“Mrs. You, I’ve given up the hobby since I slept with you.”
His Adam’s apple bobbed as You Ze looked significantly at Shiyao’s collarbone.
“Because I found my wife is the most skillful in bed.”
Watching You Ze approaching inch by inch, Shiyao was stunned.
She swore in a low voice frustrated, feeling her face was burning.
‘I’ve always been determined and wild. How come I easily give in to You Ze every time?’
Unexpectedly, You Ze was very gentle and considerate of Shiyao’s feeling this night, which gave her a new experience.
…
The next morning, Shiyao was woken up by the man’s pa.s.sionate gaze. You Ze stared at Shiyao with one hand holding his head, and the other running over her waist.
“Good morning,” his lazy voice was seductive. Shiyao buried her red face in the quilt, embarra.s.sed to meet You Ze’s eyes.
‘He is really a demon!’
After washing up leisurely, Shiyao opened the wardrobe, which was full of women’s clothes.
“Nana prepared for you yesterday.” You Ze blurted out in case Shiyao misunderstood him.
“Eh…oh.”
Shiyao awkwardly twisted her mouth, exclaiming that rich people were living a totally different life.
Downstairs at the dining table, Jiang Fengyi was enjoying her breakfast in a good mood and waiting for them.
“Old Sun, I’m going to have a great-grandson soon.”
Jiang Fengyi talked with the butler about her fantasy.
“They’d better have more children. Two boys and two girls are the best. Then our family will be lively.”
The butler was embarra.s.sed to look at the delighted Madam, and gave a little cough.
“Madam, didn’t you say that master and lady were not a love match for flash marriage?”
“Of course not! I eavesdropped on them at the door for a long time last night. They will have at least four children at this rate.”
Slowly walking downstairs holding You Ze’s arm, Shiyao heard Jiang Fengyi’s final sentence, and almost fell down the stairs.
“Ahem!”
“Why does Nana have such a hobby?”
Shiyao blushed, regretting that she didn’t suppress moaning last night.
“Get used to it,” You Ze said coldly. In spite of his apparent indifference, he was kind of helpless in heart.
He never thought that Nana should ever do so much!
“Come for breakfast. You must be tired last night.”
Jiang Fengyi hurriedly pushed all the food toward Shiyao and looked at her meaningfully, which made Shiyao lose her appet.i.te.
A few minutes later, Shiyao, for the reason of being late, pulled You Ze out quickly.
“Gosh!”
Shiyao patted her chest, ‘How can I live in the future?’ Having been free all the time, Shiyao didn’t want to be bound like this.
“I’ve told you to get used to it.”
Instead of being influenced, You Ze looked at ease, in a particularly good mood.
“Come on, get in the car.”
Shiyao looked at the red roadster in embarra.s.sment and couldn’t imagine what would happen if colleagues saw them.
“Eh…, You Ze, could you please tell no one that we’re married?”
“Why? Is it a shame to marry me?”
You Ze frowned discontentedly. He knew what Shiyao was worried about. Becoming Mrs. You would indeed bring her a lot of pressure. Nevertheless, he had never hidden his own women.
“No, it’s just…I can’t work in the company as usual.”
With her hands crossed over her chest, Shiyao looked at You Ze with puppy eyes.
“You know how much I like this job, so can we keep our marriage a secret for the moment?”
You Ze silently opened the door and stuffed Shiyao in the car.
Although You Ze didn’t answer, Shiyao knew that he had agreed. When there was still a distance from the company, Shiyao asked You Ze to drop her on the roadside, and then she grabbed a taxi.
It seemed not so bad to marry You Ze.
The morning delighted Shiyao with cool breeze and she couldn’t imagine what was ahead for her.
“Where is Shiyao?”
On arriving at the airport, Shiyao heard director’s deafening voice.
“Here, I’m here!”
Shiyao walked through the crowd to the director.
“Director, I’m not late today.”
Shiyao checked her watch and there was still two minutes.
“How dare she come?”
“Why not? She has done a thing like that, not to mention anything else.”
“A shameless b.i.t.c.h like her mother.”
As noisy argument reached her ears, Shiyao scowled.
“If anyone dares to insult my mother again, I’ll ripe your mouth.”
Everyone soon quieted down. Shiyao had always been easygoing, vivacious and enthusiastic, and rarely spoke so viciously except when someone offended her bottom line, mom.
“Enough! Shiyao, come with me!” the director shouted. Then she brought Shiyao into her office.
“Shiyao, you’ve gone too far this time!”
Shiyao looked at the director, puzzled, “Does everyone know the secret between her and You Ze?”
“Director, it’s not what you think….”
She was also a victim.
“It’s what? They’re coming for the company. You gonna tell me how to settle it!”
The director slapped a pile of paper down on the table.
“Look at it yourself!”
Completely confused, Shiyao picked up the report, gasping as she leafed through it.
As the report clearly put it, Ji Manqing had been pregnant for two months and the baby was stable and healthy.
But the next page was her Miscarriage Report.
It occurred to Shiyao that Ji Manqing’s face was pale with pain when she fell down at noon yesterday. Then Shiyao understood what was going on.
Had she known Ji Manqing was pregnant, she wouldn’t have left her alone.
“Director, I’m so sorry that I didn’t send her to hospital in time. But I’m not the one to blame.”
Although she regretted that Ji Manqing had lost her baby, she felt a little aggrieved by the comments of her colleagues outside.
“Not you? Who do you think should be to blame? If you hadn’t pushed her, how could she have lost her baby?”
The director pointed angrily at Shiyao’s nose and almost broke out yelling at her.
“She is the future daughter-in-law of Li’s family, who is in a fit of anger and requires you to be responsible for it. Otherwise, they will take the company to court. Shiyao, I always turn a blind eye to your troublemaking. How can you be out of line?”
The director kept rattling on for ten minutes, during which Shiyao stood in a daze all the time.
‘Ji Manqing lost her baby? I pushed her, so I’m to blame for that?’
‘c.r.a.p! I didn’t even touch her, ok?’
“Wait, director, are you mistaken? I didn’t push Ji Manqing,” Shiyao explained, enunciating each word.
Throwing mud at her was not always an easy thing.
