Rebirth of the Nameless Immortal God

Chapter 2312 Fanaticism

Chapter 2312 Fanaticism

Dyon looked up into the skies, calmly staring at the naked Aritzia.

Since he had already recovered his memories, how could he possibly be surprised by this turn of events? He had obviously known at that very moment that Aritzia had always been his Junior Sister. As for how he had met her in his 109th lifetime, he didn"t care, quite frankly. For a person with his junior sister"s means, the number of methods she could have used simply numbered too many. Simply put, if even the Dragon King who was among the lowest rung of the Immortal Plane could leave a soul behind to play around with, how could his Junior Sister not do so?

However, this still answered one of his long standing questions…

In his first life, he had never known that his junior was a Sapientia. She had never had a last name nor had she had any hallmarks of being a Sapientia. But, knowing the characteristics of this family, this hardly mattered.

The Sapientia were a people known for acc.u.mulating talents, regardless of their background. One had to remember that when he met Aritzia in his 109th life, she placed him on her candidate list for potential husbands. This wasn"t a practice that just the mortal plane Sapientia had.

Whether Aritzia had always been a Sapientia, or if she joined at a later date… it didn"t matter. All that mattered was that she was with them now.

"Dad… Who is she?"

Dyon"s gaze narrowed. "She"s my master"s second disciple."

Little Alauna"s eyes widened. None of this made any sense to her. Wasn"t her dad"s master the 25th White Mother? How had she gotten an Immortal as a disciple, and a second disciple at that? There was too much she didn"t understand.

Dyon turned toward his daughter and smiled. "Don"t worry, I"ll explain all of these things to you another time. But for now… your father has some things to deal with."

Now that his wives had awakened their memories, Dyon was confident in their ability to resist even if a new army of void beasts came. With them suppressed by the Heavens, there was no way that women who once rocked the Immortal Plane wouldn"t be capable of protecting themselves. He could leave his daughter in their care.

"I"ll be back." Dyon said faintly, not turning back.

He could sense several fiery gazes landing on his back, their meaning and emotions clear. However, even with this being the case, he still didn"t turn back to see any of them. The next time he laid eyes on them, he would never leave their side again. This is what he swore silently to himself.

He didn"t form the feeling into words, nor did it even form a thought in his mind. It was vague and subconscious, yet it burned with a will that seemed to drown everything.

"Come back safely." Ri said with a soft voice, speaking out the words they all wanted to say.

Dyon didn"t even nod as he took a step forward, appearing tens of kilometers away in a flash. Was there a need for such affirmations? He was Dyon Sacharro. In his life, there had never been anything other than victory. And today… wouldn"t be the day that changed.

Dyon crossed by his junior sister"s side. Their cheeks faced one another, but neither sent their gazes to meet.

They stood there silently for a moment, one looking forward and the other looking backward. At least, that"s what it seemed from the other"s perspective. In both of their minds, though, they were the one"s looking straight ahead, piercing forward toward the path of enlightenment.

"I"ve always said that I was the only woman worthy of you, First Brother. I have to say, seeing you suddenly have so many by your side makes this little sister of yours feel very uncomfortable."

Aritzia spoke faintly. The genuine happiness she had felt after seeing Dyon faded.

Initially, when she had seen Dyon, he had been her whole world. But, Alauna"s voice had shattered that illusion. After that, she not only saw his daughter, but also the group of women who followed behind him.

She scanned each of them one by one, but they met her gaze with indifferent expressions of her own. Their loftiness filled her with anger.

They may have been powerful women of the Immortal Plane, but what were they worth before her? None of them could match her in talent, strength or beauty. What right did they have to be chosen by her First Brother?

If they were better, if her First Brother had chosen with more care and attention, they wouldn"t have all died, leaving him behind with more and more pain each time. Wasn"t she still here? Couldn"t she have been by his side all this time? Why did he have to continuously reject her?

"Our thoughts and values do not align." Dyon responded simply.

Aritzia trembled slightly. She had heard these words before, but it had been too long since the last time. With so many years having pa.s.sed, their sting was still the same.

"… Don"t you like your arrogance? Your victories? Lording over others with your superiority acting as your sovereignty…? I wonder, First Brother. If I pummel your pride into the dirt, will you accept me, then?"

Dyon tilted his head back and belted out a laughter that made Soul Rend Planet tremble.

"In this life, the last, or the next, there will never be anything that can trample I, Dyon Sacharro, beneath their feet. Come, let this Senior Brother broaden your horizons!"

Dyon"s thunderous voice resonated with the universe, causing qi across the lands to sing. It was as though the world itself recognized his words as the truth.

He shot into the distance, seemingly not worried that Aritzia would attack his wives and daughter in his absence.

Aritzia stood silently for a moment, scanning through Ri, to Clara, past Amphorae, Luna and sweeping past Jade to land on Alauna. Each and every one of them looked back toward her with a calm and tranquil expression. She seared each one of their visages into her mind before turning and disappearing as well.

**

Madeleine"s white dress fluttered in the wind. Qi of white, gold and violet swirled around her body as she furiously attacked.

Despite the wounds on her body, her face was blooming with a gorgeous smile that made one"s heart palpitate. She was simply too beautiful. The way her delicate palms struck forward, the way she elegantly glided across the air, the way heavenly lights seemed to follow her every movement… She was simply carved of perfection.

Corpses of void beasts fell around her. Some were the product of her own hand, but at this moment, she was continuously forcing Emperor Saerus into a corner.

Her attacks alternated in a wild fury. Sometimes she would flip her palm, causing a delicately embroidered fan to appear and release a devastating scythe of qi. At other times she would smash her palm into her opponent"s body, shattering whatever semblance of defense they held. However, none was more devastating than when she spread her arms into the skies, causing qi from all areas to surge toward her. Somehow, even compared to Luna, her abilities seemed to be a step beyond as though she was the true Child of the Heavens.

Saerus" expression had long since become solemn. He looked around with a narrowed gaze, fighting off Madeleine"s a.s.sault with all he had.

He had just been sitting back leisurely, watching Madeleine have to pull out all the strength she had to take down a few void beasts. But, in the next moment, a ma.s.sive army had appeared, causing him to have no choice but to stop holding back.

At this point, let alone the dozens of void beasts that had been attacking Madeleine, there were now tens of thousands in the skies fighting this army, but it was practically a one-sided slaughter.

A golden abacus appeared above his head as he faced Madeleine once more, but he couldn"t react before a small palm had already smashed against his chest, causing him to slam into the protective barrier of Planet Sapientia.

Both Madeleine and he coughed up a mouthful of blood at the same time. Even in that moment, he had still managed to counter attack, replying to Madeleine palm with a kick to her torso.

He wiped the blood from his lip, a savage glint flickering in his eye before he recovered his calm.

"Even if by some miracle you managed to defeat me… Do you think all of this would come to an end just like that?" Saerus" lip curled into a slight sneer. "Are you smiling because you think you actually have a chance at victory?"

Madeleine didn"t respond to this immediately, her bright smile not fading. How could she not tell something so simple? These void beasts were obviously under the control of the Sapientia, but to now, the only actual Sapientia fighting was the man before her. She didn"t believe that this was really the only man the Sapientia had…

"No, I"m smiling because my husband is back." Madeleine, who was in a good mood, was seemingly also much more talkative. "And, he told me to kick your a.s.s."

In her mind, since her husband was back now, their victory was guaranteed.

Her aura continued to surge, her injuries rapidly healing. Such a thing made Saerus grow more serious. The only reason he had been able to fight on par with this woman was because the void beasts had already severely wounded her. But, now…

He could hardly react before, his pupils constricted. He looked toward his left, only to find a blood wound where his left arm had been. He could only watch as his limb flipped in the air as though it was a frisbee.

"So, I"ll ask you again. How do you want to die?"

Madeleine was so bright, radiating blinding white lights, that Saerus had to squint just to look at her. How was this even the same woman? How had she suddenly gotten so much more powerful?

How could he know that not only had Dyon contacted her… but he had also allowed his wife to retrieve her repressed memories…? Compared to the fighter she had been just a moment ago, she was too many levels beyond.

Saerus couldn"t even react before a searing pain shot through his chest.

This time, when he looked down, he found that there was nothing below his neck remaining of his body…

His eyes dimmed. Even in his last moments, he couldn"t believe he had died like this.

"My death doesn"t matter…" The last trace of light in his gaze was filled with fanaticism. "… When Lord grasps The Beginning, it will all be over…"
