Kang Jun and Lu AnLing decided not to stay in the hotel for the night. They both knew that Kang Mingyu was waiting for them at home and that, if he didn"t see Lu AnLing that day, he would throw a huge tantrum and cause Rong Lihua a great many problems. Before leaving the hotel, Kang Jun stopped by the front desk and had a small chat with the manager while Lu AnLing stood a few steps away. After he was done, Kang Jun turned to Lu AnLing and gestured for her to follow him.
"What was that about?" Lu AnLing wanted to ask but instead she walked quietly by Kang Jun"s side.
In the car, Kang Jun held Lu AnLings hand and drove home slowly. It was so calming that Lu AnLing dropped her overexerted body onto the seat; relaxing herself completely.
Seeing that the girl had fallen asleep and that they were almost home, Kang Jun wanted to stop and let her sleep before she had to deal with the hyperactive antics of Kang Mingyu but instead he just continued his drive home.
Once there he called Rong Lihua and asked her to open the door.
Inside the house, Rong Lihua was confused but she did what was asked of her. She waited at the door for a bit, and there she saw Kang Jun bringing Lu AnLing in the house like a bride on her wedding day.
Seeing this, Rong Lihua"s heart skipped a beat. Even her stone cold, aged heart could recognize the romance in Kang Juns actions.
Hearing the door open, Kang Mingyu ran down the stairs with a wide smile and sparkles in his eyes.
Once he laid eyes on Lu AnLing his eyes widened and he frowned.
"What did you do to auntie?" Kang Mingyu asked Kang Jun accusingly.
Kang Jun frowned at the boy but he didn"t answer.
Seeing the two boys facing off against one another, Rong Lihua rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Boys. Stop this right now. First, Young master, bring her to your room and little young master, if you promise not to cause any trouble for you uncle, you can go with him."
They both did as Rong Lihua said.

Hours later when Lu AnLing finally awoke, she groggily lifted herself up in bed. Seeing as she was alone in Kang Jun"s room, Lu AnLing was completely confused.
All she remembered was dozing off in the car, how did she end up in bed?
"Good morning," Kang Jun said to her.
Lu AnLing turned abruptly to see Kang Jun and Kang Mingyu walk through the door.
"I slept until morning?!" Lu AnLing was shocked by the statement. She knew she had been tired after the "exercise" she and Kang Jun had done but sleeping until the next morning was not something Lu AnLing expected of herself.
Gazing lovingly at her horrified face, Kang Jun didn"t clear up the misunderstanding straight away. The man thought seeing Lu AnLing freak out was cute but then, he felt a light kick on his leg.
Looking down he met the glare of Kang Mingyu.
"Mean!" The boy said loudly before he ran up to Lu AnLing. The boy stood on the bed and patted Lu AnLing"s hair. "Don"t worry auntie, it"s diner time right now. You didn"t sleep that long."
Turning to Kang Jun, Lu AnLing tried to confirm the truth.
To this, Kang Jun shrugged: "Don"t get me wrong. I said "good morning" it"s natural to say such a thing when another person wakes up. I never explicitly said that it was morning."
Hearing this, Lu AnLing frowned and then she hugged Kang Mingyu tightly. "Honey, you"re right. Your uncle really is mean!"
Kang Jun gave an expression as if he"d been wronged. He then walked over to Lu AnLing and sat on the bed.
"Is there anything I could do for you to forgive me?"
Lu AnLing smirked and then she began to fake think.
She didn"t need Kang Jun to do anything for her. She wasn"t actually mad at all, it was just fun to play along in situations like these.
Suddenly, Lu AnLings stomach growled and her face turned crimson.
Kang Jun held back his laughter.
"Let"s go eat." Kang Jun pushed himself off the bed. Seeing that Lu AnLing wasn"t making an effort to get up, Kang Jun said. "Would you like me to carry you?"
"N-no, I"m fine."
With those words spoken, the three headed downstairs and ate dinner. This time, they forced Rong Lihua to eat with them.
She obliged.
Then when they were all done eating, Rong Lihua kicked them out of the dinning room so she could start cleaning.
The three went into the living room and sat down.
By Lu AnLing"s side, Kang Jun was working hard and to fight the urge to look at his computer, Lu AnLing grabbed her phone and began to brainstorm a song idea as Kang Mingyu curled up into Lu AnLing"s lap.
Kang Jun sighed and then he leaned back into the couch.
"Is everything alright?" The words flew out of Lu AnLings mouth so quickly that she barely had time to register them.
Kang Jun: "I"m fine. Just work. I think I"ll be very busy soon."
Hearing him say this, Lu AnLing looked at the man with confusion.
As a business man, Lu AnLing expected Kang Jun to be busy but as the CEO, she believed that the man"s hours were flexible. And yes, she wasn"t wrong but being the CEO of Kang Corporations was different.
In the last twenty years the Kang Corporation had experienced quite a few dips in profit. The first big dip happening when Kang Mu nearly destroyed the company due to his recklessness and the second was when Kang Zhi had died.
Because of those two moments, a great many of the employees inside the Kang Corporation didn"t feel secure at all. At the moment, the only thing that kept them sane was the fact that Kang Jun was at their head but with any problems that arose, big or small, they would panic and Kang Jun would be forced to take over. This annoyed the man to no end.
Lu AnLing: "Does this mean you won"t be home for a while?"
Kang Jun shook his head. "I"ll come home."
Lu AnLing: "Will you be late?"
Kang Jun: "Not if I can help it."
"Don"t be late."
Kang Jun turned to look at Lu AnLing. Her eyes were glossed over and she pouted slightly.
Kang Jun: "Huh?"
"I said don"t be late." Lu AnLing reaffirmed her words.
For the first time in forever she had a real family; people who she could see everyday, who would eat dinner with her, be with her until she fell asleep and be there when she woke up.
She didn"t want to lose Kang Jun"s presence or worse, get use to being away from Kang Jun.
Kang Jun closed his laptop and put it away before he gave Lu AnLing a kiss on the lips.
"Fine. I won"t be late."
With his kiss, Kang Jun caused fireworks to erupt within Lu AnLing. But they weren"t the loud and offensive types. They were the types you watched from afar, that made you think "wow this is so perfect" and that is what Lu AnLing felt at the moment.
She was happy.
Everything was perfect.
Lu AnLing was more attached to Kang Jun than she wanted to admit and the more they touched each other and connected with each other, Lu AnLing began to grow closer to him.
