Chapter 4 Young Master Leng Eats Bread and Water When Jiang Senyuan walked to the bathroom door, she heard Leng Muxuan say, “Who is doctor Liu?”
Doctor Liu was the private doctor of Leng’s family; probably after being driven crazy by daylong torture, Leng Muxuan just casually said so. In order to cover it up, he had to change the subject and said, “Can you bandage the wound?” Then he raised his hand and showed it to Jiang Senyuan.
“Oh, Jesus! Did you duel with the knife? You’re like hitting an egg against a stone!” After seeing Leng Muxuan’s frightening wound, Jiang Senyuan began to shout. The wound was actually a serious one, which would lead to a big problem if it was not treated in time.
When she strode over with a washbasin and trash can, Jiang Senyuan finally pulled Leng Muxuan onto the sofa in the living room and found the medicine box to apply the medicine for him.
Leng Muxuan looked at Jiang Senyuan’s malicious eyes and worried that his poor hand would suffer because of her. To give his precious hand like this to such a silly girl, he was terrified! But there was nothing else he could do. . .
In fact, Jiang Senyuan applied the medicine expertly; her eyes were malicious just because she finally knew how the garbage in this place had come about! This was obviously not because of treatment, but because of Leng Muxuan’s cleanliness! This b.l.o.o.d.y b.a.s.t.a.r.d! He made a mess of her house just because he didn’t brush his teeth!
Jiang Senyuan was about to take revenge on Leng Muxuan after treating the wound, or she really couldn’t guarantee whether or not a week later, her house would collapse directly. However, without waiting for her to speak, Leng Muxuan looked at her with pathetic eyes, staring at her inexplicably.
“Don’t look at me like that!” She was the kind of person who could be persuaded by reason, but couldn’t be cowed by force! What the h.e.l.l did this guy want?
Leng Muxuan didn’t care about Jiang Senyuan’s tangled feelings at all, and he said more pitifully, “I have eaten nothing today. . .”
Jiang Senyuan, baffled, rummaged around for the lunch box she’d left that morning, but it was already empty! She handed it to Leng Muxuan and said, “If you didn’t eat at all, how come there’s nothing in it now?”
Leng Muxuan didn’t speak and just pointed to the trash can.
Jiang Senyuan was almost going crazy. “What’s wrong with you? How dare you throw away the breakfast I worked so hard to make! And how dare you tell me you haven’t eaten! You deserve to die of hunger!” Jiang Senyuan sat down on the sofa with her hands on her waist, and she really didn’t want to talk to Leng Muxuan anymore.
Leng Muxuan moved his mouth helplessly. He didn’t know that things would come to this, and he hadn’t done so deliberately. In the morning, when he’d looked at the breakfast left by Jiang Senyuan, the breakfast was destined to be thrown away, not be eaten upon first glance. He was the young master of the Leng Family, and he’d never had such a poor, ugly breakfast as that. Only after he threw it away did he truly regret it. His stomach cried all day long, which made him even more irritable. He searched throughout the whole house, but he couldn’t find any new toiletries or anything else to eat and finally, he just lay on the bed, limp and pa.s.sive.
Jiang Senyuan thought Leng Muxuan couldn’t help but apologize to her; as long as he apologized, she could let bygones be bygones. After all, he was a patient! However, Leng Muxuan kept silent for a long time and didn’t say a word at all. This was the kind of situation Jiang Senyuan couldn’t stand most. She stamped her foot angrily and then hid in the bedroom.
d.a.m.n it! You were handsome, and what’s the big deal? How annoying! Could handsome guys so casually commit such a wrong? Could a man abuse his savior just because he was handsome? Although, Leng Muxuan had never seen her as a savior.
Jiang Senyuan suddenly found that since she took in Leng Muxuan, her temper was getting worse and worse. Depressed, she picked up the chips at hand and started to eat them. She always ate something when she was in a bad mood. But within a few, she stared at a chip in her hand and froze.
When Jiang Senyuan thought that she could eat chips in the room happily, but Leng Muxuan had been hungry for all day long, the chips didn’t seem so yummy anymore. She bowed her head in frustration. Fine, I won’t make a fuss with that guy. Anyway, she had already brought him food from the fast food restaurant and would give him something to eat sooner or later.
Jiang Senyuan hurried out of the bedroom and was about to go to the kitchen and take out the food for Leng Muxuan. But as soon as she opened the door, she froze. It turned out that Leng Muxuan had been eating the food which Jiang Senyuan brought back for him. And he even had the TV on and was lounging on the couch, enjoying himself!
Somehow, Jiang Senyuan was so angry that she took away Leng Muxuan’s chopsticks and said, “Who said you could eat that?!” While she was still in the bedroom, worried that he had nothing to eat, she didn’t expect that this conscienceless guy had gone ahead and delightfully eaten the food.
Facing the anger of Jiang Senyuan, Leng Muxuan was not angry at all, and he just swallowed the food in his mouth and said emotionlessly, “It had never come to my mind that bread and water could be delicious.”
“When you have no food to eat, even other people’s leftovers will be delicious!” Jiang Senyuan replied fiercely. What a pathetic and annoying guy!
Leng Muxuan took it seriously. He immediately pretended to throw up the food and said, “Have you eaten this meal?” The expression of disgust deeply destroyed Jiang Senyuan’s self-esteem.
“You know what, Leng Muxuan, not only did I eat it, but I also grabbed it with my hands, which I didn’t wash after using the toilet, or after changing the child’s diapers! You just continue to throw up, and don’t throw up to death!” Jiang Senyuan spat bitterly at Leng Muxuan and took the lunch box to the kitchen. She tried to remember and a.s.sure herself once again that it was really the first time she’d met this person. Why did it seem like that she’d owed him so much in their previous lives that she needed to pay him back in this life?
