Chapter 2187 - Three Way Strengthening II
Six hours have pa.s.sed, and I have dealt with another complication that had nearly derailed the whole process.
The process is much more complicated and delicate than I had initially thought. Every hour, a major complication would occur, and I would deal with every option I had.
Two hours ago, I had nearly abandoned the whole process, as it had become very dangerous, but a few seconds before stopping everything, I saw the positive signs and continued, and it is a good thing I did.
The process had not finished; it would take two to three hours more before it could be finished, and now after dealing with so many complications, I am less afraid of them and would be able to deal with coming complications with a clear mind and confidence.
The complications are bad, but they have also provided me with a huge amount of data. I have seen blood, flesh, and bone react to one another and different types of herbal energies and what I should do when negative friction occurs between them.
I could say now that the next session would be much easier with all the data I had collected.
Yes, there would be the next session as I have already got the 25% success that I want as a minimum.
Another hour pa.s.sed and then another, and now, I am again dealing with the complication, and this one is the hardest; I could not get it out of control, or it will seriously injure three of them, and Ida might not be even able to survive the shock.
This time though, I am not worried that things will get out of control; I am managing it without letting it harm three of them too much.
It took me half an hour to manage the complication, and after that, the process had lasted another half an hour before I finally took a sigh of relief and let go with a smile. I have done good, a little better than I had imagined.
"42%" is good, but I would do it with little fewer complications. It would take me some tries before I could perfect the method.
The research requires rigorous experiments, and it is due to these rigorous experiments, I was able to create the famed three-way strengthening method. Currently, it is far from perfect and extremely dangerous to perform, but soon, it will not be.
"Congratulation, lord Micheal, you are really able to do it," Neela said excitedly. "It is thanks to you that I was able to do it this quickly; you share a big credit for what we have done today," I said to her with a smile.
That serum of her was extremely useful; if not for it, the experiment would have delayed weeks, if not months.
I turned toward my patients and focused on the seeds in their bodies, and the next moment, even clearer metaphysical shapes appeared in front of my eyes. Through it, I could see their states even more clearly.
Currently, they are unconscious; I had done that unintentionally to save them from some blows; the process was not extremely smooth, and I could handle it without them being conscious.
Though it would have been great if they had been conscious, it is such an amazing process to experience, and I will give them a chance to experience it when I furnish the process.
"Their data looks good, but I think we will have to give them a day"s break before we start on the soul," Neela said after a few minutes, and I nodded.
Though they would more than recover by tomorrow, the break is necessary. The strengthening of the soul is not as dangerous or complicated as the body, but it will be straining; it would be good for them to be well-rested for it.
They will go through three-body strengthening sessions and three soul strengthening sessions. It will take twelve days at most, and after that, they will be ready to join the war. If everything went according to my plan, then the power they would get would be shocking.
I stayed in the arena for another hour, doing multiple tests, deeply looking into their bodies for any hidden danger that they may have gotten from the experiments, and only when I got satisfied did I leave the arena.
Neela stayed, she did not have to be, but she wanted to. She said she liked to keep an eye on them till they woke up.
Neela is quite dedicated and has a great mind, and I am thinking of making her, my a.s.sistant.
I need an a.s.sistant, to be honest, there is too much workload, and it sometimes felt suffocating, but I could not make anyone my a.s.sistant, even if she was my mentee.
I have many secrets, and some of them, like the rule-bending power or my core, could not be known to others. I have never told anyone about them, and I would never have; these are the secrets that could put their lives in danger.
An a.s.sistant might get a hint about them, and so, they need to be very trustworthy. I will watch her, and if she continues to be useful with her abilities and careful about her words, I will make her my a.s.sistant.
It was again very early in the morning when I returned, and my father had not woken up. So, after I freshened up and cooked the breakfast, and ate it with Ashlyn and Nero.
I had finished breakfast and was.h.i.+ng the plates when my father came into the kitchen. "You are up early. You are leaving today?" He asked as he sat at the table.
"No, I had just returned some time ago and decided to make breakfast since it is morning," I said and could feel him taking a small sigh of relief.
I couldn"t help but feel guilty seeing that; I may not leave today or tomorrow, but I will leave soon.
The war is raging outside, and everybody will have to fight; there might come a day, even non-combat people like my father will also have to fight, but I will try with the last drop of my blood to prevent such day.
