2409 The Domineering Valentines Day (10)

Huo Mian’s imagination went wild. She started imagining someone buying roses in hopes of buying low and selling high.

“No,” Qin Chu responded nonchallantly.

“Um… Okay. Pretend that I didn’t say anything.” She noticed Qin Chu wasn’t interested in this topic, so she didn’t go on. After one hour by car, they finally reached a manor in the suburbs.

“Honey, why are we here? Is this a farmyard-themed restaurant? Are we farming or are we fis.h.i.+ng?” Huo Mian said when she saw the village-like scenery. She had no clue what Qin Chu was up to.

“Come with me…” Qin Chu parked the car. Then he held Huo Mian’s hand towards the manor.

“Mr. Qin, welcome,” a man in his 40s greeted Qin Chu when he saw them approaching.

“Do you have everything ready?” Qin Chu asked.

“Everything’s ready. Mr. Qin and Mrs. Qin can go right in.”

“Okay.” Qin Chu nodded. He held Huo Mian’s hand and walked inside.

Huo Mian saw a pretty simple manor, and they were walking on a narrow and dark path.

If Qin Chu wasn’t there, Huo Mian would be a bit scared.

“Honey, where are we going? This place is scary…” Huo Mian whispered.

Qin Chu didn’t say anything. Instead, he continued to lead her ahead.

After turning a few times and walking for around five minutes, the room lightened up.

Huo Mian saw a beautiful gla.s.s door. However, there were hanging vines all over the gla.s.s door, so she couldn’t see what was inside.

Qin Chu slowly led Huo Mian towards the gla.s.s door and stopped walking forward.

“Why aren’t we going in?” Huo Mian asked.

“Mian, guess what’s inside.”

“Um, a vegetable garden? The type where ifs organic and you can pick your own vegetables or fruits,” Huo Mian guessed as there were many of those types of pick-your-own-vegetables gardens nearby. Pudding and Little Bean enjoyed these places so they often went to pick different types of fruits, such as strawberries and tomatoes.

Huo Mian thought Qin Chu bought one of the pick-your-own farmyards and wanted her opinion on it.

When Qin Chu heard Huo Mian’s response, he chuckled.

“Close your eyes. I’ll lead you in.”

“So mysterious. Do we need to though?” Huo Mian thought it was strange.

“Yes. Close your eyes,” Qin Chu ordered her as if she was a little child.

“Fine, fine… I’ll dose my eyes.”

Huo Mian couldn’t win the argument so she slowly closed her eyes.

Qin Chu slowly pushed open the door and led Huo Mian in.

One step at a time, they walked forward, hand in hand.

After around 30 steps, Qin Chu picked the perfect location and stopped.

He said in a gentle voice, “Mian, you can open your eyes now.”

Huo Mian slowly opened her eyes. Suddenly, she was shocked by what she saw before her.

In front of her eyes was a sea of roses.

In the middle were blue roses. Surrounding the blue roses were pink roses. Then there were champagne roses. Finally, there were blooming red roses everywhere.

They were on top of a platform where they could see a sea of flowers.

This… was actually a gigantic rose garden.

She was deceived by the simple and crude building front and thought it was just a pick-your-own farmyard.

Who knew it could be hiding such a paradise.

“Why are there so many… so many roses?” Huo Mian was so surprised that she couldn’t speak properly.

Qin Chu stood behind her and hugged her by her waist. He whispered by her ears gently, “I bought all the roses on the market and planted them here. Today, you’re the only one with roses.”

Huo Mian was so touched that tears rolled in her eyes.
