.g Yu checked out this man and indeed, the result was extremely fraudulent.

All the attributes were in question marks and even the name was a question mark. This was the first time w.a.n.g Yu experienced a situation like this.
Fearless and co. saw the situation and revealed terrified expressions. Only a top expert of over level 100 could hide their own name. This fella in front of them…
"The opponent"s level is at least 135. n.o.body is to do anything rash especially you, Old Bull." Fearless hurriedly warned them on the group chat.
Everyone else was easy to convince because they had been gaming for many years now. They knew what to touch and what not to touch but this fella called w.a.n.g Yu was a true exception. He knew nothing of the immensity of heaven and earth. Even if the t.i.tan who created the world was here, w.a.n.g Yu would still dare to swing his pole at him.
For a level 35 nightmare dungeon, the upper limit of players was +15 levels which made it level 35. However, a level 135 monster actually appeared out of nowhere. This was most likely a storyline NPC.
Storyline NPCs were high-level NPCs made to help players fight in such a dungeon. If w.a.n.g Yu were to swing his pole around this NPC, it might be impossible for them to complete this quest.
Initially, w.a.n.g Yu was still planning shooting the middle-aged man to test his luck. After hearing what Fearless said, he held back on his idea and kept his gun.
Everyone couldn"t help but wiped off the cold sweat on their forehead when they saw w.a.n.g Yu keeping his gun. This fella was really planning on messing with them. If it wasn"t for Fearless" timely warning, they would have been doomed.
Fearless calmed himself down as he led his squad over to ask the middle-aged man, "May I ask for the ident.i.ty of your distinguished self? And how did you end up in this place?"
This was the way to trigger a dungeon storyline. The first step would be to ask for one"s purpose and then joining hands to fight the opponent.
"Pa.s.serby!" The middle-aged man didn"t seem very friendly as he replied Fearless absent-mindedly.
Fearless knew that some of these high-level NPCs had such an att.i.tude so he wasn"t angry. Instead, he replied, "We are to organise the Sixth Apostle"s warriors. We wonder if you are a foe or friend?"
The middle-aged man heard Fearless" words and started sizing Fearless up, "My name is Reinald!" As he said this, the word "Reinald" appeared on top of the middle-aged man"s head.
"King of Killers, Reinald?" Everyone cried out when they heard his name.
Reinald was one of the seven Heroes. Even though Reinald was one of the greatest a.s.sa.s.sin, he was rarely around in the same place. Therefore, no one had truly seen how he looked like before.
However, there was no need for any doubt that this was a true peak grade NPC. He was one of the greatest existence of this game and definitely a true legendary BOSS.
"This name sounds so familiar." w.a.n.g Yu kept scratching his head.
Darknorth Fisher replied, "He is the target NPC on the Killer"s Job Change Token!"
"Oh! No wonder!"
If Reinald was the storyline NPC, they wouldn"t worry even if the Sixth Apostle came down personally.
When they found out that this person was Reinald, Fearless and co."s excitement was without saying. This was especially true for the four Thieves as they couldn"t stop smiling to themselves. They even started to boot-like Reinald like it was n.o.body"s business.
"Master Reinald, I am your most loyal fan and I even have your job change token with me…" Darknorth Fisher said in excitement.
This person in front of them could be considered the supreme existence of all the ancestors of Thieves. If he could get a hidden quest out from him, that would be the best case scenario. Even if he couldn"t, taking a photo together with him would allow him to boast for a long time.
"Oh?" Reinald was finally interested as he looked at Darknorth Fisher, "I have something on now. We will continue on this topic after you get out of this dungeon."
"Yes, thank you! Is it possible for me to take a photo with you now?" Darknorth Fisher asked again.
Reinald didn"t say anything as he simply nodded his head.
Even though Reinald looked indolent, his att.i.tude towards the squad was considered much better than before. At the very least, he didn"t chase them away as the group of them gathered around him to take a photo. If it was any other high-level NPC, they would have been forced to leave immediately.
At this point, w.a.n.g Yu sent a private message to Fearless, "Don"t you think this is a little weird?"
"Which part?" Fearless replied.
"Is it not weird that a legendary hero is here to help us deal with a level 50 BOSS?" w.a.n.g Yu answered.
Fearless responded, "It is a little weird but regardless of how low the Sixth Apostle"s level was, his name was still the Sixth Apostle. It made sense if Reinald was here to help defeat him once and for all. I"ve also checked on him personally and his ID is indeed not wrong."
A system NPC would never lie and since the ID was correct, the ident.i.ty wouldn"t be fake. This was also the reason why even though Fearless felt weird, he never suspected Reinald.
"But the Sixth Apostle is merely a clone. Are you telling me Reinald alone is not able to handle him?" w.a.n.g Yu continued, "Even if he is a storyline NPC, he doesn"t look like he has any intention of helping us."
"This…" Fearless was slightly taken aback, "I will test him out."
