(A/N sorry for a bit of a shortage yesterday i pretty much just took some allergy medicine then f.u.c.ked off to sleep all day or watched mortal kombat and old school ninja turtles.) over the next few months we hunkered down and fortified the base. Sirius even came in useful with coming up with some deadly zombie traps. We had improved upon the pit traps by using metal blades attached to motors which where wired to generators so we could turn on a basic spinning death trap. The whole area outside the base was basically just a giant death trap filled with explosives, sprinklers filled with flammable liquids, holes of death, barbed wire covered in hooks it was f.u.c.king nasty.
The outer wall was filled with homemade flame throwers and had mounted turrets. Soldiers where stationed on each wall 24/7.
We had been actually getting a slow increase of survivors. Most of them just lucky people we only had a few military personnel. The rules where strict but everyone followed them when they saw fortified walls loaded down with armed men and women.
They lived between the second and first wall in nice little houses. of course there was some discontent but there"s always going to be some. It was explained how I"d rather have them outside then have to worry about umbrella Corp sabotage.
We haven"t intercepted like any umbrella transmissions I have no idea what"s going on.
The weather has been absolutely f.u.c.ked we had to build more greenhouses as plants kept dying. One day it would be scorching hot, the next freezing cold. 100% caused by nuclear destruction just messing up everything.
we had almost been hit by nukes ourselves but I was able to deconstruct things that flew into my territory before detonation. I"m pretty sure most of the area outside the base is just nuclear wasteland at this point. Trips for supplies took longer and longer.
I was pretty much just stuck in the base playing uno until one day I get the notification of another horde incoming. I happily headed up to the base walls followed by my new bodyguard I had gotten through one of my summon tokens.
She had purple hair and looked like a high school student her name was Saeko Busujima. The hot slightly crazy girl from highschool of the dead she will get along perfectly with unohana as they have a ma.s.sive love for battle and bloodl.u.s.t the way to win her over was quite easy just give her a sword and go on a killing spree with her.
Sirens in the base where already blaring people where firing up the turrets and generators for the spinning blades.
Looking out towards the ma.s.sive wave of zombies coming towards us they didn"t look so good. There where some with melting flesh, some missing limbs, a few mutated ones, it was kind of like a gross grow your own zombie farm.
All the sleeping soldiers and volunteers where up and armed and on the wall within minutes. the gates where opened for the tank to roll out and then closed and locked down.
Time quickly ticked down as they got closer and closer. Alice, Saeko, Jill, and Sirius where all behind my waiting and watching. There was some kind of weird rivalry between the women like trying to prove who the better killer or something was.
Soon the zombies reached the first defenses which where the barbed wire. Bullets started to tear through the air. That"s when the zombies got frantic and their speed just skyrocketed.
Barbed wire started biting into zombie bodies who where being pushed from behind and ripped apart. Soon however they pulled the trip wires which where attatched to barrels full of oils and goop that where either sticky or slimy and it started pouring out over the fields before it flamed up it a myriad of different colors and the barrels started to explode.
The smell of fumes and burnt flesh started to float over to the wall and we all had put on special masks as I don"t know what burning radiative zombies will do to the lungs.
The big mutated zombies that tried to rip through the barbed defenses where gunned down by turrets manned by sharpshooters. If you let the big ones get momentum it"s not good so they where targeted first.
Soon however, they inevitably made it through the barbed wire. Right into a mine field explosions filled the air along with dirt and dust.
We watched from the walls as anti take mines blew large craters into the field taking out ma.s.sive chunks of zombies.
Is there a thing such as too much explosives? Nope. Hundreds of explosions, thousands, the demo man was laughing while shooting a grenade launcher into the horde and I was kind of jealous. Until someone pa.s.sed me one as well then there where multiple cackles of mad laughter and explosions ringing off the wall.
Anything that made it through was turned into swiss cheese by auto turrets who were being loaded by soldiers if they ran out of ammo. If it was anything we had an abundance of it was ammo.
It was about 20 minutes nonstop of explosions even the zombies looked kind of iffy about going forward at this point. But being brain dead idiots they just kept going.
Sprinklers started spewing out more flame able goop and now we had running flaming zombies. Right before the ground dropped out from under them into a blender of metal blades.
At this point we had already started making a major dent in the numbers. Being well prepared and having more than 4 people and hand guns is so much better. I had brought up the menu and anytime a pit would fill up with bodies I"d turn it into meat cubes. Can"t have clogged up death traps.
