Chapter 9 – Leaving (2)
“Xue Yao, is this rouge to your liking?”
He Yunshu turned out to be an inventor in the making . She carried out experiments all by herself and was keen on producing quality cosmetics .
Since ancient times, women have always struggled to earn money and He Yunshu was unwilling to join this trend . She intended to develop this potential business, so she came to her good friend first for her opinion .
Indeed, He Yunshu’s journey was like that of a fledgling’s first flight . In the beginning, she came to this strange world unsure . To make her flight even rockier, she was greeted by evil servants and the only one that is actually humane was her servant girl, Hong-er .
Too bad for the evil servants; she was not a woman to be trifled with .
She had managed to get rid of them for good . Afterwards, she began to wander aimlessly and met the first woman in this strange world who she could actually call the most beautiful .
She found Xue Yao excellent at talking . Though born into the lower cla.s.s of society, she still preserved a cultured bearing . She noticed that they could get along really well—like they have been friends for a long time . Even though they had just recently known each other, their views on some things were particularly in harmony .
He Yunshu came from the future and her ideas were greatly influenced by her origin . However, it was so bizarre that Xue Yao had similar ideas which gave He Yunshu some misgivings . Did she perhaps befriended a transmigrator like her? She thought of asking Xue Yao the impossible but chose to tell her a phrase instead .
“Socialist Scientific Outlook on Development1 . ”
He Yunshu blurted out with a determined voice .
Su Xin, who was about to give her opinion of He Yunshu’s rouge, immediately fell silent .
Could Xue Yao possibly tell something about the famous outlook of modern China?

They continued to engross themselves over the fabricated rouges .
At this moment, Su Xin was wearing the newly fabricated rouge on her lips while He Yunshu scrutinized . Her lips looked enticing, covered in bright red color but He Yunshu thought it was too striking for Su Xin’ demure face . She promised to give a softer shade next time .
As the time progressed, Su Xin got weary and helplessly told Fourteen that she felt like she was a marketed consumer and He Yunshu was the one instigating the business .
[I can’t find the appropriate words for this situation . ] Fourteen said nonchalantly, ignoring Su Xin’s plight .
They spent a lot of time in each other’s company . He Yunshu deemed Su Xin as someone who has a pure heart, almost childlike, despite of the circ.u.mstances she was in . She was full of political wisdom and philosophies that are all ahead of her time . Her speeches were also remarkable . It was a truly a pity that someone this clever was ought to stay in this pit for forever .
On the other hand, Su Xin thought that He Yunshu was a golden finger . Not only can she make rouge but also soaps . Miss Mary Sue has great opportunities . She looks forward to the day when she will make sanitary napkins .
