Amelia punched the stone floor with all her might cracking the ground and destroying everything within a ten meter radius...
She was in the middle of the crater, breathing heavily, she wasn"t exhausted at all but just tired.
"Princess, you have been training for two days straight, It"s not good for your body!" She heard the voice of her maid... and best friend.
"..."
Amelia did not respond to her friend"s words and looked down.
"Amelia, are you alright? What did that man do to you?!" Her friend urged her to speak, she then sighed and smiled at her maid.
"He didn"t do anything... but... our encounter made me realise just how weak I am! He didn"t even try to win and I... let them die..." She grit her teeth in frustration and disappointment in herself...
"I thought that I was strong because I was a Divine mage... but it was nothing infront him! And he doesn"t even seem that evil... he is annoying, ruthless and he did kill my people, but when I heard the voices of those inside the city... he hadn"t killed the civilians..." She mumbled.
Her maid hugged her gently with a smile.
"I still don"t understand how and why exactly you need to bring peace to the continent... but whatever you do, don"t give up!" She said, looking into Amelia"s eyes.
"Charlotte..." Amelia whispered dreamily and stated, "You know... I heard that the Prince of the Lunar empire is in a relationship with his maid, do you think we should come out aswell?" Amelia asked her.
"I"m not so sure if people will accept us, h.o.m.ophobia is still a thing in the world..." Charlotte smiled sadly as Amelia sighed.
"Remember when I said that I came from another world?" Amelia asked her lover who nodded in response.
"I think the prince too is someone like me... you said that the world had only swords and magic, but right after he was born, the Lunar empire has gotten weapons from my world!" She informed Charlotte who widened her eyes in shock.
"Just... what is your world?" Charlotte mumbled in awe as Amelia giggled and kissed her cheek.
"I will tell you at night..." She then blew out hot air from her mouth into Charlotte"s ear, her maid wriggled under her administrations and moaned.
"Let"s go away, I sense a few people coming to the training grounds..." Amelia said and carried Charlotte away.

Alexis arrived back to the Fort, all soldiers sent to the war had arrived, this included his own army of forty thousand men.
"Alexis, you came!" He heard Sophia"s relieved voice and turned to her curiously.
"What happened?" He asked.
"...It"s just... my father..." She stuttered and twirled a few strands of her hair and looked down.
"Are you getting married?" He asked her weirdly.
"NO YOU IDIOT!" She shouted at him earning a few heads turning to the duo.
"Me, an idiot? You are the one not talking properly..." Alexis snorted and glanced at her.
Sophia, although wearing a military uniform, has curves that couldn"t be hidden, the uniform gave her a very refined charm...
She looked like a cold secretary that would force him to work.
Realising he was getting distracted, Alexis cleared his throat and took a quick glance at her face, hoping she didn"t notice his slip up...
Sophia stepped on his foot and glared at him coldly.
"What did I do?" He asked her while raising an eyebrow, Florestine was such a good girl compared to this... woman.
"Were you listening to what I said?" She asked him menacingly as Alexis smiled wryly.
"Nope, can you repeat it?" He mumbled and looked at her as she blushed.
"I... I really like you... and I told my father about it..." She said in an inaudible voice as Alexis facepalmed.
"..."
"Look Sophia, I really appreciate your feelings towards me but I don"t love you... maybe "like", but not love. And even if we did, what about Florestine? It"s best if we let things flow..." He spoke to her gently as she nodded slowly...
"Rejections hurt..." She noted, feeling an unexplainable pain in her chest.
"This is awkward..." Alexis mused.
Sophia then left, not before she secretly wiped a tear that flowed down her face, leaving Alexis standing in the middle of the Fort...
"Time will tell..." Alexis told himself and walked over to a group of soldiers to check on his horse.

"I looked like an idiot..." Sophia thought as she covered her face with a pillow and trembled every once in a while.
"...why doesn"t he love me?" She asked herself and sighed.
"Didn"t he say that he likes me?!" She then remembered the few words he had spoken and became elated but frowned again.
"Maybe as a friend... or a person?" Sophia mused.
"!! I"ll have to have conversation with Florestine about this..." She sighed sadly.
Sophia"s chances in gaining Alexis" love was close to null, she sometimes called herself a hopeless romantic, this debacle between her and the crown prince was a one sided love story...
Should she finish it and let it become a minor side story related to her life story and move on... or will it be a chapter in it?
Sophia did not want to be married to someone whom she has no idea of, besides... everyone that she met were not as interesting as the prince...
All those smelly b.a.s.t.a.r.ds ever wanted was to get inbetween her legs!
She would rather die than be humiliated by such unworthy men, her body was not for political purposes... she is not an object to be used as a chip for influence, if she can"t be together with the man she loves, then she would live her life alone... or die!
Sophia then moved around her bed violently, throwing around the blanket and pillows...
"Florestine you b.i.t.c.h! I won"t let you take the prince all to yourself..." She hissed as her eyes shone in determination.

Florestine who was still in bed suddenly shivered and got a bad feeling.
"My "some b.i.t.c.h will steal the prince" senses are tingling..." She growled.
"Who is it?!" She shouted at no one in particular and suddenly came to a conclusion.
"...that harlot..."
"Sophia!" She spat out, her tone laced with poison...
"...She"s not that bad, as long as she comes to speak to me about it!" Florestine nodded happily and grinned.
"That b.i.t.c.h"s ego won"t let her talk to me!" She laughed and shook her head at what she was thinking about and went back to sleep.

A couple of weeks later, the army returned back to the Capital, they were called heroes, cheered for hours long and even cat called by a few women.
Alexis decided not to wear the pickelhaube as it was too annoying to wear the d.a.m.n thing, it was hard and made his head sweaty, his horse walked proudly along the stone paved roads.
Since this was the first time many have seen the Crown prince"s face, they were mesmerized and looked at him dreamily.
Sophia scoffed at this and moved closer to Alexis which made most of the female population frown and glare at her in jealousy.
She smirked, but then frowned herself... the real winner was Florestine who had stolen the prince from her!
"Oi... what the h.e.l.l are you doing?" Alexis asked Sophia who smiled gently at him and shook her head.
While it was a simple act from her, Alexis was lost in reverie for a split second...
Sophia was the most beautiful woman in the Empire, maybe even in the continent!
Only Florestine could match upto her beauty... but even then she was lacking...
"Maybe it"s the figure" Alexis thought and was riding on his horse, distracted.
Celer, his horse realising that it"s rider was distracted decided to neigh and raise itself up, the black stallion looked majestic, its pitch black fur glistened in the sunlight...
Alexis almost shouted in surprise but controlled himself and the horse, calming it down and glaring at it.
Seeing the horse huff at him, Alexis twitched an eyebrow and sighed.

The soldiers were rewarded at the various bases they were sent to and the Generals got medals, all this happened after the entrance into the city.
There was currently a Rewarding Ceremony for the Generals of the war...
Alexus was now seated next to Sophia who was intently listening to what Aurelius was talking about at the podium.
"Alexis, you are to be present during the peace talks!" Aurelius informed his son who looked shocked for a second but then later nodded.
The Generals cheered and clapped at this, while many would think it was for training, it was also to show his influence on the decisions of the Empire takes on certain circ.u.mstances...
"Sophia, your father is my best friend... he is very proud of you! So am I, for your meritorious service done for the Empire, I grant you the t.i.tle of Earl!" He declared and smiled at the girl who he knows has a liking to his son.
She seemed shocked but accepted the reward in daze.
Sophia then sat down next to Alexis and rolled her eyes to glance at him.
"Congratulations, Lady Sophia..." He snickered as she smiled happily.
Once the entire event was over, Alexis walked over to his father.
"Father, why am I going to the meeting?" He asked Aurelius who looked at him with a smirk.
"You are to play your mind games... They hate you, this will cloud their judgement, try to strike their nerves with your words." Aurelius said in a low voice as Alexis almost laughed.
He then shook his head at the words of his father and excused himself and left.
When he came out, Sophia was still waiting for him outside as if she were a dutiful wife...
"Your highness!" He heard a familiar voice and turned to the voice.
"Hey" He greeted Florestine who hugged him and rubbed her cheek on his chest, Alexis sweatdropped but had a fond smile on his face...
The couple heard an annoyed noise and turned to Sophia who looked very irritated.
"Oh my... Are you jealous?" Florestine goaded and kissed Alexis on his cheek, the floor under Sophia cracked as she sent a telepathic message to Florestine.
"(Hag, we need to talk!)" Sophia said with a smug smile and turned around, her hair swayed with her turn as she walked out of the building but not before trying to entice Alexis who turned to Florestine awkwardly...
"...Your highness, do you like... big rears?" Florestine asked him curiously as Alexis coughed violently and walked away.

"Alexis, are you ready?" Aurelius asked his son as they were both seated inside the Imperial Carriage.
"Yeah, not necessarily a big deal, we are just talking to the losers... we can demand many things and they won"t be able to reject!" Alexis stated and glanced outside through the window.
"If I didn"t see them, I wouldn"t know that we had Moon Paladins..." Alexis mumbled and turned to Aurelius who snorted.
"To the common people, Moon Paladins are almost like a Myth, the higher ups have heard of them, the Emperor orders them, the Empire hides them..." Aurelius quoted the words of the First Moon Paladin.
Moon Paladins, a special force belonging to the Imperial family, extremely loyal and devoted to serving the Emperor...
They wear matte white armour that covers their entire body and face, leaving no spot that resembles human skin.
Their helmets leave a thin slit for the eyes to see, but even then you cannot see their eyes...
Alexis hummed in acknowledgement of Aurelius" words.
"These guys are good, really good... Not even I knew of them!" He thought and sighed.
"What? Don"t want the throne now?" Aurelius smickered as Alexis smiled.
"Yeah, maybe you can rule until I produce an heir or something... give or take another twenty years on the throne!" Alexis chuckled seeing his Father pale in fright.
"By the way, Alexis, try not to get them too angry..." His father warned him.
"But I have to use chance I get to mock them right?" Alexis asked him.
Aurelius shrugged, "Depends... just make sure they don"t leave immediately..." He sighed.

The Kingdom of Enleitz resembled that of an occupied territory belonging to two nations...
The Capital city was patrolled by Lunar soldiers and Satellian soldiers alike, they were very easy to be distinguished considering that the two armies have different uniforms, the Lunarians wear all black outfits while the Satellians wear orange uniforms...
The common populace paid no heed to this as this has happened countless times throughout their lifetimes, such was the cost of living in a weak and peaceful nation.
But do not be mistaken, the Kingdom of Enleitz is weak when compared to the Four great nations, not the other countries...
They could go toe to toe with any other, large country.
The reason for this was because the Kingdom was peaceful, it was appealing to many of the n.o.bles, veteran mages and soldiers from the four great nations many of whom were tired of fighting and decided to live there...
Also, the Kingdom of Enleitz was very prosperous and definitely had the highest standard of living in the continent as many business owners are p.r.o.ne to starting their businesses in a peaceful setting.
And since the country was prosperous, they could pay money to any of the Four Great nations to protect them...
Therefore, if the Kingdom of Enleitz was attacked by any country, the four great nations would retaliate almost immediately!
The Imperial Carriage of the Lunar empire was steadily moving towards the Palace complex of the King of Enleitz, where the Peace Conference would be held on.
Alexis noticed the Satellians glare at the Carriage and the Lunarian soldiers, he also saw his soldiers making fun of the Satellians and shook his head while chuckling...
