@@Maybe that"s why I dislike Hypocrite so much. He reminds me of myself. He"s not willing to face his problems and instead continues to run away and ignore him. But in his case, he"s important to the people around him, whereas I"m not even from this world. And the fact that I can"t help him makes me hate both of us even more. Before my thoughts wander further, I"m picked up by a hand. I take notice of my surroundings for the first time in a while and realize we already made it to Manbun"s base.
Eh? When did that happen? How long was I in thought for? Ahh, that doesn"t matter. The sooner I can get to the main tree, the faster I can bring the wall down!
I was picked up by Hypocrite"s hand as Leopard slouched against a wall, panting heavily. It looks like he pushed himself too far. Hypocrite says,"Stay here and rest, I"ll take her to the tree." Leopard grunts in affirmation.
The main tree! I"m finally here! No more constant tiredness! I"m not sure if it"s because I"m excited or because I"m close to the main tree, but a burst of energy welled up inside of me.
I flew towards Leopard, not as fast as I"d usually be able to, but I still flew. I landed next to his animal-shaped head and hugged it. Squeezing it will all my strength, which wasn"t much, I exclaimed," Thank you!" I showed him a bright smile before plopping myself on Hypocrite"s shoulder.
I truly was thankful. It always felt nice being around Leopard. He could always bring a certain lively atmosphere wherever he went. I really admire that about him and I"m really happy he came with me on this trip. I"m happy he wanted to spend time with me.
Trying to stabilize myself on Hypocrite"s shoulder, my vision started turning blurry. That took more out of me than I thought it would. "We should hurry." I say to the fuzzy image in front of me.
