Will opened his eyes and looked around, like usual Elizabeth and her husband left him alone, leaving a note carved on tree bark.
-It has been a month since we left the village, your bones should be healed by now, although you might still feel some pain. Don"t go anywhere, when we get back my husband wants to introduce himself-
Reading this note, Will couldn"t help but to shake his head, "Luckily the predators nearby are scared of their lingering aura, otherwise I would have already became a meal"
Will sat up from his straw mattress as he thought back to his potion issue.
"I really need to get my hands on a creature, or part of a creature that carries the dragon bloodline in order to make my strength enhancement potion work"
Although another powerful creature would work, he has settled on using the bloodline of the dragon as his main ingredient, he doesn"t want to use another creature unless he has too.
His main concern was quality, if the quality is low, he has to use more mental energy which means pa.s.sing out would be expected, unless he waits until he can handle it.
He doesn"t want to wait, so he needs a high quality main ingredient, he needs to power up as soon as possible.
Looking at his surroundings, Will still couldn"t believe how large the trees in this world were, at least how large the trees in this forest are.
The smallest tree could be circled by ten fully grown adult men!
That is in no way a small tree!
At least in his old world.
If the trees are this size, Will wondered how large the world is?
Ten times?
One hundred times?
Maybe even one thousand times the size of Earth?
That"s a lot of adventuring to do, a lot of places to hide from the people that want to hunt him, although he can"t hide from the heavens, he can still prolong his life in the vast wilderness when he gets there.
His only concerns are the beasts, as far as he is concerned, any living being in this world would try to kill him instantly when they discover he is a rejected.
He imagined being chased by a common bird, and by swarms of mosquitos.
He started to laugh at that very funny and annoying thought.
"I might need to make a permanent bug repelling potion, if that"s even possible"
Looking around he frowned slightly, "Speaking of mosquitos, I haven"t had to deal with bugs since I got into the forest as far as I remember"
Will was getting concerned, even if the aura of the two scare off powerful predators, would the usually stubborn insects really stay away as well?
Especially since in this world, the mosquitos should be even more stubborn than the ones on earth..
There was something strange going on, and he was a little scared to encounter some creature.
He is not even a match for a child of this world currently.
How can he fend for himself in his current state!?
Although he was reluctant, he was gradually attracted to a certain area of the forest.
From the direction he was getting this feeling from, a wisp of a very ancient aura gradually spread outwards.
This aura made his face brighten up, he could tell instinctively that it is a very important ingredient for him!
Standing up, Will stretched as he started to slowly and cautiously head over to the origin of the aura.
His curiosity was growing in leaps and bounds.
Walking through the undergrowth, Will"s face started to get a little sore.
Every branch and leaf would whip back and hit him in the face!
Will gritted his teeth as he held back the urge to swear.
"The whole world"s against me!"
Resting at the base of an ancient tree, Will looked up at the ma.s.sive branches above weaving together as if they wish to block out all the sunlight.
"I wonder what it would be? Why do I feel a pull, as if it"s something I need to collect?"
Three hours later, Will was standing at the boundary of a clearing, his jaw hitting the floor.
In the center of the clearing was a dying snake with stubby wings growing from its back.
"It"s a f*cking snake that is evolving into a dragon! The dragon bloodline does exist in this world!"
Looking at the snake breathing its last breath, Will looked off into the distance as if he was trying to see into the void.
"I am starting to think I am the main character in a story, and the author is a s.a.d.i.s.t, why else would the author make the whole world my enemy?"
Shaking his head he cleared that ridiculous thought from his mind.
What"s more important is to collect the snake"s body or at least part of it!
