"Regiment Commander what would you like done?" A male soldier asked as he stood erect in front of a giant oak desk. The blinds were drawn, little to no light came in, a man sat in the chair behind the desk. His eyes were glowing a golden colour even in the dark atmosphere, he pulled out a lighter and lit a report that was in his hands. The fire illuminated his facial features, it caused the male soldier to shudder as the fire danced. He then threw the burning pile of papers into a metal trans bin by his desk. He had read the report multiple times, hoping that the words were only an illusion, a figment of his imagination but to his horror the words never changed. He didn"t want it to exist anymore, he didn"t want to exist anymore. "Shatter their souls." The man said in a death like tone. "Yes sir!" The male soldier replied with a salute before leaving the office.
The man at the desk pulled open the bottom drawer and pulled out a flask. He looked at the flask for a moment, feeling the cold metal against his fingertips. It had been a long time since he held a flask, to be exact it had been five years. He was practically drowning in despair but he knew that he had to push forward. He often took out his flask so that he could dull his senses and cause his own death when he was out on missions.
However a smiling face burried deep within his subconscious always surfaced when he stood in front of death"s door. He could never truly allow himself to die, not when he had so much explaining to do. During his last mission as as an ordinary soldier he swore that he would climb the ranks and gain power. He would never be under anyone"s thumb again.
The young Regiment Commander started to laugh coldly, the volume of his laugh started to increase as the seconds ticked by. He brought one hand to his face and covered his eyes. "I am such a coward." He said to himself. Tears started to spill from his eyes and slipped past his hand barricade. In a fit of fury he chucked the flask across the room, making it collide against the wall but it wasn"t enough.
He stood up and swepped his whole desk with his right arm, sending everything to the floor. Everything fell and broke as it impacted the ground. It still wasn"t enough. He lifted his leg and front kicked his desk with so much force that the oak desk slide across the room then toppled over with a heavy thud.
An insane glint shone in his eyes. This was all his fault and no one else. He wished he could have gone back to that night when he and his family decorated the house for Christmas....
.....
Ushi stood just outside of Kyomi"s room, he stood to the side, out of sight of the girls. He was worried about Kyomi"s reaction. He didn"t want to believe she was actually in love with someone else but then again she had been acting weird.
To his horror he found out the secret that Kyomi had been hiding. Ushi had repeatedly tried to ask her what was wrong but every time he opened his mouth the words seemed to get stuck in his throat. He knew deep down it was an answer he could not handle. Now that the truth was out he became blind with rage.
Ushi wasn"t sure how he left the house, he couldn"t even remember how he found his way to the Su family estate but his rage gave him power he never knew he had. He placed his hands on the cold, iron gate and started to climb. It was pitch black that night and it had seemed that the guards had left for their rounds. The moment that Ushi"s feet touched the ground he knew there was no turning back.
He bolted forward and raced himself to the front door of the estate. The moment he reached the door he started to pound the door with his fists. "Kei! Get your a.s.s out here! Kei!" Ushi shouted at the top of his lungs. He wasn"t sure how long he had been pounding the door but soon the guards showed up. They tried to restrain Ushi but he fought them off with ease. Ushi stood tall as he looked down at the pile of unconscious people laying at his feet.
He then turned back to the door and saw that it opened abruptly. Bodyguards started to spill out. Ushi fought every single one that came his way, his breathing started to become winded but he found the strength to keep fighting. "Enough. He"s harmless now." A cold voice called out. The bodyguards started to back off. Ushi stood slightly hunched over, his breathing had become erratic and sweat rolled off his face.
"Ushi, I thought some mad man wondered on to my family"s property." Kei said with a small chuckle. "Murderer." Ushi said breathlessly. Kei narrowed his eyes as he looked at Ushi. "Well that"s a new one. Shouldn"t you be here to congratulate me on getting a girlfriend, even though she"s your sister there shouldn"t be any hard feelings between us." Kei said with an aloof look.
"MURDERER!" Ushi shouted angrily. Kei walked towards Ushi, he keep his gaze locked on him then scoffed. In one swift movement Kei punched Ushi in the solar plex. Ushi"s eyes widen because of the pain. He doubled over Kei"s fist, Kei chuckled again as he pulled back his arm. Ushi dropped to his knees then started to vomit. "Careful Ushi I have a reputation to uphold. I don"t know what you heard but I can guarentee you that you are mistaken." Kei said as he took a few steps back.
Ushi wiped his mouth with his sleeve. He brought his gold coloured eyes upwards and looked at Kei with pure disdain. "Murderer." He said with an overly strained voice. "Well since you won"t listen to reason let"s go inside and settle this in a civilized manner." Kei said as he signaled his bodyguards to drag Ushi inside.
