Jun Kai slowly opened his eyes . It took him a while before he could adjust his eyesight to his surroundings .

Jun Kai slowly got up from his bed and lifted his hand up, but there were no injuries at all . His throat and lips felt dry as if he had not drunk water for a long time . When she was about to try for the third time, the door at the main entrance was opened by two men .

Soon three figures walked inside; one was Mi Rong who was in front, the person on her left was her confidant Chu Chu and the person who was talking to her on the right-hand side was Fu Li . Jun Kai had recognised his follower immediately . However, all three of them were not looking his way .

He took a glance at the nurse who was now bowing like the others in the room . When everyone had said their greetings, they all returned to what they were doing, so did the nurse who was attending to him . Once again, Jun Kai pushed her hand away, but this time, he had accidentally used too much strength that the nurse fell on the floor .
