Chapter 1725: Did You Request for This Room?
She fell into a muscular arm, and a familiar smell wafted to her nose. When she met his deep eyes, he exuded an aura that made her feel at ease. Pei Ge’s heart, which was initially in her mouth, slowly eased as her lips curled into a gentle smile.
“Ziming, I… Wu…”
Before Pei Ge could say what she wanted to say, Ji Ziming leaned over and sealed her lips. The two of them stood at the same spot and pressed their lips together. His breath and actions were so familiar and peaceful as they roamed around her mouth and heart.
It was as if he wanted to devour her whole.
After a long kiss, Ji Ziming finally let go of Pei Ge. His voice was cold, but there was a rare repression. “Ge Ge, let’s go upstairs.”
“Okay.”
A blush appeared on her cheeks. It was unclear if it was due to the alcohol or her shyness, but it made her look perfect. As long as it was him, she was willing to go anywhere with him.
“I’ll carry you up.”
Ji Ziming bent down and princess-carried Pei Ge into his embrace. There was still a gap between them but he bent down and left his breath on her lips.
In his life, this woman would be the only woman by his side.
She alone was enough.
“Ziming, quickly put me down. It’s not good if someone sees us, so quickly put me down.”
Pei Ge looked around the house nervously. As it was dinner time earlier, all the bodyguards in the room had retreated to guard the door. They would not come in at this time, but because they were doing something intimate, Pei Ge felt a little shy.
“What are you afraid of? I’m here. Don’t worry, they won’t come in.”
Ji Ziming’s voice was cold and there was a hint of a smile in it. He was very satisfied with the att.i.tude and actions of the little girl in his arms. This was almost the same as what he had known her back then. He still preferred her to be ‘ cute and helpless’ like this to being fiery.
“No need. Let me down; I’ll go upstairs myself.”
Pei Ge refused to lie comfortably in Ji Ziming’s embrace and insisted on standing up by herself to go upstairs. However, she was held back by Ji Ziming and did not have the chance to turn around.
“Listen to me and lie in my arms. No one will see us. If anyone sees us, I’ll gouge his eyes out.”
Ji Ziming’s voice was firm. No one could resist his determination to carry Pei Ge upstairs, not even Pei Ge.
“Ziming, you…”
Pei Ge was a little anxious. Looking at Ji Ziming’s resolute expression, she knew that she could not dissuade him, so she chose to keep quiet. However, the nervousness in her eyes remained as she looked at her surroundings, afraid that a bodyguard would appear and scare her.
Or Charlie Butler.
Pei Ge broke out in a cold sweat at the thought of Butler Charlie. She could finally understand how awkward and helpless Mother Ji and Qu Xiujie were when they were together. However, she was alone and could not tell Butler Charlie about her truce plan.
Perhaps, in this foreigner’s eyes, he understood what Pei Ge meant by a truce.
“That’s more obedient.”
Ji Ziming was very satisfied with Pei Ge’s expression. Seeing that she wanted to reject him but knew that she could not choose to reject him, his smile deepened.
Ji Ziming knew that Pei Ge’s worries were unnecessary. If not for his orders or if there was no emergency, the bodyguards standing at the door would not have rushed into the room. They knew the consequences of disobeying Ji Ziming’s orders. If Ji Ziming fired them, they would not have any courage to live in the capital anymore.
“You…”
Pei Ge wanted to say something, but on second thought, if her words were to agitate Ji Ziming, then when she entered the room later, she would have to bear ten or even twenty times the pain. If that was the case, she would rather not say anything.
This was the only way to ensure her safety.
Ji Ziming carried Pei Ge into the room. The decor was cla.s.sical and had an ancient charm to it.
The red curtains swayed with the evening breeze. The room was filled with the romantic atmosphere of the early spring cherry blossoms. Even the slippers placed on the shoe rack were made for couples. They had pink rabbit ears and brown teddy bears. They seemed to be the simplest and most romantic pair.
“Ge Ge, did you request for this room?”
Ji Ziming looked up and was greeted by the sight of the warm interior decoration. Even the murals he saw were filled with the most gentle and lingering charm.
Only then did she turn to look at her surroundings. She did not remember requesting to renovate such a l.u.s.tful room. Just as she was about to shake her head, Ji Ziming pinned her down on the bed.
All of a sudden, the familiar scent got close to her nose. Her mind became hazy for a moment, but she quickly regained her senses.
“I didn’t renovate this room.”
She gave her answer, but in his eyes, it was no longer important.
“It doesn’t matter who asked for the renovation; it’s enough that we’re here.”
Ji Ziming pressed his lips against hers. Not far away from him, the floor-to-ceiling curtains were swaying. It was the most intimate time for two people to sleep in bed.
He gently glided from the tip of her nose and from her forehead to her collarbone then from her fair cheeks to her arms.
“Ge Ge, can we stay here tonight and not go back?”
Ji Ziming’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he whispered in Pei Ge’s ear. It brought with it a warm and itchy feeling as well as the most intimate feeling.
“Mhm.”
She nodded and blushed. She still liked this side of him the most. No matter how long she looked at him, she would never get tired of him.
“Okay, let’s rest now.”
With her consent, he reached out his long arm and turned off all the switches on the bedside table. Instantly, all the lights in the room dimmed and the room fell into an amorous atmosphere.
“You’re pressing on my hair.”
Ji Ziming, who had just laid down beside Pei Ge, coincidentally pinned down a strand of Pei Ge’s hair. He had no choice but to sit up and grab a round headband from the table. He grabbed Pei Ge’s hair and twirled the band around her hair twice.
