What surprised Meng Fan was how Showta Takas.h.i.+maya didn"t seem to mind . If anything, he looked at Meng Fan apologetically . Instead, the other j.a.panese man on the trip, Hideo Ohno, not only seemed arrogant; he also acted antagonistic toward Meng Fan .

Meng Fan noticed that Hideo Ohno"s girlfriend, a white girl named Elisa, checked him out at first, then only paid attention to Hideo Ohno . Among everyone in the group, Elisa was the most excited and lively . It was obvious that they were a new couple, and Elisa really liked Hideo Ohno .

Hideo Ohno shouldn"t be angry toward him for that, right?

Meng Fan was a fan of a.s.sembly kits . In American comics, the hottest a.s.sembly kit collectibles are Iron Man and Transformers . After Meng Fan looked around, he saw many products which were different from what he had at home, so he was tempted .

"Do you like Transformers, too?"

Soon, Showta Takas.h.i.+maya noticed what Meng Fan was buying and asked with curiosity .

His Chinese wasn"t fluent, so he used a lot of j.a.panese and English words instead . Luckily, Meng Fan knew the two other languages a little bit and they were able to communicate .

With this brief and somewhat inconvenient exchange, Showta Takas.h.i.+maya realized Meng Fan was a fan of Transformers, so he appeared to be much more excited to talk to Meng Fan .

When they came out of the store, Showta Takas.h.i.+maya and Elisa wanted to look for the other people . Minako Sakurai wanted to see the Minions in another attraction and use the chance to get closer to Meng Fan . Meng Fan had no objections .

After they walked a bit, Meng Fan used the virtual projector screen to open the black technology microphone he added to Showta Takas.h.i.+maya"s watch . After he linked it to his black technology earbuds, he could clearly hear conversations on Showta Takas.h.i.+maya"s side . He then happily went with Minako Sakurai to look for Minions .

The reason he chose the watch was because a watch is worn on the body . The object was obviously his favorite, so he would wear it all the time . It was perfect for carrying a surveillance device, since even a cell phone wasn"t always carried on the body .

He did want to observe Showta Takas.h.i.+maya, but rus.h.i.+ng would not be useful here . Looking too eager would be bad for his purpose . As long as he could eavesdrop constantly, he has reached his goal .

"He"s not here?!"

When Elisa didn"t find Hideo Ohno at the coffee shop, she was very unhappy . She pursed her lips .

A flicker of hatred flashed across Showta Takas.h.i.+maya"s eyes . His face remained pa.s.sive . When he saw their calls went nowhere, he told Elisa, "Maybe it"s a signal problem . Don"t worry, wait here and I"ll get you some coffee . "

After he ordered coffee, he returned to talk to Elisa . "How about this? I"ll go look for them . I"ll be back in ten minutes no matter what . "

Elisa was grateful . "Thank you . "

Showta Takas.h.i.+maya finally had time to move alone . He sped up and walked toward an attraction called "Ancient Egypt . " Soon, he found what he was looking for and walked into a "shrine . "

He saw a string of numbers which only he understood . His chest started heaving .

"This is the time?"

Showta Takas.h.i.+maya learned it was going to be the flight on the evening of the 13th . He was the mechanic for this flight . He also knew Hideo Ohno was supposed to be the a.s.sistant pilot on this flight, with s.h.i.+no s.h.i.+buya as a flight attendant .

"Perfect! Now I can send this d.a.m.n couple to h.e.l.l!"
