He walked into the nearby dark alleyway and changed his loadout as usual. His appearance changed into a usual armored man in an armored rig his AK had been replaced with a heavily modified M16. He walked to the nearest bus stop and a bus appeared to pick him up, he walked to the bus and the usual bus driver appeared again, "Hey there young kid, as usual?" He asked."The usual sir," he sat down behind him. The bus pa.s.sengers trembled as usual when they saw a black man holding a gun entering the bus. The busman laughed off and he closed the bus door.
The location of the lot was far enough, it was 5 bus stops away then you had to take a train that went for 2 hours journey for 180 km. The location of that the contract marked was the capital city. That was the only contract that was available for him. Luckily, no one would report him to the police because it was the nature of the Armory System.
With the Armory System, he bought a ticket under an anonymous name and embarked for the capital on a train. "The last contract for this week, d.a.m.n I"m tired." He said as he looked out to the field from the window.
Alpha: "When will you arrive at the train station?"
Delta: "In two hours."
Alpha: "After you arrive at a station. Walk to this area. We are waiting there."
Delta: "Ok."
He rode that train for two hours before arriving at the capital. He left the train station and looked at the buildings that were soaring up in the sky. "Wow, so high," he looked up at the skysc.r.a.pers.
He looked at his phone and walked to the position which the Armory System showed on the maps. He walked through the capital and he got the feeling of the hustle and bustle of a big city. The capital was the main trading spot from all of the provinces around the entire country.
He then took a bus to the outskirts of the city which was located around 20 kilometers from the train station.
He walked to the spot that the Armory System told him to go, it was an empty field in the outskirts of the city. The field was a barren land with the other contractors sitting in vehicles.
He approached them, "Sorry if I was taking too long," Patrick looked at the armored vehicles and was surprised when he saw it. He pointed his hands at two vehicles, "We are going to shut down a trafficking ring right? We aren"t going to destroy a military installation right?" He asked as he saw two helicopters in front of him.
Echo stepped in to explain the situation, "Well, you see, due to Lima"s circ.u.mstances, we decided to go a little bit more armed than yesterday," Echo said.
"I know, but you know what this is right? This is an Apache," Patrick said as he knocked on the body of that helicopter.
[AH-64 Apache: An American made attack helicopter. It is armed with a 30mm M230 chain gun and four pylons that could carry either the AGM-114 h.e.l.lfire or Hydra 70 rocket. A terrifying war machine that had been combat-proven in the middle east.]
Alpha and Bravo were inside that attack helicopter. They were wearing a helicopter pilot"s helmets. They gave them a thumbs up.
Charlie came with a big rifle on her hand, a Barrett M107 .50 BMG sniper rifle, "let"s go, what are we waiting for?" She got inside another helicopter.
[MH-60L "Blackhawk": One of the UH-60 helicopter variants. It is used by the US 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. It included many different upgrades including FLIR Camera, color weather map, auxiliary fuel system, and laser rangefinder/detonator. This variant is equipped with two M134 miniguns]
Echo would be the pilot of that helicopter and Hotel would be the co-pilot. Foxtrot and Bravo would be the door gunners while Delta/Patrick and Charlie would be the auxiliary door gunner.
"C"mon, we"re on a tight schedule here. We need to depart now," Hotel said as she spun the helicopter rotors.
All of them got aboard that helicopter and sat down. Patrick and Charlie were sitting on the helicopter doors with a strap securing them in place, "Hey, you might need this," Bravo gave Patrick a machine gun. It was a PKP Pecheneg.
[PKP Pecheneg: An upgraded version of the PK machine gun. It is chambered in 7.62x54mmR. it is a belt-fed machine gun with 200 rounds box. It is one of the lightest General Purpose Machine Gun]
"Thanks," he retrieved that machine gun and put it in front of his body. Both of the helicopters took off from the ground and gained alt.i.tude. Patrick was ecstatic like a boy on Christmas when he held that machine gun.
Hotel: "We will drop Charlie and Delta on the overpa.s.s on the freeway. Both of your jobs is to stop a backup convoy."
"I see that," Patrick said as he held his MG firmly.
The Blackhawk landed on an overpa.s.s and Patrick and Charlie got out of that helicopter. Patrick was carrying a Panzerfaust III on his back and Charlie had Barrett M107 on her back. Their job was to hold off an enemy convoy.
The helicopter flew again to a 20 floors office building. It was the place where the crime took place. The whole office building was a disguise for that trafficking operation. That"s what the mission details said. The helicopter landed on the roof to drop two personnel.
He looked at the freeways where vehicles were pa.s.sing by, "Where"s the convoy?" He asked as he hid behind the concrete barrier of the overpa.s.s and held the Panzerfaust on his hands.
"Let"s wait," Charlie hid behind the concrete wall with her sniper rifle on her hands.
Suddenly, a loud explosion could be heard, it was from that building. The Apache shot an AGM-114 missile at the building and it exploded the top floor. It was followed by more sound of gunfire.
Echo: "Intercepting Backup Request. Delta, Charlie, prepare yourself. ETA 2 minutes."
Delta checked the PKP and released the safety of the Panzerfaust. He put it in her shoulder and he took a peek from the concrete barrier.
There were three sedans at high speed that were heading to their directions at high speed. It was the backup, it could be identified just by the war that the cars were driven.
Charlie put her M107 on top of the concrete barrier, "Delta, Light em up!"
Delta put the Panzerfaust in his shoulder and aimed it at the convoy, "Roger that," he shot the launcher at the road.
