Potion Maker

Chapter 27

As Will wakes up in the morning, he gets to training, with explosive movements (because of his muscle power charging) he destroys a handful of trees in a couple hours. Looking at the destroyed trees, he couldn"t help but admire his increase in strength.

As he stands in thought about his growing power, he hears a distant chirp, panicking, Will starts walking.

With his vigilance ever increasing, he cautiously heads to the mountain.

While walking, Will notices that some of the trees actually are letting off a green glow whenever their leaves brush against each other, making a pulling force form in his body.

Walking past, Will couldn"t figure out what the use tree leaves could have.

As he walked, he couldn"t help but look at the bright green undergrowth and smell the crisp cool wind that carried the scent of nature.

He could feel all of the pores on his body open as he smelled the pleasant scent of nature.

As he was walking, he couldn"t help but think of that old couple, he really wanted to see them, but he didn"t want to ruin their lives anymore than he might have.

Walking past a countless amounts of ma.s.sive trees and glistening blue water, Will runs into footprints.

Looking at the footprints, they didn"t appear to be the footprints of anyone he knew, the prints were dry and solid, like they have been there for a week or so.

With a confused expression, Will looked into the surroundings and noticed that the greenery and the earth were all dark and crumbling, as if decayed.

Feeling an ominous presence, Will took a detour towards the mountain.

Moving through the twisting ravines and twisted tree roots between the trees, Will found a mana stone, picking it up excitedly he continued walking.

He has gradually realized that he has been instinctively lead to where potential ingredients are.

While walking and keeping an eye out for any other treasures, Will noticed that he felt pulling sensations in multiple directions, causing an excited look to appear on his face.

Sighing as he looked at the sunlight streaming from the canopy, Will felt tired as he thought of how far he has to walk to get to the mountain.

"Sadly I lost track of how many days I was out here, so I don"t know how long it"ll take me to get back"

Kicking a handful of stones that were in front of him, Will stretched as he leaned against a tree, letting his mind go into a deep state of relaxation.

As the sun in the sky moved several notches towards the west, Will finally opened his eyes as he let out a quiet yawn.

Antic.i.p.ating making potions with his higher skill level he just achieved, Will resumed walking.

Smashing through the thick underbrush, Will struggled to ignore the pulling sensations that he felt, as of now he wasn"t strong enough to wander the whole forest.

He decided to come back and search for potential ingredients at a later date.
