Chapter 6: Arrival at School and a GhostA group of first-year wizards took the train under the leadership of a senior student of the school, then rushed to the brightly lit main building. (Prefects?)
Benjamin looked at the smiles on the boys’ faces and listened to them discussing which House they were going to be placed in. Benjamin’s face was disgusted.
He hates the noises and these children, because the children here are too difficult to control.
“Hey, Ludwig, how do you look very uncomfortable look.” Crabbe with a worried look while seeing Benjamin.
Benjamin apparently did not care about other people’s worries, in fact, he only need to find a quiet place to rest for a while just fine.
“A freshman, come on!” Cried a tall man over there, and Benjamin recognized him at once, who had once appeared with the one who lived (Harry Potter). The giant Hagrid.
If you can use the body of the giant to refining the souls of the pure… Benjamin never give up this wonderful idea. Perhaps he can go to consult his parents, kill this Hogwarts professor, Will I break the law doing so?
I hope the church of this world is not as close as the one I had been in before!
Draco saw Benjamin’s eyes on Hagrid not so friendly, with a sense of like-minded, so happily went to Benjamin’s side.
“Benjamin, that man is Hagrid, a nasty monster! I mean, how can Dumbledore make this man a professor!”
Benjamin nodded noncommittal, so that the descendants of an evil giant when the professor, the legendary princ.i.p.als touches caused his interest. He actually hired a giant for a professor. It seems that this is not the norm of this world.
They sat on the ship and went on through the Black Lake to the castle door. Both calm as they journeyed to the castle.
At the castle door, the group knocked three times. A tall black woman who wore a green robe opened the door. Her posture was straight and her expression was solemn.
As usual there is a few welcome words, and then she led them to an empty room.
Half-way, Benjamin has been watching around, he saw talking murals, this is surely a fancy novelty. (Talking Paintings).
“Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for our new students to carry out the school ceremony … …”
Yes, Professor McGonagall told the group of kids that they were the same.
Benjamin cannot believe it, he took advantage of leisure time and even read the school history, there is a House called Hufflepuff which seems to have been at the bottom.
As for the people are not all into the fool, he did not know.
“Well, children, you are here to prepare, branch ceremony immediately began.”
Seems to be because of Professor McGonagall’s departure, the original hidden ghosts are filed out, and then they saw a pair of deep bottomless eyes.
“Oh, dear, I should have felt like a terrible newborn in my first year!” cried Peeves, a screaming ghost, and uttered the voices of most of his companions.
So ready to scare the new students, but all the ghosts had suddenly disappeared.
Everyone was whispering, and many of them saw the ghosts for the first time, all very excited.
And like Draco who was from a wizarding family, but it is thinking from the words of Peeves ghost. They ghosts will run out the freshman?
I had known that Peeves was afraid of Dumbledore.
No one doubted to Benjamin, who had been considered a squeaker a few days ago. The other students did not havt impression of him.
In fact, in addition to Pansy and others were deterred by Benjamin, the impres
sion on him has changed, most people think he would be a Hufflepuff. (He acted weirdly to them)
Benjamin curiously stroked his chin, he has not seen a long time of death, and even the skeletons are not.
While seeing the specter of course he is excited, But these ghosts are so afraid of him. It can be really interesting.
Is it in the refining process when the material or a problem?
As a highly respected experimental Necromancer,
Benjamin really want to rush to catch a ghost to study.
Of course, he also needs a body, refining the specter of the steps is not to extract the soul out, and then pollution?
Think of it to feel interesting.
“Kids, come with me,” Professor McGonagall returned to the room, leading the first-year freshmen out.
This year Pippi ghosts did not have trouble, Professor McGonagall did not put this thing in mind.
A group of people came to the hall, saw candles floating in the air, see the luxury tableware, see the stars in the ceiling.
“s.p.a.ce magic? Really clever.” Benjamin said with interest, he deliberately lowered his voice, in order to have been followed by his platinum n.o.bility to hear.
Then Professor McGonagall put a four-legged bench and a dirty hat in front of them.
Benjamin suspected that the hat had not been washed for centuries.
“This is the Sorting hat.” A girl next to Harry Potter said. She did not look that pretty and Draco said she should be one of the Mudbloods.
Benjamin would not say these vulgar words to her personally right now.
“I’ll call your name, children, and you will put the hat on. Don’t worry, it will not kill you.” Apparently, Professor McGonagall’s comfort did not help much. A few of the children looked pretty nervous.
The dirty looking hat suddenly began singing a strange song.
Oh you may not think I’m pretty,
I’ll eat myself if you can find
You can keep your bowlers black,
For I’m the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
There’s nothing hidden in your head
So try me on and I will tell you
You might belong in Gryffindor,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
Where those of wit and learning,
Or perhaps in Slytherin
Those cunning folks use any means
So put me on! Don’t be afraid!
You’re in safe hands (though I have none)
For I’m a Thinking Cap!
“Benjamin frowned, although he did not understand the music, but does not mean he did not have a pair of sound ears. It sounded strange to him.
“It’s hard to listen to, but the lyrics are pretty good,” Draco said.
Benjamin thought, I do not know if Draco is a sincere friend, or unscrupulous to achieve a good goal, and estimated that he is the latter.
“Benjamin Ludwig!”
