“I need to use Haref Lancelot for something.”
That was Salsaal’s explanation but it seemed like I made a disapproval expression, he added some details, “I have to use Haref to retrieve the thing which will help me get out from my captivity”.
“Don’t worry”, Calis who was looking after Nigel smiled, “They’ve only fainted and Nigel’s blood is fake. We had to do this to scare Haref and make him inhale a considerable amount of black magic mist…I don’t dare harm someone who could potentially be my second husband…”.
Calis’ mumbles made me still. “Don’t you dare molest Nigel!”.
“It’s difficult…from what I’ve touched, he’s extremely handsome.”
“Doujinshi!”
“…Fine, fine! Anyways, I’m still the most loyal to Salsaal!”
The Prince scrunched his brows together as if he was not glad at how loyal Calis is, “I want to control Haref Lancelot so, I had to make him inhale as much black magic mist as possible since his powers of light are able to resist mine…”.
I opened my mouth to say something but decided to keep it shut in the end, “Well…it’s not dangerous right?”.
Salsaal scrunched his brows together, his ruby coloured eyes shook a little, he said flatly, “It’s not dangerous, and…”.
“Hm?”
“Aren’t you gonna curse at me or tell me off at all?”
“Huh?”, I widened my eyes and looked at the Prince who was making a gesture of irritation.
“Don’t you want to curse at me?”, the Prince crossed his arms, “I’m selfish, I attacked someone in your area, I used black magic within the area leading to those two becoming suspicious, this might affect your household, I’m stirring up trouble, I’m doing a wicked thing, I have a bad personality…that’s why, don’t you think that you should curse at me?”.
So you know you’re a despicable b.a.s.t.a.r.d…
I looked skeptically at Salsaal, “…Ummm, Salsaal so do you actually like to be cursed at? You want me to curse at you? Salsaal, could it be that you’re actually a m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.t*?”.
The Prince hissed at me, “Obviously not!”.
“And?”
“Dammit!!…Calis! How can we get there! Right now we’ve secure Haref Lancelot and for Nigel Gawain…let’s just bring him along incase!”, Salsaal turned to order Calis, who smiled sweetly and placed Nigel down gently then he proceeded to carry out the Prince’s orders.
Calis did something similar to moving a part of a mechanism. I can’t describe it but in the blink of an eye, we saw a small pa.s.sage appearing in front of us. Salsaal’s mood visibly improved, he floated in while Haref and Nigel’s body moved along with Salsaal’s black thread.
“A secret pa.s.sage?”, I mumbled to myself, was there such a thing as a secret pa.s.sage at the back of my house? But when I think about it, anything’s possible since Ca.s.s Bedivere, the protagonist, is living in my house.
“Yes, Salsaal and I have explored around for a while before we found this pa.s.sage.”, Calis dragged me in, “We’ve already destroyed all the traps and mechanisms in here but we encountered a problem, ‘that thing’ would not accept Salsaal and form what I’ve deduced, the person who’s most likely to get accepted by ‘that thing’ is Haref”.
‘That thing’ which he spoke of is probably something that can help Salsaal escape from his house…
“Actually…you should try telling Salsaal off”, Calis smiled. “It shows intimacy when you tell someone off because they’ve down something wrong and it shows that you’re interested in that person…Salsaal doesn’t have that many friends and I think he wants to be friends with you…although his method may be rather violent…”.
“…”
“Even though I ship SalCa.s.s or SalRef but a 3P of SalGilRef, I’m also ok with that, hahaha!!”
Oh…stupid little girl…
I’m not ok!

We walk for a while before Salsaal scrunched his brows together and stopped walking.
“They’re waking up…”, the Prince murmured and waved his hand, “These guys aren’t weak like that idiot, my spindle magic isn’t working right on them either…just a bit more and we would’ve reached our destination.”.
‘That idiot’s’ (a.k.a. me) eyebrow twitched…be careful Prince, the next donjinshi will be RefSal! ( TN: if you don’t get it it’s Haref as the top and Salsaal as the bottom )
“There shouldn’t be any problems with the Prince’s spirit since they’re not strong enough to see the great sir. For me…ummm…should I go into hiding?”
Salsaal glanced at Haref and looked at me, “You can hide but this idiot can’t, the outcome would still be the same and we have to use him…let’s just trick them into picking ‘that thing’ up!”
Calis raised him eyebrows and smiled delightfully, “Ummm…can I seduce them?”.
The corner of Salsaal’s mouth twitched, it seems like Calis has still got full confidence that he’s got the appearance of a pretty uke, “If…they’re interested, then do it!”.
“Wait for my marriage invitation!”
He said confidently, stared and waited for both Mr populars to regain their consciousness…and the person who woke up first was…
Crash!
“Wow, wow, wow, you’re so violent Nigel.”
Calis cried out when an ice spear which was supposed to pierce his body came apart. Nigel lowered his argent eyes coldly, he murmured and whistled at Calis’ defence, “From an ice spear to an absolute zero spell…you’re probably thinking of binding me, oh, a small blizzard isn’t half bad either”.
I didn’t really understand what Calis was saying but the scene in front of me reminded me of one of those online fantasy games because the whole floor was turned into a skating rink while snow descended, and naturally, this is no normal snow…
“Just touching the snow around here would freeze you, it seems he’d casted two spells on top of each other, are you planning to kill…”, Calis muttered, “But, whatever…”.
Crash!
Like Nigel’s ice spear, when Calis waved his hand, everything immediately broke into tiny pieces like gla.s.s.
“Someone who follows me isn’t a weakling…”, the Prince smiled in triumph before flinching a little when he looked at me, “well, except for you”.
…Fine.
No, I’ve not even decided which faction I’d join in the future! You can’t force me, don’t you dare force me!
“Merlin…”, Nigel lowered his eyes, he glanced at me and looked back at Calis, “…and Bedivere…what are you trying to do, treason?”.
“Obviously not, we are still forever loyal to Arthur…”, a staff longer than his head appeared in Calis’ empty hand.
“Then why are you harming us.”
“…My boyfrie…I believe there’s no need for you to know the reason, right?”, Calis smiled.
“Ah…”, Nigel was silent for a moment, he lowered his stance and became calm like the normal Nigel, “…whatever”.
At first, I thought everything was going to end but when my hand and back fell onto the floor, I could hear ‘crack!’ of something entering my mind along with Nigel’s smiled, an evil smile.
“Because the role of interrogation…that’s not mine.”
Haref Lancelot…
His white hair and rainbow coloured eyes glowed, the coldness of the metal at my neck reminded me of a truth, even more when the other playfully smiled…
“I warned you to run away…Gilbert…
before I kill you.”
Run away…that word of yours.
It wasn’t to warn me to run away from the culprit but to run away from you?!!
The sword you gave me was just for fair play right?!!
How could I even think he’s protagonist.
This is clearly a vengeance seeking villain!!

Gilbert: “Um…I would probably take the other’s height into account? If they’re taller than 160, I won’t feel a think!”
Gilbert: “But if they were to be shorter than that, I’ll hug their legs, cry and beg for her to stay…”
Salsaal: “You dare leave me?! Huh! Kill!”
Calis: “Haha, if the other isn’t Salsaal, I won’t care! But if the other was Salsaal, I’ll hug their legs and beg for him to not abandon me…”
Haref: “Hm…what would you do if a prey escaped from its hunter?”
Haref: “The answer is to ‘hunt’ them, ‘hunt’ them until they become tamed.”
