Luo Yu typically woke up early. He heard rustling noises at the foot of his bed, so immediately opened his eyes and sat up, only to see Su Jiawen who had rolled himself into a fetal position and was sleeping under the bed. He recalled that he had kicked the other off his bed last night, so ignored him.

Luo Yu made his way upstairs again after a morning run and arrived just in time to see Su Jiawen sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

Upon seeing Luo Yu enter the room, Su Jiawen clung onto the edge of the bed and nervously greeted him. "Mr. Luo, good morning."

Luo Yu saw that he had very quickly gotten into his new role, meaning he didn"t need to spend extra time teaching him. He nodded and headed off to shower.

When Luo Yu walked out, Su Jiawen was still seated, but this time on the bed. He seemed to be waiting for Luo Yu. Luo Yu"s tone wasn"t very good as he asked, "What?"

"Mr. Luo, what should I wear?" Su Jiawen inquired.

These trivial matters weren"t things Luo Yu had to worry about. He pressed the buzzer at the head of his bed; mere seconds later, the housekeeper knocked on the door and entered. Luo Yu pointed at Su Jiawen with his chin. "Prepare some clothes for him."

The housekeeper nodded and left. Luo Yu turned around to look at Su Jiawen, agreeing that it wouldn"t be right for him to walk around in only a bathrobe. Thus, he chose a t-shirt he had for golfing and a pair of shorts from his closet and threw them at Su Jiawen. "Wear this today."

Luo Yu himself changed into a suit. Su Jiawen kept mumbling, wanting to talk to him, but Luo Yu simply pretended he couldn"t hear. He told Su Jiawen, "Be good and listen to the housekeeper. You"re not allowed to leave the house."

Su Jiawen could only nod and say he knew.

Before leaving, the housekeeper waited by the door for Luo Yu. He casually reminded, "The little thing in my room, don"t let him go anywhere."

The housekeeper nodded. Luo Yu kindly added, "Also, don"t let him get too cold or hungry."

When he reached his company, Luo Yu received a call from his father, asking him what he was busy with recently.

Luo Yu"s ident.i.ty was very sensitive. The Luo family had originally been the Yu family, but because of some events in years prior, they had to move from the capitol to Ping City, where Luo Yu took up the mantle of doing business. Later on, his dad took his mom to Europe, making occasional trips back to the capitol to spend time with his old friends.

The purpose of this call was to have Luo Yu visit someone.

Luo Yu thus made an impromptu visit to the capitol, spending the afternoon playing golf with his dad and an elder he hadn"t seen in a while. He still had plans in Ping City for the evening, so flew back before dinner.

When he finally got home, it was already midnight.

The housekeeper was still loyally waiting for him by the door. Luo Yu threw his coat at the housekeeper and went upstairs alone to bathe.

After showering, he didn"t feel sleepy anymore. Thus, Luo Yu headed downstairs, wanting to get some fresh air. He coincidentally managed to catch Su Jiawen sneakily looking for milk to drink in the kitchen.

Su Jiawen had surrept.i.tiously opened the fridge. Half his head was blocked by the refrigerator door.
There were several types of fresh milk inside. He was in the middle of choosing which type to drink when a large hand landed on his shoulder. Luo Yu leaned in close to question by his ear, "What are you doing?"

Su Jiawen shook with fright. He turned around to look at Luo Yu. "Mr. Luo."

Luo Yu lowered his arm and turned on the lights in the kitchen. Su Jiawen was wearing cotton pajamas and standing obediently with a box of milk in his hands.

"I wanted to drink some milk," Su Jiawen said.

Luo Yu sat on the edge of the dinner table. "Next time you don"t need to keep the lights off. Seems suspicious."

Su Jiawen nodded and fished a small milk pot out from somewhere in the kitchen. He turned his head to ask Luo Yu, "Does Mr. Luo want some too?"

Luo Yu realized this person wasn"t very wary of strangers – he had even dug out the milk pot. Thus he answered, "I"ll have a cup."

Su Jiawen turned on the fire and waited until the milk was bubbling, then poured out two cups and walked over with them.

Luo Yu hadn"t drank a lot of milk since he had become an adult; the fresh milk at home was for the cook to make desserts with. But when Su Jiawen handed it to him, he felt that there was no difference between drinking a cup of warm milk at night and drinking a gla.s.s of wine.

A home should seem more like a home.

After drinking the milk, Luo Yu brought Su Jiawen upstairs. Su Jiawen was still walking weirdly. Luo Yu gazed at Su Jiawen"s face filled with baby fat and ordered him to give him a b.l.o.w.j.o.b.

Su Jiawen"s skills weren"t that great, but he was a fast learner. Luo Yu came in his mouth and he obediently swallowed.

Luo Yu stared at him for a long time before telling him to go rinse his mouth out.

Su Jiawen stumbled off to do so. After he finished, he walked out and asked Luo Yu, "Then I"ll head down now, Mr. Luo?"

Luo Yu didn"t know why he gestured for Su Jiawen to come over. "Warm my bed tonight."

Su Jiawen wasn"t much of a bedwarmer, but he was a peaceful sleeper and never made any sudden movements when unconscious. Luo Yu turned off the lights and the two fell asleep amicably.

Halfway through the night, Luo Yu felt hot and reached a hand out to grab at something. His grasp coincidentally fell upon a cold wrist and he thus tugged Su Jiawen into his embrace. That night, Luo Yu slept exceptionally well.

Just like that, Su Jiawen moved into Luo Yu"s room. He never spent the night in his guest room again.

Luo Yu wasn"t home during the day so didn"t know how Su Jiawen got along with the waitstaff in his home, but he knew Su Jiawen was friends with his dog and horses.

Luo Yu"s dog was a Canary Mastiff. It was vicious and liked picking fights. Only Luo Yu and the housekeeper, both who had fed him since he was a pup, could control him. Normally he was kept in the enclosed s.p.a.ce of the empty area north of the garden.

When Su Jiawen arrived at Luo Yu"s home, he didn"t leave the house for a whole week. One night, Luo Yu regained his conscience and asked if Su Jiawen wanted to go for a walk with him.

Su Jiawen finally had the chance to wear normal clothes and head outside.

Luo Yu took him up north. They walked a few steps before the Canary Mastiff off in the distance caught the scent of humans and started barking like mad.

"Abel, no barking." Luo Yu didn"t want to scare Su Jiawen, so commanded his dog to stop.

The Canary Mastiff had undergone extensive training and was very obedient. As soon as Luo Yu"s voice sounded, he really stopped barking. His nose twitched through the fence as he stared at Su Jiawen.
Su Jiawen scooted closer and looked at the Canary Mastiff from the other side of the railing. He
smiled, then gently said, "It"s a little doggie."

Luo Yu furrowed his brows and glanced at Su Jiawen. He had never heard anyone say a Canary Mastiff was a doggie. Though the Canary Mastiff wasn"t the ugliest among the hunting dogs, it certainly wasn"t the best looking. Abel was purebred and had brown-black fur with pointed ears; he was fairly large and seemed in all aspects to be an evil dog.

Before he could say anything, Su Jiawen directly stuck his hand through the fence and patted Abel"s head. He said, "Sit."

Thus, Luo Yu"s vicious Canary Mastiff obediently sat down and made a "wu" sound at Su Jiawen, obviously trying to make a good impression…

Luo Yu was surprised. Su Jiawen turned around and smiled at him, then said, "If I say it, Mr. Luo might not believe me, but I"m very fated with little animals."

Canary Mastiffs were very sensitive to smell. Their abilities to detect and predict danger were far better than humans".

It wasn"t until a long time later that Luo Yu realized, Abel"s good behavior hadn"t been because of that mysterious fate, but because the person next to him carried the unmistakable scent of blood on him. It was the smell of someone who had killed his way through a pit of dead people.

After they strolled through the garden once, Luo Yu brought Su Jiawen back inside. Su Jiawen had a homey feel about him; Luo Yu had even started making more of an effort to come home these days.

He held Su Jiawen"s hand as they walked. Su Jiawen asked him, "Can I come and see Abel again?"

Luo Yu agreed, but not before seizing this opportunity to take advantage of him first.

Another few days later, Su Jiawen brought up the matter of horses with Luo Yu.

"Mr. Luo, I saw horses in the back of the mountain." Before bed, Su Jiawen leaned into Luo Yu"s ear and secretly told him.

Luo Yu owned the large area of land and half the mountain behind his house. There, he had set up a small horse racing course and stables to keep his three racehorses.

"You want to go riding?" Luo Yu asked him.

He also hadn"t gone horseback riding in a long time. Coincidentally, one of his friends from the capitol was coming to Hong Kong for some business and would be visiting him tomorrow. He also liked horses and had brought up wanting to see Luo Yu"s babies.

Su Jiawen inquired, "Will it be a lot of work?"

Luo Yu answered seriously. "Yes, it will."

Su Jiawen knew Luo Yu was joking with him, but played along anyways. "What should I do then?"

Luo Yu"s hand slipped inside Su Jiawen"s shirt and squeezed his nipples. Su Jiawen"s body was sensitive, so as soon as Luo Yu touched his nipples, his entire body went soft. He leaned against Luo Yu, allowing the other to do as he wished.

Su Jiawen was still thinking about Luo Yu"s horses, so asked about them as he sat straddled on Luo Yu.

Luo Yu liked horseback riding too, and thus didn"t mind Su Jiawen"s behavior. He pressed Su Jiawen into the bed and f.u.c.ked him one round, before suddenly asking if he wanted to go see the horses.

Su Jiawen laid there, panting. His words were a bit slurred as he asked, "Can we go tomorrow?"

"It"s now or never." Luo Yu always did what he thought, when he thought. Su Jiawen put on his clothes and sat up, following Luo Yu to the back of the mountain on wobbly legs.

Luo Yu stuffed Su Jiawen into the car and drove around to the horse stables. They got out of the car under a blanket of starlight.

Ping City was near the subtropics, but was still a bit chilly in December. Su Jiawen didn"t have all his clothes on properly, so sneezed as soon as he left the car.

Luo Yu opened the door using a fingerprint scanner and pulled Su Jiawen inside.

The stables were extravagant. They were quite a ways off from the door, but before they had even entered, the worker in charge of the stables had already walked out after hearing the commotion. Upon seeing Luo Yu, he was shocked.

Luo Yu asked him how the horses had been recently and he answered honestly. The housekeeper had already told him about guests visiting the next day. Luo Yu looked at Su Jiawen and told the man to prepare an extra set of riding clothes.

The wind at night was cold, and the horses were already resting. Thus, Luo Yu took Su Jiawen home and said he would bring him back tomorrow.

Su Jiawen was ecstatic. After getting home, he made another cup of warm milk for Luo Yu; but actually, he was the one who wanted to drink it. Luo Yu stood in the kitchen and watched Su Jiawen stare at the little milk pot. He took a step forward to embrace him from behind.

Luo Yu"s arms were around Su Jiawen"s waist, encircling him. He thought Su Jiawen carried a milky aroma. Su Jiawen"s neck was white as snow too, and recovered extremely quickly. No matter how dark the marks Luo Yu left on him were, they always managed to become unnoticeable within three days.

"Mr. Luo……" Su Jiawen was a bit ticklish so reflexively tried to move out of reach. His waist and b.u.t.t kept managing to brush against Luo Yu"s lower abdomen, causing Luo Yu to suspect he was doing it on purpose. He grabbed Su Jiawen"s wrist and bit his finger. "Be good."

At this time, the milk finally started boiling, small, frequent bubbles rising to the surface.
Su Jiawen turned off the fire and looked back at Luo Yu. Luo Yu smiled at him somewhat politely and stepped out of the kitchen, taking a seat by the dinner table.

A gla.s.s of milk at night truly improved sleep quality. The next day, Luo Yu"s work efficiency was higher than normal too. In the morning, he saw A·L off and settled two transactions with Russia, then went to check on the two laboratories and workshop the company kept for appearances. He even had time to go home and stare at Su Jiawen"s face for lunch.

The friend visiting Luo Yu in the afternoon was White Nest"s investor. His name was Shen Qiyin and he was a third generation Red from Beijing. He spent his days fooling around, never doing anything productive.

His flight landed at Ping City"s Li Island Airport at 1:30. He didn"t request for Luo Yu to pick him up, ordering a taxi to Luo Yu"s house instead.

Luo Yu was in the study on the phone with the Middle Eastern buyer from last time. They had a shipment pa.s.sing by Ping City and wanted to borrow Luo Yu"s pier and workers.

Shen Qiyin knocked on the door. Su Jiawen answered.

As soon as they saw each other, both froze. Shen Qiyin looked Su Jiawen up and down before asking, "And you are?"

Su Jiawen stepped aside to let him in and said, "Mr. Shen, my name is Su Jiawen."

He didn"t know how to describe his current role, so simply decided not to say anything.

Luo Yu hadn"t told Shen Qiyin he was recently keeping a sugar baby around either. Shen Qiyin was very suspicious of Su Jiawen"s ident.i.ty, so kept his guard up as he nodded and walked in. He asked the housekeeper, "Where"s Luo Yu?"

"Mr. Luo is working upstairs," the housekeeper replied politely.

Shen Qiyin shoved his luggage at the housekeeper because he ultimately couldn"t resist his need to gossip. He gathered up close to Su Jiawen and questioned, "You and Luo Yu, what"s your relationship?"

Luo Yu had just finished making arrangements with Xing Licheng. The two walked out of the study, only to hear the sound of conversation coming from downstairs. Shen Qiyin was laughing loudly as he spoke. Su Jiawen softly went along with whatever he said.

He walked downstairs and furrowed his eyebrows upon seeing how the two were sitting.

Shen Qiyin sat with one leg over the over, a hand resting on Su Jiawen"s shoulder. He was showing the other a picture on his phone.

Su Jiawen was complacently commenting on it. Luo Yu walked closer and looked to find that it was a photo of scenery that Shen Qiyin had taken. Shen Qiyin and Luo Yu had both invested in a hotel on an island off the coast of country U. The picture showed the beach and infinity pool at the hotel.

"I"ve never left the country before," Su Jiawen offered as an answer to Shen Qiyin"s question.

Shen Qiyin was like a snake that climbed up the stick trying to hit it. "Next time tell Luo Yu to take you. If he"s not free, come find me."

Su Jiawen discovered that Luo Yu had come downstairs, so didn"t reply to Shen Qiyin. He turned his head and smiled at Luo Yu, subtly shrugging Shen Qiyin"s hand off.

"What are you looking at?" Luo Yu asked casually as he sat down on the single sofa.

The positions the three sat in were quite indicative. Shen Qiyin also realized that Luo Yu was displeased, but grinned anyways. "I was just talking to Jiawen about our hotel. Where"d you find such a treasure?"

"Stole him from your White Nest," Luo Yu said. When he was unhappy, n.o.body around him was allowed to actually be happy. "If Su Jiawen hadn"t met me, you"d probably be f.u.c.king him tonight."

After speaking, he glanced at Su Jiawen. "When I"m sick of him, I"ll send him over to you."

Before Shen Qiyin could react, Su Jiawen"s face paled with fright. He looked at Luo Yu in terror and panic.

Luo Yu casually glanced at him before finally placating, "I"m just trying to scare you. When I"m sick of you, I"ll send you back to Ping University to continue your education. If you went to a s.e.x den like White Nest, you"d die the next day."

Even after being roasted by Luo Yu, Shen Qiyin still didn"t understand how he had irritated the tyrant.

He was just about to cuss the other out when Luo Yu walked over and hauled Su Jiawen up. The two interlocked their hands before Luo Yu asked him, "Do you still want to go to the horse stables?"
Upon hearing the word "horse", Shen Qiyin immediately shot up. "Of course!"

At the racecourse, the horse trainer walked the horses out. Shen Qiyin grabbed the chestnut colored one and hopped on. He looked down at the two still on the ground. "Am I handsome?"

Luo Yu ignored him and turned his head to ask Su Jiawen, "Jiawen, which one do you want?"

He had somewhat bad intentions. Among these two horses, one was fairly docile while the other was extremely fierce and easy to anger.

Su Jiawen pointed to the fierce one, as expected.

"Do you know how to get on?" Luo Yu walked to the front of the black horse and smoothed down the hairs on its head. The black horse"s hooves lifted a few times and he snorted at Luo Yu.

Su Jiawen held onto the saddle. He hopped a few times but still couldn"t get on.

This horse"s name was Lishi. Normally he had quite a temper, but even after being pulled at by Su Jiawen several times, he still didn"t kick his legs out in anger.

Before Luo Yu could say anything, Shen Qiyin who was already on his horse spoke up first. "Is Lishi sick? He"s so gentle today."

Luo Yu gestured for Su Jiawen to step back. He put a foot in the stirrup and got on the horse, then held a hand out to Su Jiawen. "I"ll hold onto you. Step up."

Su Jiawen put his hand in Luo Yu"s. Luo Yu pulled and Su Jiawen finally sat in front of him.
Teaching someone how to ride a horse was something new for Luo Yu. He taught Su Jiawen a few simple commands then switched to the other horse. Shen Qiyin saw Luo Yu finally get on a horse, so raised his chin at him. He goaded, "Wanna go for a round?"

Luo Yu flicked the reins and charged forward.

Su Jiawen sat on Lishi and silently watched the other two"s horses run into the distance.

A while later, when Luo Yu and Shen Qiyin"s forms were about to disappear, Lishi suddenly moved. He walked forward proudly with the person on his back. As they walked, Su Jiawen lowered his body and leaned in close to Lishi"s ear. He whispered something to him and Lishi started running.

Su Jiawen only caught up to Shen Qiyin, not Luo Yu.

Shen Qiyin was casually strolling through the trees on his horse. Upon seeing Su Jiawen, he waved. Su Jiawen went over and asked, "Where"s Mr. Luo?"

"I don"t know," Shen Qiyin said. "Lishi likes you a lot."

"He and I are fated." Su Jiawen patted Lishi"s mane. Lishi stomped on the ground, seemingly in pleasure.

Shen Qiyin laughed noncommitedly. "Is that so. Jiawen, want to compete?"

Su Jiawen asked innocently, "How?"

"Let"s run to the purple flag on the top of the mountain." Shen Qiyin pointed to the flag that wasn"t very far away but wasn"t very close either. "Whoever"s first wins."

"Oh." Su Jiawen blinked at him. "What"s the prize?"

Shen Qiyin"s smile was undecipherable. "I daren"t say it yet. How about we compete first instead?"

Su Jiawen agreed. Before Shen Qiyin could react, he lowered his body and Lishi took off.

By the time Shen Qiyin made it halfway up the mountain and had spent a considerable amount of time searching, he belatedly realized that Su Jiawen had already taken the flag. He shook his head and started wandering around by himself once more.

Luo Yu patrolled his territory and suddenly heard a rustling in the trees. He started, then got off the horse to pull out a gun. He carefully pulled apart the fronds blocking his view, only to see a wild rabbit.

The little wild rabbit was quite cute. It looked at Luo Yu, trembled, and urgently dove into the forest to escape.

Luo Yu took two steps back and put his gun away. Behind him, the sound of hooves pounding on the earth drew closer. He turned around to look; it was Su Jiawen.

He wore a set of white equestrian clothes and rode a large horse, looming upon Luo Yu.

The moment Luo Yu lifted his gaze to meet Su Jiawen"s, his hand squeezed the gun tighter. Su Jiawen was backlit with a purple flag in his hand. Lishi was running slowly, each step more imposing. Su Jiawen"s lips were drawn in a flat line, almost as if he were judging him. But soon after, Luo Yu knew that this was only an illusion originating from the angle. Su Jiawen smiled at him, exposing his white teeth.
"Mr. Luo," Su Jiawen proudly bragged, "I left Mr. Shen in the dust."

Luo Yu put his gun back in its holster and walked towards his horse. He grabbed onto the saddle and swung a leg on. He was the same height as Su Jiawen again.

Luo Yu squeezed his legs against the horse"s abdomen. His horse obediently started running next to Su Jiawen"s.

Night fell. Luo Yu ignored Shen Qiyin who was lost in the race course and brought Su Jiawen back to the main building for dinner.
