Rebirth Of Abium

Chapter 48

Chapter: 48 Zivior

"K-Kill that wretch and capture that fairy."

Count Tibal furious shout echoed.

Within a few moments, his personnel guards unsheathed their swords and surrounded them.

"Lad, take both of them and escape."

Abium shook his head and thought of going all out. Well, build twelve warriors dashed towards their direction. Each one of those warriors" strength might rival above the third tier. But what made Abium hesitate a little was, he saw a few royal guards marching towards their direction.

"What are they doing here?" He wondered.

Without hesitation, Abium cast a "Red orb" spell and threw it towards the guards.

"Boom"

A loud booming sound echoed, and that fire blew away three third-tier warriors.

Abium sighed in relief when he saw they were only wounded and didn"t appear to be dead. He till now didn"t understand the original strength of this fire orb spell.

If Abium killed any one of these warriors, then this Count might use this chance and brand them as a.s.sa.s.sins. Soon he cast another three times and wounded other remaining soldiers.

Soon, he saw a few royal guards arrived near the count and said something to Count"s ears.

Abium couldn"t able to understand, so was the surrounding n.o.bles.

Royal captain shifted his head towards them and gave a wicked grin.

"Seize them!"

"Guard captain! You have no authority to arrest me!"

Baron bellowed.

"Wahaha, My lord, We have sufficient proof. You are a retainer of Margrave Eliot, who now betrayed our kingdom and sided with Holy see. We also suspect you also involved with those evil necromancers. Do you really think the royal family has any time to care about you?"

This time even Abium startled a little because this guard captain was so daring and arrogant. Even a mage would show some respect towards a n.o.ble.

"Who is backing this guy?" He shifted his gaze towards Count Tibal but soon noticed that Count also clueless about anything. But he didn"t say anything because what he wanted was that fairy.

While they were shouting at each other, Abium noticed another figure came out from inside the auction house.

He wore shining silver armor, and his appearance itself majestic and looked like a barbarian. He carried a long sword, and what made him startled even more was, elemental wind energy surrounded him like a shield. Count Tibal also noticed the new arrival and shouted towards him with an excited tone.

"Rainier, kill all of them except that fairy and Baron."

"Yes, my lord."

His eyes flickered a little as he shifted his eyes towards Abium and others.

The next moment, the air around that knight started to shiver a little, which made everyone to be a tense mode.

"He already mastered elemental power to that level!"

Soon, Rainier darted so fast, and the following that instant, he arrived in front of Baron and gave a kick towards his trunk.

Abium couldn"t able to follow that Knight"s movement.

"Fifth tier warrior!"

He instantly understood and able to only saw a blur. That Knight"s next target seems to be Richard.

Once again, Abium saw everything moved slowly, and at the same time, his lips curved upward.

Rainier thrust his sword to kill Richard, but suddenly, a fire orb crashed towards his face.

"Boom"

A loud booming sound echoed, and as the fire orb exploded. Soon the fire started to devour that Knight"s body. The impact threw that Knight away a few feet.

But Abium soon saw a white invisible protective layer appeared around him.

"He mastered wind elemental power. It"s going to be a tough battle."

Suddenly, another short figure spurred towards that Knight at a fast speed and tried to smash his hammer at that knight"s head.

"Oh? Kuran already broke through into the fourth tier."

But still, they were no match against a fifth tier warrior as he easily evaded that hammer. Then he gave a light kick and tried to use some skill.

"THAT"S ENOUGH!"

A loud, overbearing sound echoed, and soon a figure materialized in front of that Knight.

"Go to Sleep."

Rainier fell with a thud sound and laid there unconscious. He could have any time even to resist that magic spell.

"Sir Zivior! W-Why are you interfering with my business?"

"Count Tibal, It"s your fault for attacking a mage. Be grateful that I didn"t kill you here and now."

Once he said those words, Xivior walked towards the royal captain with a gloomy expression.

A few minutes before, Zivior sat in his room at his tower and skimming through the book covered in some leather skin. Although these six magic towers created just for teleportation and mages wouldn"t stay here. But because of today"s incident in the auction, he chose to stay here for the watch.

After he left the Auction house, he reported everything that happened inside the auction to his headmaster Alius. It appears Headmaster already aware of their movement and gave him this book, which contains more information about them.

He also understood these necromancers were up to no good. Also, Alius warned him to be more careful before he went to the k.u.mmiths inst.i.tute along with other students.

"Ha! I never expected necromancers to be lurking here in our kingdom."

Zivior scanned the doc.u.ment but suddenly froze. He suddenly felt a magic fluctuation appeared near to that auction.

"Who? Is it another necromancer? No! It is an elemental fire fluctuation."

He narrowed his eyes.

"Shadow eye."

A low mutter came from his mouth, and his own shadow transformed into multiple black eyes. Soon those black eyes let out a shrill cry and wings formed.

Then all those black eyes flew through the window and soon covered the sky above the Orchid auction house.

Zivior saw what was happening outside that auction house.

"What are these n.o.bles up to?"

His eyes soon noticed Abium and startled a little.

"A half-elf? So young and also has so much spirit power. But why did he built only two spells?"

"Berold! Come here."

A hooded figure entered. That figure"s face looked very hideous and wore eyes patch on the left eye. If anyone notices this figure outside, they might think of him as some kind of monster.

"Sir, what happened?"

"Do you know who is that half-elf?"

Zivior ma.s.saged his template and pointed his finger towards the screen.

"No! Sir. There is no half-elf in our inst.i.tute. He must come here for sightseeing."

Zivior pondered for a second and shook his head. He knew that the Elven kingdom wouldn"t allow their mage to tour other kingdoms.

Is he a roaming mage? His eyes soon shifted towards that fairy and somewhat understood what was happening.

"So, he came here for that fairy. Also, it appears he is an acquaintance of that Baron Auguinare."

"Well, let"s pay a visit then."

Soon he cast another spell and disappeared from there.

Now,

Zivior returned his gaze towards Abium and studied for a minute.

"Kid, do you want to enter the magic inst.i.tute?"

Abium stared at the figure with wide eyes and felt nervous a little. Zivior appearance made not only Abium but also everyone in that street startled.

Without even understanding a little, Abium nodded quickly.

"Good! Take this ring and go to the northern magic tower tomorrow."

As soon as he said that, he shifted his gaze towards Royal guard captain.

"What are you doing here, guard captain?"

"My lord, We suspect Baron Auguinare is colluding with those necromancers, and we came here to arrest him."

"Fool, do you know what you are saying? If I hear any kind of nonsense like this, I will not show you any mercy. Now scram."

Soon gave another look towards other n.o.bles and teleported from there.

Everyone stood rooted on the ground for a few seconds before the royal captain gestured his soldiers to back down.

He first thought arresting a retainer of Margrave Eliot won"t give any trouble. But when he saw a second-tier mage itself came forward and defended Baron Auguinare, he reluctantly withdrew.

"Let"s go back."

He gave a cold look at Abium then walked away. Soon Count Tibal and his soldiers also sheathed their sword and withdrew from there. Count Tibal knew when to push and when to give up.

He thought just beating an unknown apprentice mage wouldn"t cause any trouble. But he never thought Mage Zivior would come and save this half-elf. He gritted his teeth and walked away, leaving that knight on the street.

"Let"s go."

Baron spoke in a solemn tone, and soon, they moved towards the n.o.ble"s street. After a few minutes of walking, they arrived in front of a small mansion. A middle-aged man with a butler uniform welcomed them and soon arranged separate rooms.

"James, buy some expensive clothes and a good blade for this kid by tomorrow morning."

Baron took out a small pouch and gave it to that butler. Then he informed others to rest and went inside.

"Lad, we will be staying in the capital for two months. Go to rest, and you have a long day tomorrow."

Abium also noticed it"s already evening and soon followed the baron.

Soon he entered inside a room which that butler allotted and soon fell into a deep sleep.

By the time he woke up, it"s already early morning. After he had breakfast, Abium told Helena and others to take care and left the mansion in a hurry.

Baron already told him to not worry about Helena and Camilla.

"Ha! I think baron will take care of them. I am too weak even to protect myself."

He shook his head and dashed towards that northern magic tower.

Abium only heard Kaummiths magic inst.i.tute in the past and never seen it with his own eyes. He only knew it located in some secret place, and no one could able to enter without royal mages approval.

It didn"t take long for him to reach that northern magic tower. The tower was a hundred of a meter tall and dyed with black color. A large wooden gate appeared in front of his vision.

He soon noticed a man who wore an eye patch stood outside that gate.

"h.e.l.lo, mister Abium. My name is Berold, first-tier mage. Professor Zivior told me earlier about you yesterday."

Abium startled a little when he heard a hoa.r.s.e voice from that figure, and he immediately bowed.

"Sir, My name is Abium, an apprentice mage."

"Follow me."

Abium slowly followed that figure without any refusal and soon arrived inside that tower. He knew the mages built these towers just to show their might.

Not a single mage nor any soldiers appeared inside that tower. Soon Abium noticed many magic runes carved around.

"These are magic spell circles, kid. Well, It appears they carved only zero and first-tier spell circles."

Azolla"s voice echoed inside his mind as he saw Berold walked at the center of a magic rune circle.

"This way."

As soon as he walked inside that circle, Abium saw the ring Zivior gave before immediately flickered.

Then s.p.a.ce began to twist, and the surrounding started to change. Instead of the darkroom, Abium saw a large iron gate towering towards the sky appeared in front of his eyes. Soon he looked around himself and noticed they were not in the capital. Behind him were full of trees and appeared they teleported near to some forest.

"Welcome, mage Berold. Who is this brat?"

A chilling icy voice came out of nowhere made Abium shiver a little. Abium looked around the surroundings and soon noticed a small figure stood on their left side.

"Goblin?!"

"Say nothing. That will make Mister Grold angry."

Abium narrowed his eyes. Who would make goblin to be their gatekeeper? Moreover, a first-tier mage spoke respectfully towards a goblin made Abium puzzled.

"Brat, don"t look down on me. I am a second-tier shaman."

Once Grold finished his words, he licked his lips and released his spiritual power.

Abium felt his mind went boggled. Soon a dangerous aura appeared around that goblin, which caused even Berold to step back a little. Next instant, that goblin gave a wicked smile, and soon, everything went normally.

"I am sorry! Sir!" Abium gulped and hurriedly apologized.

"No matter!" That goblin revealed its ugly yellow teeth and said.

"Every time if you want to go inside, you must pay one Abyssal crystal."

Soon, Berold gave two crystals, which Abium never heard of it before.

It appears like a crystal soaked in blood and emitting scarlet lights.

That goblin nodded its head and snapped its finger. Soon Abium saw that a hundred-meter tall gate opened, and a large white tower appeared in front of him.

"This is the ten layer magic tower built with the help of prince Huggin."

Abium stared with wide eyes and soon walked towards that tower. It nearly was as tall as that star tower.
