Deep in the night, when the moon was above the head."Why? Why? Why did you betray me?"
"Victor.... you are dead."
"You did not jilt me. No, I dumped you. I did." Kicking a c.o.ke can fiercely, which landed precisely in a trash can.
Ash was surprised hearing a soft delicate voice of a woman, who was ranting and raving her supposedly ex.
With her back facing him in a white dress as a ghost in the deep night, she was walking in front of him. Her black hair reaching shoulders had distinct red strips shaded like fire. Even though it now looked messed up similar to a birds nest.
"Everyone is in pain. The world is in pain." he thought.
Ash whose heart was sliced by the betrayal of Clara, couldn"t still get her out of his head. Sleepless, with her thoughts hara.s.sing him. He strolled out for fresh air but did not expect to see a girl suffering the same fate.
"Thud..." the girl fell on the ground all of sudden.
His face changed, but he still didn"t run to her, calmly walking to her side he kneeled.
"It was a beauty." Looking at her beautiful face. She didn"t look like a drunkard. He didn"t even smell alcohol on her. Her red bangs stuck on her forehead due to sweat, eyes closed, she looked pale. Felling her weak and feeble breath, he panicked.
She wasn"t drunk.
She Fainted!
There was no one around. No cars, no shops, no taxi.
Placing her on his back, he ran anxiously to the hospital. The nearest one was still a long way.
As he was running, the person on his back opened her eyes. a.n.a.lyzing her situation, she hit him on his shoulder.
"I"m awake. Put me down," she said.
Checking her pulse "Pulse rate is decreased. Blood pressure fell. It was a syncope." she declared in a calm voice.
"What are you waiting for? Go to the hospital." he looked more desperate than the woman.
Looking at her impa.s.sive face he calmed down," Do you have any illness?"
"No."
"Then why did you faint?" he appeared troubled.
"It was because of stress. I know," she stated with a blank face.
"By the way where were you planning to take me?" she asked in a doubtful tone
"Emergency... Hospital obviously." Ash defended. "Do I look like a pervert"
"Want to join me for a drink?" she asked.
"Ahh? Are you mad? Drinking in such a condition. You need to rest."
"I know my body better. It is because I didn"t eat anything. Buy me food and drinks." she said pulling his hands.
----
In a cheap bar with noisy music, the two individuals sharing the same pain were grieving of their lost love together.
"Drink! Drink it all... One shot!"
"What do you do?"
"Me? I save lives" she said with a proud smile.
"A doctor" he guessed. She doesn"t have a temperament of a doctor though. And look at that red hair. Does the wild hair suit a doctor?
Totally drunk Ash looked at the girl with a piercing gaze.
"When did you get here?" he smiled.
"Since you are here now, tell me you never did such things. Never deceived me. Never played with my feelings."
"Tell me you didn"t!" pulling her wrist he questioned.
"Ah_" Awakened by her voice he looked up. It wasn"t Clara.
