Jiro stared at the piece of paper in front of him. He had spent most of his day in his room just trying to come up with some semblance of an idea to apply in order to strengthen a person"s bones as well as skin. His room was bare with little to no items that personalized it. The obligatory upside down fan symbol was placed near one of his windows though.

There was still another twelve days left before the tournament. Personally, Jiro did not care much about winning the tournament. All he wanted to do was pa.s.s and become a Chunin so that he could move with greater freedom as well as get out of the village. Personally, he felt as if the village was boring after exploring it for a couple years. There had only been two places that Jiro had not thoroughly explored. One was the Forest of Death which seemed to promise an adventure if he went deeper into it.

The other place he hadn"t gone to was the entertainment district within Konoha. Jiro had seen plenty of people, especially males visit that area. For whatever reason, the place was full of "tea shops", but Jiro had pa.s.sed by that area with Jiraiya once and the white haired teen had stared at the place with a complicated gaze. As a tear rolled down his cheek, Jiraiya whispered:

"Good bye holy land. I once went in order to become a true man, but now I will never come back. Tsunade is worth more, good bye... my lovelies."

After that incident, Jiro had no doubts that the "tea shop" area was full of entertainers.

Jiro brought his head back from memory lane and grabbed a scroll before beginning to write onto it with his goals. After becoming a Chunin, he was going to learn the secrets of sealing from the Uzumaki"s or somebody in the village hidden by whirling tides. As for an immediate goal, Jiro was going to find some sort of way to permanently make a person"s body stronger.

Jiro felt a sort of purpose after looking at his kind of pitiful two current goals before he dove back into his mind in hopes of being enlightened. As he continued to run through his memories in hopes of finding some inspiration, Jiro remembered something that he saw as interesting. Kana had an outer layer of feathers and an inner layer. The skin of the human body was like a layer so if he could get some kind of an outer layer for the body then it would solve his issue.

Jiro continued to think about this idea of forming something like a second skin. The idea of forming some sort of second skin seemed plausible, especially with Orochimaru having his snakes which shed their skin or Kana who could shed her damaged feathers. The room was empty once more as the second heir to the Uchiha clan dashed to find the teen who could summon snakes.

------------------

Orochimaru faced Jiro with obvious interest in his eyes. The proposal of Jiro"s to create some method for a second skin that could absorb damage was very promising, especially if it could be done by natural means that did not excessively rely on chakra. The two discussed for some time before both felt that the atmosphere was lacking some sort of brightness to it.

Neither would admit it to Jiraiya, but both felt that Jiraiya would be a good person to add simply because of his brighter personality. Soon enough Jiraiya was dragged into the group"s discussion much to his displeasure. He had been studying Tsunade"s friends as well as what she liked to eat or where she visitied. If anyone asked Jiraiya about it, he would deny stalking her. On the contrary, any person could tell that Jiraiya was putting effort into impressing Tsunade.

Although the group continued to discuss with Jiraiya chiming in every once in a while, no progress was made beyond the idea of creating a second layer of skin. The pile of crumpled scrolls continued to grow as the boys discarded various ideas. Jiraiya had spent most of his time thinking about Tsunade when he suddenly realized that Tsunade was a medic. She would most likely be the key to advancing the idea of Jiro"s. It also helped that he was getting desperate to meet her as well as get out this discussion.

"Tsunade is a medic. She would definitely be able to help us see if this idea is actually feasible."

The duo turned to Jiraiya before both of them rushed out of the room. Jiraiya sputtered in astonishment as well as anger before closing the door to Orochimaru"s house and leaping onto the roofs to chase after them. The white haired teen quickly caught sight of his teammates entering into the hospital. Jiraiya entered the building to witness Orochimaru talking to the medic at the front while Jiro was standing near the back of the entrance.

Jiro waited patiently with Jiraiya as Orochimaru walked back with a sigh.

"The medic said that we would have to wait for Tsunade"s shift to end."

Jiro followed the statement up with a question asking when Tsunade"s shift ends.

"It ends in three hours."

The snake teen and eagle boy turned to Jiraiya. Their hopes of meeting Tsunade were crushed so both boys began to move getting ready to leave. Jiraiya immediately stopped them in a hurry. He was not eager to experience the boredom from earlier so he suggested that they train together. Both boys glared at Jiraiya like he was stupid so it only took a moment for Jiraiya to realize what he said.

"Um. I mean that we could go out and eat something. While we were discussing, we did not eat anything and I am quite hungry."

Both boys looked unimpressed and Jiraiya panicked. He really did not want to go back into Orochimaru"s man cave and listen to a drove of information that was actively killing his brain. He quickly thought of a new thing that he was actually going to do.

"How about we go shopping?"
