I"m tired!

I had multiple attempts to capture one but all I manage to get was whipping.

All parts of my body hurts from being whipped by those d.a.m.n Bulbasaurs.

Just let me rest for a while.

Going to a nearby tree and resting on its shade I decided to have a little nap.

...

But before I even manage to catch some Zs.

Something heavy fell on my chest all of a sudden.

What the?!

Holding the thing that fell on my chest I managed to see what it looked like.

My first thought was "What a cute looking caterpillar!"

It looked like a caterpillar wearing a hood made out of leaves.

Looks cute and lovable.

I could attract girls with this.

Maybe this can be my first pokemon!

Before I even manage to take out my phone a Pokeball instantly appeared in my hand.

It appears whenever I want to catch a pokemon?

Or is it something else?

No use asking.

b.u.mping the Pokeball at the caterpillar it sucked the creature within a sec.

*shake

*shake

Whenever the Pokeball shook my heart beat also became faster in anxiety.

*shake

...

It"s not shaking anymore?

As I thought of that, my phone vibrated at that time.

"Gotcha! Sewaddle was captured!"

Monster Name: Sewaddle

Monster Type: Gra.s.s/Bug

Description:

This Pokémon makes clothes for itself. It chews up leaves and sews them with sticky thread extruded from its mouth.

A sewaddle? I thought it was a catterpie.

Oh well, they"re still both caterpillars!

"Sewaddle, Come out!"

The Pokeball in my hands opened as a streak of light came out then the figure of swaddle was formed.

My first pokemon is so cute!

"I"ll name you, Green Ranger!"

Sewaddle as if understanding my words jumped in joy.

Hehehe, my first pokemon!

"What can you do, Green?"

Green, was the nickname I gave it. Green Ranger should be its full name!

Green then faced a falling leaf and shot some sort of spider web at it gluing it to the bark of the tree.

"Awesome!"

Trying to test the stickiness and its tensile strength. I tried ripping it into two.

Even with all my strength, I wasn"t able to rip it even a little and it was super sticky making it hard to remove from my hand.

"Green, could you help me remove your sticky thing?"

Green slowly then ate the strings after getting on my shoulder.

This should be how like some spiders recycle their spider webs.

Cool!

Now let"s try its other moves.

...

An hour later.

I have caught 3 more Sewaddle!

When I already had Green Ranger I thought I would be able to catch a Bulbasaur then.

But I was wrong.

Even the smallest and weak-looking Bulbasaur could easily rip Green"s [String Shot]

Not what I expected as even I could do nothing once coiled with those silks.

So what I thought was to entangle a Bulbasaur with multiple [String Shot].

Green could use [String Shot] again and again but it needs at least 10 seconds to stock up its silks. By that time the Bulbasaur would have broken free and probably started whipping as with its vines.

So what I had in mind was that if a single [String Shot] couldn"t hold then I"ll just have to use more.

And what I"m doing now is luring over a Bulbasaur to leave the group.

Why?

Well, if you"d like to be whip by at least a dozen Bulbasaur then go ahead and fight them in groups.

It"s a good thing that Bulbasaurs were usually lazy and had a mild personality so after scaring me with its vines it would usually go back to its sleep.

Just like this small Bulbasaur which is sleeping at a more secluded place absorbing sunlight.

Now, I"m going to p.i.s.s it off somehow.

After angering it I"d try to lure it inside the forest where Green and the others were.

I grab a nearby rock and threw it at the face of the sleeping.

*Hit

Bullseye! I hit its eye!

The small Bulbasaur opened its eyes and searched for the culprit that disturbed its sleep. It then saw a human near it who just threw another one hitting its bulb.

This action truly angered the Bulbasaur as the bulb on every Bulbasaurs back dictates their life and death. If a Bulbasaur had its bulb damage it would require a long period of time to regenerate but if the bulb was totally ruined then only death could await the unfortunate Bulbasaur. It would mean that one was crippled and unable to absorb the sunlight for its growth.

That human actually dared to throw at its bulb! It had to have revenge!

...

The Bulbasaur rushed towards me in anger as its two vines came out of its bulb.

That is one angry Bulbasaur!

Now, I just have to lure it inside the forest!

Running as fast as I can I then headed to the place where Green and the others were waiting in ambush.

Is it following?

As I looked back, I manage to see a black streak of dots heading right towards me!

Is that [Bullet Seed]?

I tried using the trees as cover to avoid getting hit by those seeds.

If ever I got hit one of those who knows if it"s as powerful as a gun.

But I"m sure it"ll hurt like h.e.l.l!

After successfully avoiding the seeds I then hid on a bush as my job was finally done.

The Bulbasaur was already inside the "kill box" of the 4 Sewaddles.

[String Shot]

Four streaks of silks shot straight towards the poor Bulbasaur.

The Bulbasaur was taken in surprise as it never expected to get attacked out of nowhere.

It"s body then got covered by white sticky silks restricting its movements.

The more it struggled it only realized that the silks got stickier and stickier.

Soon the second round of [String Shot] arrived further covering it with silks.

The Bulbasaur now looked like a huge coc.o.o.n.

...

Is it over?

All I could see was a huge white coc.o.o.n.

Will the Poke Ball even work?

*swoosh

I threw the Pokeball with all my strength but only for it to be stuck at the silks.

Oh, c.r.a.p. Don"t tell me I"ll have to hit its body-?

Just as I thought of that the white coc.o.o.n vanished as the Pokeball remained and intensely shook.

*shake

*shake

*shake

"Please be captured". I prayed in my heart.

*shake

...

Soon, my phone vibrated as it displayed a notification.

"Gotcha! Bulbasaur was caught!"

h.e.l.l Yeah! Finally Caught!
