"Morning Aunt Su!" Mia greeted cheerfully as she saw Aunt Su preparing the breakfast on the dining table."Morning my dear! Come, let"s have breakfast first. We need to fill up our stomach before going for an adventure."
Mia approached the dining table while dancing happily. She was so excited for today"s visit as she couldn"t wait to start off her search. Probably she should officially put on a name to it. Her mind already started to work on the t.i.tle and one of the ideas was "GUESS WHO AM I". Haha LOL. As if she was a celebrity to have her own reality show.
Subconsciously she licked her dry lips when her eyes met the delicious breakfast cuisine that was prepared by Aunt Su. Her stomach grumbled upon the savoury smell and lightly she stroke her hungry stomach in circles. Her actions caused Aunt Su to chuckle softly as Aunt Su observed her carefully. Mia indeed was still a child. She didn"t know how to maintain an image of a graceful lady in front of food.
Aunt Su then walked closer to Mia and slightly nudged her to sit on the chair before putting in the breakfast into Mia"s plate.

"Eat. You can eat as much as you want. No need to hold on."
"Hehe..thank you, Aunt Su."
While both of them had a tasty breakfast, Mia also took the chance to ask about the orphanage they would visit today.
"Aunt Su, although I spent my childhood in this town, why I"ve never come across anything about this orphanage before? I even tried to google it last night but couldn"t find any info about it except its location."
"Oh really? Hurm... I also don"t know much about it. Your mother just briefly told me in the past and I also didn"t pry into it much. Don"t worry, we"ll find out today. Hold on your horses my dear. Don"t get too excited."
Aunt Su could see how excited this child to look for her true origin however she didn"t know if today"s visit would give this child the news she wanted. Let"s just pray for the best.
Soon after both of them finished filling up their stomach, Mia helped out to clean up the dishes as a token of appreciation for preparing the meal for her. She could not so shameless to act as a freeloader without doing anything. Afterwards, they both headed out to the orphanage where Lucy Wilson grew up. They hopped into Aunt Su"s car and with the help of the Waze, Mia keyed in the orphanage"s name - Little Paradise Home and in no second, the Waze gave out the directions to the said destination.
It took them around one hour and a half to reach there and the location was almost out of South West Land. They had to pa.s.s by a small forest before arrived at a long old wooden house near the riverbank. The sound of water flowing was so fresh to their ears as if it would clean up all the impurities in their ears at one blow and the environment itself gave out serenity to anyone there.
"h.e.l.lo, is anyone here?" Aunt Su went nearer to the house and announced their presence only to receive back the echo of her voice. Any visitor would know that the house was left unoccupied from the look of its surrounding. It was so quiet to the extent you could hear the wind blowing and the river flowing.
"Aunt Su, I don"t think got anyone lived here anymore. Probably they had closed it down a long time ago because of financial difficulties during mother"s time. That"s why I couldn"t find any info about this orphanage.
" Maybe. Let"s go around and see if we can find anything."
Mia nodded in agreement hence they both split up as to fasten their search. Mia began looking around the house starting from the right side of that small house and found broken windows along the trail of the house. From outside, she could see some of broken furniture and dust all over the place. Because of the front door was locked, she wanted to find another way to get in but seeing how sharp the broken gla.s.s looked like, could she manage to get in without cuts on her skins?
"Whatever. No pain, no gain." She murmured under her breath as she convinced herself.
Slowly she peered to one of the windows and using her right elbow, she implied slight force on it to break some of the window gla.s.ses as to make a hole fit for her body to sneak in. She carefully nudged on the sharp pieces before slipping through the hole and landed on the cracked floor.
"s.h.i.t." She cursed out when she realized how stupid her action was. The specks of dust on the floor got stuck on her white dress and she had torn some of the dress hems as they were grazing on the tips of the sharp gla.s.ses. On top of that, she prayed that no one had watched her breaking into the orphanage not due to the crime punishment awaiting for her for broking into unauthorized place but because of her short-sighted decision. No one would sneak into a house through broken window in a dress! Why couldn"t she think more thoroughly before doing something? Urghh... Whatever life still went on.
Continuing her so-called "Guess Who Am I" episode 1 adventure, Mia observed her surrounding and it turned out she was in a medium sized mysterious room. Probably it could be a dorm for the orphans that might fit several single beds or double-storey beds. There were several wooden cupboards arranged next to each other at each cover of the room and got long tables adjacent to the cupboards. The door room was left ajar with some spider webs hanging around it. There were nothing much about the room so she decided to exit the room and looked around other places.
By the door, there was a long hallway that connected to other rooms and the room she entered just now was at the end of the hall. From her current position, she could see a lot of small size of photo frames neatly hanging on the wall. Like a museum tour, she walked slowly and observed the photos one by one.
