Chapter 1577: I can tear down this hospital of yours.

“Keep in mind that no one else’s figure should be remembered by you aside from mine.”
Ji Ziming’s breath fanned Pei Ge’s face. This scent, which belonged to him, made her heart thump fast. This was not the first time he kissed her like this, yet every time he did, her heart would always beat erratically.
“I know. You’re so petty.”
She had a slipped of her tongue.
The man suddenly moved closer to her. Thereafter, he pressed a b.u.t.ton to close the window behind her. The window slowly rolled up, isolating them from the rest of the world.
As his large hands started traveling across her body, the air soon became charged with l.u.s.t. He pinned her down as his lips kissed hers, causing the sound coming from her throat to become m.u.f.fled.
Her white blouse was aggressively unb.u.t.toned by him as he peppered her chest with kisses, but the moment he reached between her legs, she jolted and quickly pushed him off her.
“You… Stop it.”
She could not help quivering from his touch, blus.h.i.+ng as she did. She hurriedly straightened clothes and looked at him.
Her posture suggested that she was guarding from a thief—a thief who wanted to take advantage of her.
“You’re so quick to cover yourself.” Ji Ziming closed his darkened eyes. “Do you need my help?”
“No. Get off me.”
She would rather do it on her own than let him help her, for if he were to do so, she might not be able to meet the doctor at the hospital later.
“You really don’t want it?”
Craftiness flashed across his eyes as he looked at her unb.u.t.toned blouse. If she were to walk out like this, he would suffer a great loss.
“I don’t; I can manage on my own.”
Pei Ge did not realize that something was amiss with her s.h.i.+rt. She only felt a s.h.i.+ver down her spine when she saw him smiling at her.
“Let me b.u.t.ton your blouse for you.”
He leaned forward, his familiar scent filling her nose again. Seeing him fixing her blouse gently, she fell in love with him all over again.
This man right before her eyes had the deepest gaze and care for her that no other men had.
“It’s done just like this. If just you had listened to me, I could have b.u.t.toned it for you even earlier.”
The man sat back in his seat and found her looking at him dazedly.
His lips curled as satisfaction overwhelmed his eyes. “What’s wrong? Do you want to marry me now?”
She shook her head and sounded cold. “No. Whoever marries you will have a short life.”
She fled from the car after saying that. Standing amid a crowd of foreigners, she agitatedly glanced in the man’s direction as she tried to maintain her composure. She could not help laughing. “CEO Ji, how is it?”
“Your words are correct; you’ll know how it is once we are back home tonight.”
His voice sounded threatening, but she merely pouted and said nothing.
To make him be gentle with her tonight, she needed to act more docile right now. Thus, with this goal in mind, she leaned on him endearingly as they walked into the hospital.
The luxurious hospital had high privacy requirements, so the moment they stepped inside, a nurse, who recognized the pair, entered the elevator with them. “Mr. Ji, are you here to look for Dr. Joe?”
“Mhm.”
In front of outsiders, the man was cold and indifferent—very unlike the man who had flirted with his woman in the car earlier.
“His office is on the sixth floor; I’ll bring you and madam there,” said the nurse, whose face had a mask. Pei Ge noticed that this nurse was pretty and of mixed blood from her eyes.
“Sir, ma’am, I’m Dr. Joe’s a.s.sistant. You guys can call me Cherrie.”
“Thank you, Cherrie.”
She smiled sweetly as she gave that reply before the man could, her dimples causing his eyes to brighten.
“Ma’am, you’re too polite; I’m just doing my job.”
The nurse appeared sincere, and this made her excited to see what kind of doctor that Joe was. She was curious since he had a nurse like this.
The elevator stopped on the sixth floor as the nurse led the way. Pei Ge noticed that this floor only had private wards without any gla.s.s part.i.tions, which were usually found in hospitals. The rooms did not have any signs to indicate which medical branch they were and only had numbers on their doors.
Cherrie led the couple to a room with the number ‘7’ on its door. After one or two knocks, someone could faintly be heard saying “enter” from inside.
Ji Ziming opened the door, and the scent of spice within made him frown and cough. He hurriedly pulled his woman into his chest to prevent her from smelling this.
“It’s been a while since we last met, and you’re still the same.”
The man’s clear voice and strong chest gave Pei Ge a big sense of security.
“You’re aware that we haven’t met in a long time, yet you’re giving me such a challenging task the moment we did.”
Joe, in a white, casual wear, looked nothing like a doctor; rather, the looks of the doctors in this hospital for the rich did not fit their profession. Only the nurses were in uniforms, but they all looked unique, too.
Cherrie had a gold-plated name tag, whereas, Pei Ge noticed, the nurses on the first floor had silver-plated name tags. Besides this, everyone’s belt was different, too, with it being in the same color as the wearer’s nametag.
“How have you been?”
Joe sat in the chair before a black bag filled with duck’s necks. The doctor was currently eating a piece as though he did not find it to be very spicy while he shot glances at the couple embracing at the entrance. He could not resist laughing. “You’re protecting your wife so dearly; what’s the matter? Are you afraid of my beauty attracting her?”
“Don’t you dare! If you dare lay a finger on her, I’ll tear down this hospital of yours.”
The threatening look in Ji Ziming’s eyes showed that he was not afraid of the doctor with golden hair, who was eating duck neck while wearing gloves.
“Why are you making threats? Don’t worry; I’m not that interested in your wife.”
Joe liked women with great figures, followed by beautiful faces and nice voices.
