Sage World

Chapter 4

"Where am I? is this a dream?" Malvick said as he appeared in a place of total darkness, darkness so dark that it seems to be materialized.

He was hovering in the void of nothingness as he looked all around him wandering the reason for him to be here. He had his suspicion that he was dreaming as he did just fall unconscious in the real world.

He was wondering if this place was the dark thoughts that was clouding his mind earlier, as he is not a person who has fears of death, in fact, he wouldn"t mind talking to death face to face if he could.

"My mind his still too weak, and here I was thinking that my mind could be steady even in the face of certain death." A bitter smile could be seen on his pitch-black face, that made it seem like the darkness was smiling.

He started to move forward in searching for the end of this "dream". Traveling for what seem to be a millennium, he could not see the end, nor could he see any change within this place of only darkness. It was as if there was no time, no s.p.a.ce, just ever-present darkness!

He started to get annoyed at the constant scenery and wanted to see if he could change it as it was only a dream in the end, a thought from his subconscious.

He stops moving and had his fingers pointing forward and was about to say the epic beginning phrase [1] but was interrupted as he saw in the distance that there was a tiny light glowing and flickering as if a candle in the presence of wind, about to go out.

Surprised, he moved at his maximum speed and gradually came closer to the light, until he finally arrived in front of it. He was shocked at what he saw, because in front of him was a huge circular globe.

Yes, it was an azure color planet that was humongous in size. The planet was so huge that his home world, Earth, seems to be an ant in front of it. It was like Earth and the Moon, but the Earth was the Moon instead in comparison to the planet before him. Still, this was not what shocked him though, it was a multiple of things.

First, the planet was barren of life, there was no trees, no animals, there was only mountains that tower into the skies, valleys that run deep into the earth and a body of water that roams about everywhere.

The world was comprised of a humongous continent that a million of Earths could sit and not take up a lot of s.p.a.ce at all. The continent was surround by a bigger ocean that stretch beyond the horizon.

Second reason for his shocked state, was that he has never dreamed of such a place like this before, so how could there be a world like this in his dreams? To top it off, the world that was in his dream was another world, instead of his home world, Earth.

"I will know if this is a dream or not if I test it." He became serious as he looked at the continent and muttered. He had a frightening thought going through his mind as his imagination started to run wild.

*SPILIT! *

He shouted in his heart, wishing for the continent to split in half, but he was disappointed as nothing happened. This event made him think that his guess was right. Was he dead and wandering the cosmos?

"This is not a dream after all?" A horrified expression appeared on his face as he looked around him, wondering how he came to this place. Just as his imagination was running wild again, he heared a noise and looked at it source.

*Rumble*

The continent just like he had wish for had spilt in half and was floating in two different directions as if repulsed by each other. The part that they spilt from was as smooth as a mirror, making it seems like it was cut by a sharp blade of sorts.

Looking at what happened, he was relieved at what happened as it confirmed that this was a dream. The reason he was scared was because if he dies, doesn"t that mean he will have to be reincarnated? What if he was reincarnated as a girl? The thought alone sent a shiver down his spine!

"Lord Types, the person you have told me to watch have been sleeping since he has arrived. There is no problem taking care of him for a while, but if he doesn"t wake up soon, he will mostly like die or become a cripple that can"t move at all." A female servant said as she had her head bowed.

"Is that so. Was there anything on his person that we could use to identify him?" An average looking blond male said as he looked at the servant with his blue eyes that seem to contain a certain kind of power.

"Yes, there was a letter on him, but we could not identify what was written as its characters was weird looking." The servant said as she pa.s.sed the letter to the blond man, while having an odd facial expression as she talked about the letter.

"Weird you say, let me see. Indeed, this writing is odd, I feel like I have seen it before, but I can"t remember where." The blond man muttered as he folds the letter back up. To him, the letters on the paper looked like some scribbles that could induce headaches to people"s head.

"Return the letter back to him and never speak of this, am I understood?" The blond man said as he looked at the servant"s expression dangerously.

"I understand!" The servant knows that if she where to say something else, she would just happen to encounter a beast or a killer on the way home, so there is no way she would not comply with her lord"s words.

"Good, when he wakes up bring him to me, I have some questions to ask him, so be sure take good care of him. "The blond man looked at the servant in an amused way as he spoke.

The servant knows this is the Barons way of saying she should leave, so she didn"t not linger any longer as she retreated.

Watching the servant leave, the blond man furrows his brows as he remembered the letter. For some reason when he saw the letter, he found them familiar, but he doesn"t remember where he saw it.

"Anyway, I wonder if this man is a blessing or a disaster for me, either way, I"m looking forward to it." He said as his blue eyes flashed a sinister red glow that soon disappear as soon as it came.
