Chapter 86.2 – Satan
Yu Hao looked up, Zhou Sheng couldn’t stop kissing him. The entire world seemed to have changed; a strong gale blew, and the leaves from the gingko trees were swept away. The black dragon mount grabbed the totem and crouched over his palace, letting out a roar like a declaration of sovereignty.
The black dragon fiercely clawed the air and grabbed the totem! At the same time, Yu Hao looked down at Zhou Sheng; the brightness of the totem grew steadily, and then became incredibly hot as if it had turned into another sun. The brilliant white light of the totem and the Golden Crow Wheel that was suspended in the sky enhanced each others’ beauty, and it all gushed into Yu Hao’s mind in an instant.
The strong light persisted for a very long time, before eventually ebbing away like a retreating tide. Yu Hao was suddenly struck by a thought.
“General?” Yu Hao said.
“One more time.” Zhou Sheng said, “No fighting monsters anymore today, until daybreak.”
Yu Hao’s wings were dragged across the bar. His fair skin, long legs, narrow waist, and lean muscle contours all made him look extremely erotic.
Yu Hao raised his hand and tried his best to catch the vague thought that had floated through his mind. He covered Zhou Sheng’s cheek with his hand, Zhou Sheng leaned forward to kiss him, but confusion was still evident in his eyes.
“Totem.” Yu Hao said to Zhou Sheng.
“What?” Zhou Sheng sat down cross-legged. He held Yu Hao’s hand with one hand, rubbing against their intertwined fingers together. He looked up at the totem high up in the air, and at this time, the black dragon had flown away contentedly, but it was still staring at Yu Hao’s totem and couldn’t bear to fly too far away.
“My totem became your weapon.” Yu Hao said.
“And it’s also a shield.” Zhou Sheng said, “What’s the matter?”
Yu Hao said, “So, you can bring my strength into the arena! I just can’t partake in the battle, right?”
Zhou Sheng said, “Yeah……”
“Then my NPCs……”
Zhou Sheng, “!!!”
Zhou Sheng suddenly fell silent.
“Have a drink?” Yu Hao asked, then learning from what Zhou Sheng did, snapped his fingers, and a set of clothes appeared. Zhou Sheng snapped his fingers as well, and his armour appeared, rea.s.sembled, then covered his body.
“I’ll drink after winning, let’s go!” Zhou Sheng held Yu Hao’s hand, whistled, but that black dragon was still staring at Yu Hao’s totem, seemingly unwilling to part from it.
“Get the f.u.c.k down!” Zhou Sheng roared angrily, “It’s time to get down to business!”
So the black dragon could only turn around and fly back to the platform, carry Yu Hao and Zhou Sheng, then pa.s.s through the Golden Crow Wheel.
The Golden Crow Wheel platform on Zhou Sheng’s sea of clouds was a radiant and splendid place between the heavens and earth. The rolling clouds had all turned pale blue and numerous clouds drifted around the Golden Crow Wheel, but what shocked Yu Hao even more was the crack in the clouds far from the platform — it was several miles long!
Sunlight streamed through the crack in the clouds, which brought a brilliant radiance into the world with the arena.
Although the dense layers of clouds had not completely dispersed, there was already a grand ray of sunlight several miles long that shone straight along the roaring seas and pa.s.sed through the arena. The sea rippled with the golden light from the sky, and the s.p.a.cious arena was well lit.On the Golden Crow Wheel platform, nearly 2,000 NPC warriors from Yu Hao’s dream world had lined up in a neat formation.
Zhou Sheng, clad in armour, made a quick headcount of the troops, then turned to Yu Hao. Yu Hao had fluttered his wings open and was now suspended in the air as he gazed at the arena’s world on the earth.
“How many enemies are there?” Yu Hao asked.
Zhou Sheng answered, “13, one of them has already been defeated, so 12 remain.”
Yu Hao asked curiously, “What was the first one?”
Zhou Sheng dismissed it with a laugh, leapt up, and hugged Yu Hao.
“We’re going down!” Zhou Sheng said.
The two of them turned into meteors and flew down to the arena. Yu Hao let out a loud cry; once they broke through the sea of clouds, his body changed again and turned into the white fox with wings like the previous time. Zhou Sheng hugged him tight with one hand while he whistled with the other. The black dragon flew over and caught them.
The black dragon descended to the arena, and thunderous cheers could be heard from the audience!
Satan, “You’re back again.”
While he was in Zhou Sheng’s embrace, the little fox studied the 11 black flames behind Satan and tried to deduce what they could represent. Aren’t there way too many monsters here?!
Zhou Sheng said, “I’d like to challenge Medusa again.”
Satan said slowly amidst the roaring cheers, “Your wounds have healed? Seems like you’re in good spirits.”
Zhou Sheng smiled.
Satan added, “But I have to remind you that you can’t invite your companions to fight alongside you in your battles, unless you’re determined to break the rules here.”
The fox watched Satan, but Zhou Sheng said, “He’s not partic.i.p.ating; he’s just here to support me, and to supply me with courage and strength. Invite him to the spectators’ grandstand.”
Satan stretched his hand out, and the fox said to Zhou Sheng, “You can do it.”
Zhou Sheng touched the little fox gently, “With you here, of course I can.”
The fox jumped onto Satan’s hand from Zhou Sheng’s shoulder. Within an instant, a bright light burst forth and feathers swirled in the air — Yu Hao appeared in his angel form within that strong light.
“Welcome, distinguished guest.” Satan was suspended in mid air as he held Yu Hao’s hand and flew towards the VIP stand that faced the arena.
Yu Hao looked back and saw that Zhou Sheng was still standing in the arena; he looked up at the sky; the clouds were surging, and sunlight spilled all over the arena.
As long as there was a ray of sunlight, then there would be hope.
“Please, take a seat.” Satan said politely and seated Yu Hao in a place of honour with a soft cushion that faced the arena. “I think the master of the dreamscape still needs to make some preparations, so please wait a moment.”
Zhou Sheng was in the arena, whispering to his black dragon.
Yu Hao said, “Talking to his own d.i.c.k does seem pretty strange.”
Satan laughed, “There’s an obvious error in your perception. Bahamut represents his unyielding character and beastly nature, it’s not a concrete representation of his genitals.”
“Oh is that so……” Yu Hao turned to Satan and smiled, “Then what about you?”
Talking about the black dragon was just the opening act, Yu Hao’s real purpose only revealed itself now.
“What do you think?” The corners of Satan’s lips became slightly upturned. He raised an eyebrow, and there was an intense insidiousness in his smile; Yu Hao suddenly felt like he had seen that before — that smile was too familiar!
“You’re Zhou Sheng too?” Yu Hao said, “You’re his dark self.”
Satan changed his form: his horns gradually faded away, and he turned into a Zhou Sheng who was clad in black armour. A murderous and ridiculing air surrounded him. He sat next to Yu Hao and faced him, then whispered, “That’s right. I love you as much as he does, and I love you so much I’m going crazy. I want to imprison you, control you, and make you cry because of your love for me. I want to hurt you, and carefully gnaw on your feelings for me.”
“Is it your negativity towards love?” Yu Hao said, “It’s fortunate you’re restraining yourself.”
“He’s the one restraining me.” Dark Zhou Sheng sneered, “Or else I would’ve tortured you into a very miserable state. Little fox, be with me ba, I guarantee that it’ll be a whole new experience.”
“Like getting SM-ed by you every day?” Yu Hao retorted.
Dark Zhou Sheng began caressing Yu Hao’s wings, but Yu Hao’s halo suddenly appeared and deflected him with a “buzz”.
Dark Zhou Sheng smiled, “You should be a bit more obedient, then you wouldn’t anger me. Don’t look at how patient I’m being now, that’s only because we’re currently in our honeymoon period. It’s hard to say what will happen once it’s over.”
“I like a little spice too.” Yu Hao said, “But if we have to fight endlessly over gaining control in the relationship, then spare me.”
Yu Hao remembered the first time he fought his dark self in the palace with Zhou Sheng’s help.
“Which couple isn’t like that in this world?” Dark Zhou Sheng said.
“Liang Laoshi used to think like that too.” Yu Hao said, “But I believe a relationship should be properly managed.”
Dark Zhou Sheng laughed it off.
“I remember that in other people’s dreamscapes, there’s no rule of not letting others beat you up directly.” Yu Hao said, “We have always just run around wantonly as we pleased.”
“That’s right.” Dark Zhou Sheng’s voice carried a tinge of magnetism, “But that’s only when you ignore the rules. If you want to defeat his inner self by following the prescribed order, then you’ll have to follow my rules. When challenging me, I wouldn’t mind it if the two of you do it together. Of course, you guys could choose to ignore the rules, and I will take all the apostles back. I believe that’s not what you want to see.”
Yu Hao said, “What if the challenge fails?”
Dark Zhou Sheng lifted Yu Hao’s chin and whispered, “By then, I’ll be the one to control you. What do you think of me?”
Yu Hao gazed into Dark Zhou Sheng’s eyes. His eyes were like deep, dark wells, and he could feel Zhou Sheng’s intense, demonic love.
“To be honest, I don’t approve of how he’s treating you right now.” Dark Zhou Sheng said, “He’ll spoil you, and people are always like this: once they get used to how well others treat them, they’ll turned greedy and insatiable, become accustomed to it, and start asking for more. If he can’t give you as much one day, you’ll feel like he doesn’t love you anymore. After the pa.s.sion fades, the two of you will sink into a quagmire of endless quarrels, and you’ll want to leave him……”
Yu Hao turned Dark Zhou Sheng’s hand over, pressed it against the table, took a dagger out, and stabbed it into the table with a “thud” — the dagger was nailed down right in between Dark Zhou Sheng’s fingers.
“Behave yourself.” Yu Hao said, “Keep your hands off of me in public. I won’t.”
Dark Zhou Sheng smiled and said slowly, “The Devil and Archangel seem destined to be sworn enemies for life.”
Yu Hao looked in front of the table, “And what’s that?”
There was a circle of light that floated atop the table — Zhou Sheng stretched his forefinger and middle finger out to touch it, and that light began flowing around his fingers.
“You already have an answer in mind.” Dark Zhou Sheng said.
Totem, that’s Zhou Sheng’s totem. Yu Hao couldn’t help but shift his gaze from the totem to the arena.
Zhou Sheng touched the black dragon’s head, parted from him, then said in a loud voice, “Start ba!”
Yu Hao became nervous. But suddenly, a sound travelled over from afar and rang out close by. Zhou Sheng looked around his surroundings, then looked up at the sky — the entire conscious world was beginning to twist and blur.
“Zhou Sheng!” Yu Hao realised something, but a white light burst out from where Zhou Sheng was and the ancient Roman arena rapidly disintegrated. A loud sound blared, sweeping across Yu Hao, and then the dream world fell apart.
Yu Hao woke up from the dream and heard an alarm clock ring nonstop on Fu Liqun’s bed that was across from his.
“Why the h.e.l.l did you set an alarm during the holidays?!” Zhou Sheng blew up and sat up abruptly. Yu Hao suddenly burst out laughing while tossing and turning in bed.
Yet Fu Liqun was the last to wake up. In his groggy state, he got up to turn the alarm clock off and said, “Sorry, I forgot about it.” Then he climbed down the ladder to go to the toilet.
Zhou Sheng was on the verge of exploding from anger, while Yu Hao just looked helpless. Fu Liqun got back onto his bed. It was already bright outside, and sunlight was streaming into their dormitory through the curtains.
Yu Hao had just moved when he immediately sensed something. He quickly lifted the blanket, while Zhou Sheng threw him a pair of underwear from underneath his bed for him to change into. Looks like that one time in his dreamscape led to a conditioned reflex in reality.
Zhou Sheng went to take a bath before he got back onto his bed. Yu Hao went to take a bath too, and after their baths, neither of them felt like sleeping anymore.
Zhou Sheng waved his hand at Yu Hao, and Yu Hao moved closer onto his bed. However, Zhou Sheng slept closer to the outer edge of his bed and pointed next to him, signalling to Yu Hao to come over. Yu Hao looked at Fu Liqun; Fu Liqun had turned over and was facing the wall.
Yu Hao tiptoed over. The single bed in their college’s dormitory was very small, and with the two of them squeezing onto it, they could only hug each other as they slept. No matter where Yu Hao placed one of his hands, it felt uncomfortable, so he turned around and let Zhou Sheng hug him from behind.
The weather was beginning to cool down. Even after taking a bath, Zhou Sheng still had a strong masculine scent and poked Yu Hao from the back. Yu Hao thought this guy really is a beast……once in the day yesterday, shot once in the dream, but his desire was still as strong as ever.
“I can’t sleep anymore after taking a bath.” Zhou Sheng whispered.
“Sleep at night ba.” Yu Hao said in a very soft voice.
“Sorry my babies.” Fu Liqun said without any longing for life.
Zhou Sheng quickly said that it was okay, Yu Hao typed out a row of words on his phone to show Zhou Sheng:【Is Satan the dark you?】
Zhou Sheng let Yu Hao rest his head on one of his arms and freed his other arm:【I don’t know, should be ba? Who else would it be?】
Yu Hao always thought it seemed strange, because that meant that the Zhou Sheng who was hugging him now was both General and Satan. But when he thought about it carefully, he could also somewhat understand it. Although General’s integrity prevails most of the time, there are times when Zhou Sheng could be a bit mean, although he didn’t really know how to explain it.
