Back in the depths of the forest the old couple was returning to where they left Will.
"When we get there, we need to completely introduce ourselves"
Said Elizabeth as she looked at her husband, "How should we go about explaining that we are, or at least were the strongest if not two of the strongest people?"
Shrugging his shoulders her husband sighed as he skipped over a sharp protruding root, "The kid still hasn"t adjusted to this world, he also hasn"t found out the situation he is in yet, I am pretty sure he wouldn"t believe us"
Smiling at Elizabeth he shook his head, "He is most likely too busy trying to understand his situation, telling him would be too much, but we have to at least tell him so he will take whatever knowledge we give him seriously, we need to make him understand his situation"
Looking at each other they smiled as they thought about the fact that this might be the last good deed they can do in their lives.
They have already accepted their incoming deaths.
Coming to a small clearing they pa.s.sed the note they left Will as they walked over to where he was sleeping.
Looking at the spot where Will slept, they both revealed panicked expressions as they dashed into the woods following his footsteps.
Inside a cave halfway up the heaven piercing mountain, Will woke up with a groan from the feeling of a breeze ruffling his hair.
Holding his head he couldn"t help but curse his sh*tty luck since he came to this world. Looking around he was shocked and a little frightened at the fact that he was suddenly in a cave.
Standing up, he winced as his foot throbbed with pain from stepping on that sharp rock.
Walking to the mouth of the cave with slight limp, he took in a breath of cold air as he looked downwards.
He felt a little sick!
Not only was he halfway up the mountain, the cave was above a straight drop down!
It was at least a seven kilometer fall!
This was only approximately halfway up the mountain!
(AN: This is also the smallest mountain in this world… Not a spoiler, just a hint at the size of this world, the numbers will be so ma.s.sive that I won"t bother typing the distances down most of the time, I hope you understand)
Backing up, Will went back into the cave. Sitting down, he thought for a bit before he decided to work on his potion.
Grabbing his waist where he tied the ingredients, his face went pale as he realized that they were gone.
Will stared blankly at the depths of the cave as he lamented the loss of his ingredients, with them it is easier to make a potion and he will be less likely to pa.s.s out.
Sighing, he stood up as he started to walk into the depths of the cave.
"I might as well see where this goes"
He decided to just walk further in.
he can"t leave anyways can he?
As he walked deeper into the cave, he failed to realize that there was no wind whistling in the entrance to the cave the whole time.
There was definitely something preventing the wind from blowing into the cave.
In the depths of the cave there was not even the slightest speck of light in the darkness. Stretching his hands out in front of him, Will slowly walked deeper into the cave.
Grasping into the darkness, Will kept panicking at the slightest sound as he kept making sure he wouldn"t walk into something.
If only he didn"t have to worry about a rat killing and dragging him away, he would be able to stay calm.
If a snake could get to the point it started to evolve into a dragon, then a rat can reach great levels of power too.
If he can"t beat a child, how can he stay calm!?
