Chapter 1745 - 1745 Meetings
1745 Meetings
Sam woke up with drowsy eyes.
He is completely healed. He didn’t feel any traces of what happened to his body. Even his soul is feeling completely healthy.
He is currently at his pillar.
He took a deep breath and calmed his mind. His feather coat is still damaged. After calming his mind, he went on repair that then and there. As he repaired it, he could feel the spirit of the coat weeping a bit. It seems like it has been damaged.
Hel was not kind enough to repair the coat’s spirit.
Sam was a bit heartbroken for it. The expression of pain which didn’t even come when he was challenging one of the cruellest G.o.ds of h.e.l.l, is apparent on his face when he saw the state of his invention.
He took a deep breath after he finished the repair before diving into h.e.l.l once again. He will have to endure the onslaught of these creatures and carry on until the next task he is going to face.
While Sam is going on with his life, Hel held a meeting with the rest of the G.o.ds.
“I am thinking of bringing in the external G.o.ds into the game.”
.....
All the G.o.ds looked at her puzzlingly.
Aren’t external G.o.ds supposed to come in the middle stages?”
“What middle stages, what late stages? Everything is same now. The pace the players are going, we won’t be able to finish off all the stages before they finish off the floors. We don’t even know how long they will take to finish off the towers, but I am sure it is way less than what we expdct.
I am pretty sure they are going to finish it within the next three years at the latest.”
“You are way too confident in them. Anyway, I like that you are confident about it. I don’t have any objections in bringing them soon. It is not that much of a big deal.”
Sunwukong is the first to agree. He didn’t have much objection to the whole thing to begin with. As long as he is entertained and the rules are followed when these changes are made, he is fine with it.
“Anyway, I hope that you are not doing this to target the kid once again.”
Sun Wukong said as he looked at Hel who was about to heave a sigh.
Hel’s face stiffened a bit.
Then she shook her head wryly.
The very reason she is bringing in the external G.o.ds is to avoid p.i.s.sing Sam off too much. She knew that if the tests keep on going with the G.o.ds that are only involved in the game, then she would be forced to mess with Sam again and again.
He is on verge of his sanity and she doesn’t want anymore damage. If he keeps on messing the game up, then the remaining G.o.ds will target her and a.s.sign blame to her for the loss of the remaining players.
She didn’t want to deal with this headache for a while. That is why she is calling the external G.o.ds.
If only she could kill Sam right away, she would be able to get rid of all the headaches, but too bad, she couldn’t do that.
After some discussion, all the G.o.ds agreed. Gambler of course stayed silent until the last minute and said.
“It doesn’t matter. We all know Sam is gonna win. So, it doesn’t matter.”
That carefree att.i.tude is enough to p.i.s.s off everyone.
If possible a lot of G.o.ds would like this game to end. But at the start of the game, Gambler was clever enough to make them agree that no matter what happens, no matter what circ.u.mstances arise, they will see the game to its end.
If not for that, they would have loved to just finish this game off, since they understood that Sam is an unfair compet.i.tion. But in more ways than one, it is still entertaining to see other players trying everything they can to just catch up to Sam, even though they are failing.
“So, when is the next round going to start?”
“Maybe in another six months. That is good enough time I guess.”
The G.o.ds’ meeting ended quickly. Meanwhile, somewhere else some mortals are holding a meeting that will shake these G.o.ds that are above them.
Desolate.
Inside Sam’s tower. Philip, Jack, and Watt are looking at Sam’s video on a large projection. At the same time, the video is being broadcasted all over the Desolate and everywhere else in the Dusk organization.
So, at that exact moment, every Dusk organization branch across dozens of realms is looking at the same video and listening to Sam’s declaration of war.
“I guess we are going to war then. I am going to prepare the Fire and Metal Battle Scout units and Battle Units.
I will send a message to the rest of the combat units as well. Let’s get started.
Philip didn’t even ask any more questions. He didn’t ask how Sam is doing and he didn’t go too much into details about the incident that happened. He didn’t sit there and speculate what might have driven Sam to make such a decision.
He just blindly agreed with whatever Sam said and got ready to prepare for the war.
Watt stood up and said.
“Alright then, I will go and get the info on organizations loyal to Olympus from our information branch.”
“I will go prepare tactician teams, formation teams, etc. I will also take care of the battle gear that we might need. I bet the Inventors are looking forward to this day.”
All three of them left the room.
Meanwhile, the executives of Desolate all looked at the video and started looking for things to do. All of them immediately dove into preparation without questioning the consequences. The same sentiment has been reflected in every single person that belonged to Dusk.
In fact, within the next hour, a bunch of people ran to Dusk’s administration office in Sam’s city to volunteer for the war. They are residents of Sam’s city.
Even the students within the academies across the realms are looking forward to it.
And one particular batch of students is more into it than the others.
Sam’s students are also currently holding a meeting.
They are all looking at Habi and the recording he showed them.
“So, the teacher just declared war and you are saying that he told us to take a break and relax like some rich brats?”
Ratri looked with an incredulous expression. She didn’t have the same haggard look. She is far from it. She is a beautiful young lady now and very cheery compared to the nervous wreck she usually was.
Habi nodded.
“How can he say that? If he is going to war, how can we stay out of it as his students? I want to go to war. I want to fight. I will kill all of those Olympus guys. I will destroy the whole thing. I will devour…*mmph*”
She swung her fists around as she threw a tantrum. Madhu closed her mouth.
Ratri tried to resist, but then only did she notice that the atmosphere in the room is too serious. Everyone is looking at Habi with solemn expressions.
“So, the teacher is starting a war with all of the organizations that follow Olympus and that is just a declaration of war with Olympus. All of this just because they tried to kill you?”
Arvi asked as she clenched her fists.
Habi nodded.
Ratri is still a bit confused.
Kasi looked at her and sighed.
“I told you to study up a bit. Why are you like this?”
“What do you mean?”
“How can you not know this? It is in the library’s section about G.o.ds and their workings. It is in the exclusive section. The one that was built solely for us, Students of Sam, and a few special cases.
Those books are there solely for us to read.
Anyway, Olympus is simply a kingdom of G.o.ds if you could say so and every core member of that place is a G.o.d that is so powerful even among the rest of their peers. They are the best of the best, to say the least.
Declaring a war against Olympus and destroying all the organizations that belief in the G.o.ds of Olympus is a direct attack on these G.o.ds.
Because if these followers die, the acc.u.mulated faith will be less, and a bit of the G.o.ds’ power will be reduced.
And the teacher is not a G.o.d. At least not yet. He is far from it. Even if he eventually reaches that realm in a few decades, at this moment, he is so weak.
And he is fighting these G.o.ds at this moment, to get revenge for one of his students. And a student that is so foolish to almost lose the first-ever gift the teacher gave in such a pathetic manner.”
The last sentence was aimed at Habi. Everyone is of course angered by the fact that Habi became so smitten by the woman and gave up such an important thing.
But they couldn’t just grind him after he came back from death. Still, snide remarks are a go.
Though the students are currently focusing on the bigger issue. What should their role be in this war? Since one of them is the reason for the war and their teacher took such a great risk, they all felt a responsibility to partic.i.p.ate in this.
