She wasn"t sure how exactly Kisame manged to sleep like a log on her back for so long without moving an inch. Yomi sighed as she flew across the sky, they needed a base, but at the same time they needed to make themselves known. She couldn"t even create a base, maybe if she got kakazu the heart of a wood style jutsu user he might be able to do something about it. Unfortunately, she didn"t know any current wood style jutsu users and she wasn"t ready to seek out the snake sage yet.Yomi sighed once again, they really needed to set up a base. She had to be quick if she wanted to save the original Akatsuki, they would start being wrapped in one by one if she wasn"t careful, except for deidera, she had time with him. Should she try and entice them in the future after they had formed? But they chances of them actually changing their stance was thin, almost impossible unless there was some kind of G.o.dly intervention.
Back to the matter of a base, maybe they should live in a cave? But that didn"t suit her, such a place would be cold and uncomfortable. Maybe she should check out konoha again? But she was just there a few days ago... ok! First things first! Finding a base!
It has to be in a minor village, a village that no one would notice, it would be insignificant and unpopular that no one would think twice before checking in such a place. The weather had to be tolerable too, she wasn"t willing to live in a dessert or to live in a place where it rained all the time or where it was unbearable cold. She wasn"t willing to go back to Kisame"s hometown as well, they would be so prejudiced against the poor baby shark. Yomi"s eyes immediately brightened up as she remembered - very vaguely- about a village which was destroyed, Shangri-la, she remembered reading about it vaguely when she had been checking out the anime after seeing a music video.
Her mood naturally wasn"t as serious as before so she attempted to tell Kakazu but then she suddenly realised that they were no longer alone. They were several chakra fluctuations around her, mostly likely ninjas from a village, she wasn"t sure which one. Someone was also trying to suppress her chakra. She glanced at Kakazu, he also noticed that they were being followed so he had decided to help her, she smiled.
"Kakazu" she said in a cold voice contrary to her facial expression. The immortal stared at her and she handed him over another bad of gold, Kakazu smirked and he soon dropped behind to deal with the threat. Originally he wouldn"t have bothered, but she had money, so he might as well kill off the flies around them. Yomi once again felt grateful for her powers. Because of it she had been able to make gold from dead skin cells on her hand; it was in-equivalent exchange, the direct opposite of alchemy.
She could control her body by her imagination, if she wanted her dead skin cells to turn to gold she could fully do that. This power.... if you have no imagination it was impossible to utilise it and exploit it properly, luckily enough she had the bare minimum.
She looked back at Kakazu, she smirked, "Leave one alive, inform him about our "Sōzō"."
Then she flew off to Shangri-la, Kakazu had brilliant tracking skills, he would find them. It was for the best that the person she had on her side was Kakazu, he was powerful and partially immortal so he wouldn"t die easily. She had to find a wood release"s heart for him. It would be useful if they needed to move bases. Her eyes widened as she figured out the answer to their problems, now all they needed was a surgeon, or in their case, sasori. Sasori created one of the most toxic poisons in the series, and he would know how to do a heart replacement surgery.
So all she needed to do was to find sasori .... after finding their new base.
With that thought her flying speed increased as she decided to head towards the valley of lies.
But then she suddenly halted in the air when she realised, she had no idea where the valley of lies was. The sky above them let out a thunderous sound and Yomi found herself groaning in frustration, it was about to rain and there wasn"t even a village for miles!
She might actually have to seek refuge in a cave.
She was extremely unwilling!
Kisame yawned and rubbed his eyes. Yomi awed at how cute he was forgetting at she was younger than him.
"Nee-chan, where are we?" Kisame asked looking around at the dark cave. His wide curious eyes stole her heart instantly. Yomi engulfed the young shark in a hug reminding herself to have as much kids as possible when she grew up so she could give all of them a hug.
Kisame blushed remembering that she was younger than him. After a long cuddle session Yomi found herself drifting to sleep. Her consciousness was lured away by kisame"s warmth and the sound of rain drops.
Kisame was a bit confused as to why she didn"t reply him, but he let her hug him even though his face was as red as a tomato. When he heard her gentle snores she smiled. No matter how awesome his nee-chan was, she was still just a kid like him. He hadn"t seen her sleep since they saved him so she deserved her rest.
Kakazu wasn"t bothered by the rain, instead he quite enjoyed it. It was cheap.
"Let"s get this over with." He said in a cold voice to the konoha ninjas. She had pained good money for him to kill them off, he wasn"t willing to make any mistakes.
The ninjas immediately attacked, not wasting time. Kakazu was S ranked so they didn"t have to luxury of time. The highest among them was Anbu who should be able to stand a chance. But unknown to them Kakazu wasn"t in the mood to play, so every strike he felt was deadly without fault.
It didn"t take long to overpower them, it also didn"t take long to force them to a corner and kill all of them it one.
And to that one ninja he said, "return to konoha and warn them not to anger the boss my organisation! Sōzō!"
Naturally the ninja wasted no time running away, he was only a chunin, there was no way he could stand up to an S ranked criminal.
Kakazu didn"t stay a moment longer and headed out to find Tsuki Yomi. If he was lucky and she didn"t get lost he would be able to find her easily. Lucky for him the G.o.ddess of luck was on his side. He found them easily in a pretty small cave, each hugging the other in deep slumber.
He was quick to remember that they were only children, and no matter how strong the girl pretended to be she was only what? Five?
But that forced him to wonder, what kind of luck did she have to meet a mysterious white ball of fluff that gave her such powers? She must be the illegitimate daughter of the G.o.ddess of luck.
He sighed and sat down. He then began to question his sanity, why hang around a bunch of kids? But then he would remember that in the future she had shown him, he had died. And then he swallowed his unwillingness.
If he wanted to carry on living then he had to stick with the brats. He glanced at kisame, the sinner kisame received her memories the better, what was she waiting for? For him to get older?
What a ridiculous kid.
