Chapter 4011: Golem
Crack!
Finally, a person not far beside me killed the last beast.
This time, n.o.body held the beats. Even the man with claws is quite injured.
He was barely able to finish the fight. There is no way, he would try to hold down the beast. Aside from him, there are very few people who had constructs to do it.
I looked at people. A few seemed fine, while scratched at b.l.o.o.d.y.
A total of six people died and thirty-two were on the field, while the rest have given up and appeared in stands. Some have energies covering them, likely healing the injuries.
In less than an hour, only a third has remained.
These hundred people were powerful and skillful, but this challenge showed them how much they were lacking compared to others.
A minute had pa.s.sed, and I expected the gates to open. Everybody had expected it, but they didn"t.
Another minute pa.s.sed and then another, but nothing had come. If I think, I understand what is happening.
It"s simple, every wave has twenty minutes. If it finishes before the twenty minutes.
Then the next wave will come and will be time for twenty minutes, but it won"t happen, but there are less than twenty minutes before the end of the hour.
I had guessed a lot of things here, but I am probably right.
In the eleventh minute, the gates begin to open again.
Thud Thud Thud!
There is no roar, but the deep sound begins could come out soon.
We saw what the challenge was.
It is a golem. It is three meters tall, wearing an energy armor with a long sword in its hands.
There was a clock for one hour over their head and I saw the devoid of core. This means that this fight isn"t about killing the enemy, it is about surviving it as the name of the challenge state.
Thirty-two of them came out, with eight from each gate.
These are going to be dangerous, but I am smiling. The challenge is going to be amazing.
Its big size makes defending against his attacks quite easy. I also have experience fighting against such enemies; I have fought with them more than those of my size.
Minutes pa.s.sed, and I continued clas.h.i.+ng with him while looking around.
Two had already given up, while others were fighting. Some are in terrible condition, while others are doing good.
All my former teammates are doing well in their own way. There are a few more people who are doing well.
A few minutes pa.s.sed and three more gave up. One was able to escape more than half of his waist cut. He survived as he appeared in sitting with dense energy covering him.
Soon, half an hour pa.s.sed, and I changed the strategy. From fighting against him directly, I begin to dodge and attack me.
Clang Clang Clang
It is impervious to all. I hit him, but not a single scratch appeared on it.
For that, it is a big challenge. Even I am not as relaxed as I seem to be.
I am a little scared. I know how powerful it is. It will need a single attack to finish me off; I will have no choice, but to scream, I give up.
Clang!
His sword clashed with my s.h.i.+eld squarely and I barely shook before dodging his second
attack.
Clang!
Its sword followed with his steps, and it attacked again, but once again, I defended with my
s.h.i.+eld.
The next attack, I dodged, which was a challenge as I was in the air, and it had leaped at me
attack.
I had succeeded, but had the words, "I give up," in my mouth. Fortunately, I had dodged the attack and then another, before landing.
It attacked me again and his sword was about to clash against my s.h.i.+eld when suddenly it
stopped.
I looked at it and smiled. The hour is over.
It had eliminated seven people, leaving only twenty-six for the next challenge.
