Whispers were echoing all around as Junichiro strode down the hall to his office within the clan police station. He knew exactly not what, but who everyone was talking about. It was his second son Jiro, the rising genius of the Uchiha clan and second son of the current clan head. Almost everyone in the village knew about Jiro now. Jiro"s education on the academy basics started when he turned three years old and it ended when he turned four. He mastered the basics of math within days and it only took him months to master the others subjects. Junichiro was very proud of his son, but with that genius came a whole bunch of problems.

Jiro gained a following of many clan elders wanting him to be put in as the clan heir. That might not have been a problem, but many clan elders wanted their grand kids to get along with Jiro because they also a.s.sumed that Junichiro would give in to their wishes and install Jiro as clan head. Jiro did not appreciate the efforts of other kids to get to know him. According to Jiro, he had warned the kids multiple times, but they would not listen so he used his sharingan to put the kids into a Genjutsu.

The Genjutsu forced the kids to be stuck in their own mindscape for some self-reflection. The usual method of inflicting pain or using chakra was not working so the Yamanaka had to be called over in order to personally a.s.sist in helping the kids to get out of their own mind. This incident gave Junichiro the chills. Jiro"s genius had him already develop a Genjutsu that was immune to the common ways of dispelling a Genjutsu.

Junichiro also did not know how to reconnect Fugaku and Jiro. Because Jiro and Fugaku were twins and brothers, Junichiro believed that they would have a connection between them that would make communication easier. Unfortunately, that was proven wrong many times with Jiro and Fugaku one time spending weeks in a cold war. Fugaku and Jiro had once gotten along decently with both not bothering the other, but Jiro sped away in terms of education and left Fugaku in the dust. Furthermore, the attention that Jiro was receiving came from Fugaku"s former friends so their brotherly relationship was at best neutral.

Akane also tried her best to reconcile Fugaku and Jiro, but she realized that it might be better for them to be separate from each other. Fugaku and Jiro did not actively look for the other when they were separate from the other, but once they were together, they fought against each other like bitter enemies. Fugaku was occupying one of the training grounds with a Taijutsu instructor and learning from him. It didn"t take a lot of effort for Akane to realize that Fugaku was also above average in all he did but, it wasn"t comparable to Jiro with his monstrous learning ability that got enhanced by his sharingan.

Fugaku was training with his instructor, Jin Uchiha. He was learning how to use shurikens and kunai. All Uchiha had to be capable of hitting the target from 5 meters away with an accuracy of 4 out of 5 using shuriken and kunai. Fugaku was capable of hitting 5 out of 5 so he was practicing from 10 meters away. Soon he would progress to moving targets. Jin was proud of Fugaku"s accomplishments, but Fugaku was not satisfied.

"Next we can progress onto the uses of Taijutsu after a short break"

"No need for a break I can continue onto Taijutsu." Fugaku looked at Jin with determined eyes.

Jin inspected Fugaku, then shook his head. "Training to your limit everyday is not healthy Fugaku sama."

"I refuse" stated Fugaku. He recalled the conversation he had with his brother after Jiro refused to hang out with the other Uchiha children.

Fugaku looked at Jiro with a ma.s.sive amount of frustration in his eyes. "Why do you refuse to listen to me, but not want to be the clan head?"

Jiro stared back with indifference leaking from his eyes. "Why should I listen to somebody who is beneath me?" Jiro glanced at Fugaku then gained a thoughtful gleam in his eye. "If you can impress me or prove to be my equal in any one suject, I will at best take note of your orders".

Fugaku knew that he currently stood a tiny bit of a chance against Jiro in any subject that was physical such as Taijutsu or shurikenjutsu because Jiro did not focus as much on his physical training, preferring to work on chakra control. Unfortunately, intelligence was out as an option because Jiro was smarter.

Junichiro and Jiro were watching from the trees as Fugaku continued to train. Fugaku had been training for months and Fugaku was exhausted. His body had been on the verge of shutting down after every session resulting in him operating on will power alone. The toll of such an exhaustive and extended training left Fugaku"s body in shambles with his mind not fairing much better. Junichiro sneaked in a glance at Jiro to see if he was affected in any way, but he was met with an impa.s.sive look on Jiro"s face.

"So, are you going to stop him father?"

Junichiro shook his head indicating that he would allow Fugaku to continue the brutal regime of training. Junichiro was very approving of Fugaku"s training as that sort of dedication would normally only be present in ninja who had experienced life or death battles in which they had narrowly pa.s.sed by.
